Background / History

Dragon led the Revolutionary Army against the World Government, but its forces were vastly outmatched by the government's military branches, CP agencies, and high-level combatants. When Emporio Ivankov was captured, Dragon refused an immediate rescue attempt, judging that the organization could not withstand open conflict with the World Government; this decision alienated Ginny and disappointed Kuma 78.

Shaya raised Dragon's and the Revolutionary Army commanders' bounties, placing Dragon at three billion Berries despite his limited recent anti-government activity. The inflated rewards drew dedicated Revolutionary Army hunters and placed sustained pressure on the organization 78.

At Flevance, Dragon fell into a World Government trap arranged by Shaya. He was injected with Vegapunk's Super Female Hormone, a modified application of Ivankov's power that permanently altered his body into a female/Newhalf form. His Haki could not reverse the alteration 80 81.

After protecting his subordinates from CP0 hypnosis and ordering Kuma to evacuate the Revolutionary Army, Dragon fought Douglas Bullet alone. The transformation improved his agility and flexibility but reduced his physical strength, leaving him disadvantaged against Bullet 81.

Shaya then approached Dragon directly, offering ten billion Berries, weapons, technology, logistical support, and a government warship for the Revolutionary Army. Dragon accepted the resources, unaware that the warship carried a tracking device and that Shaya intended to use the Revolutionaries to destabilize kingdoms for World Government gain 82.

Dragon later became the Okama King of Newkama Land while retaining command of the Revolutionary Army. As Shaya's infiltration and power became impossible to ignore, Dragon concluded that revolution could not succeed. He dissolved the organization and brought its personnel into the World Government, where he became an Air Force Admiral under the codename White Dragon 103 142 143 151.

Appearance

Following the Super Female Hormone injection, Dragon has a feminine body with greater agility and flexibility than before; the change also reduced his former physical strength 81.

Dragon initially acts cautiously and pragmatically as a revolutionary leader. He repeatedly prioritizes the survival of the Revolutionary Army over risky rescues or direct confrontation with the World Government, even when those choices hurt his closest comrades 78 103.

Despite this caution, Dragon is willing to risk himself to protect his subordinates. At Flevance, he neutralized Gismonda's hypnosis with Haki, sent his forces away, and remained behind to confront Bullet alone 81.

His repeated defeats, Shaya's manipulation, and the discovery that CP0 had deeply infiltrated his organization ultimately leave him disillusioned with revolution. He comes to view cooperation with Shaya and the World Government as the only viable route to safeguard people 143 169.
