After carefully examining the pile of miscellaneous items inside the Spatial Ring.
With a flip of his hand, Lynn produced a black token engraved with the character "Fallen." The token was entirely black, carved with ancient yet ornate patterns. At a glance, it was clearly no ordinary object.
"Is this token the precious treasure they mentioned?" Lynn hesitated.
This ancient-looking token was the most unusual item among the pile of miscellaneous objects in his Spatial Ring.
Yet after inspecting the token with his Spiritual Sense for quite some time, Lynn still could not find anything special about it. It seemed to be nothing more than an ordinary token.
"Could this token be some kind of pass for a certain place? Or does it represent some sort of identity?" Lynn secretly guessed, but soon frowned again. "But there's nothing special about it at all. It would be easy to forge. Could it really be considered a precious treasure?"
"Forget it. Whether it's this thing or not, when the Seven-star Demon from the Four Divine Beast Families comes looking for me, I'll just give it to him." Lynn lightly shook his head and put the token back into his Spatial Ring, no longer dwelling on the matter.
If the thing they were looking for was not this token, then at worst, he could simply cancel his ownership of the Spatial Ring and let them inspect it.
The wealth of a Seven-star Demon was worth at least trillions of Ink Stones. They would not disregard their dignity and snatch away his belongings. Letting them take a look would not hurt.
He did not want the Four Divine Beast Families' affairs to affect his cultivation!
"Why can the Profound Mystery of Flicker and the Power of Judgment be fused this way..." Lynn gradually immersed himself in comprehending the Element Laws.
The fusion of profound mysteries also varied in difficulty. Among the six profound mysteries of the same element, some were more compatible, making them naturally easier to fuse. Others, however, were worlds apart, making fusion far more difficult to understand.
For example, Lightning Element and Flicker. These two profound mysteries—Lightning Element was the foundation of the Lightning Law, while "Flicker" was a profound mystery extended from that foundation. Their fusion was practically a matter of course, and Lynn could understand the profundity behind it.
But Flicker and Power of Judgment were two profound mysteries with relatively great differences among the lightning-element mysteries.
Even if their completed fusion were placed before Lynn for him to comprehend, his mind would still be filled with confusion. He needed to slowly understand their points of compatibility, turning them into his own insights.
If he only comprehended individual profound mysteries, then with the strength of his soul, his speed would probably be far faster than refining Divine Sparks. In less than a few decades, he could comprehend all the profound mysteries and become a Highgod.
Unfortunately, once his understanding of the profound mysteries took shape that way, comprehending Fusion Profundity afterward would become even more difficult!
"If only I could draw the complete Dark Element Law!" Lynn could not help but sigh.
If he had the complete Dark Element Law, he would not consider fusion at all. He would become a Highgod at the fastest possible speed, then refine a Sovereign Spark and become a Sovereign!
After cultivating bitterly for more than ten days and digesting the insights he had gained from his battles in the arena, Lynn finally left the small courtyard and headed toward the arena once more.
What puzzled him was that during this period, the experts of the Four Divine Beast Families had not come looking for him as he had expected.
Of course, he did not know that no one had come to disturb him because Makram, the Seven-star Demon in charge of the Four Divine Beast Families' affairs on the Muya Continent, had not been in Moon Shadow Mansion before. Upon receiving the news, he had rushed back at top speed.
At this moment, he was already not far from Floating Light City.
Evening.
When Lynn walked out of the arena, he saw a thin young man with crimson-red hair waiting for him outside. The youth had a vertical flame-shaped mark between his brows, adding a touch of mystery to his appearance.
He was none other than Maksim Nimo, an elder of the Vermillion Bird branch of the Four Divine Beast Families and a Seven-star Demon!
"Lynn, right?" Maksim slowly walked toward Lynn, his expression extremely cold. "I, Makram, hope you can hand over the precious treasure lost by the Four Divine Beast Families, or tell me where the surviving member of the Talin Family is!"
As he drew near, he also swept his Spiritual Sense over Lynn, attempting to sense his aura. Yet to his surprise, he could not sense the other party's soul aura at all.
Clearly, the other party's attainments in the soul surpassed his own.
Of course, that was only enough to surprise him.
So what if the other party's soul was stronger than his? Could the person before him possibly be a Paragon? A Sovereign?
Even Asuras and Purgatory Commanders had to bow their heads before the great Four Divine Beast Families!
"Hm?" Lynn was also displeased with his attitude, but he had already decided not to clash with the Four Divine Beast Families. Thus, he merely frowned before taking the black token engraved with "Fallen" from his Spatial Ring. "That person from the Talin Family tried to kill me and was killed by me instead. Among the things in his Spatial Ring, only this token was unfamiliar to me. Is this the precious treasure you're looking for?"
Upon seeing the token in Lynn's hand, Makram's expression suddenly turned excited. Although he quickly regained his composure, Lynn still sensed the fluctuation in his emotions and could not help secretly wondering, What exactly is this thing, to make even a Seven-star Demon lose control of his emotions?
"Good! You've done well!" Makram looked at Lynn indifferently and ordered in the manner of an emperor, "Give me the token!"
His lofty manner made Lynn deeply displeased. Moreover, he was returning the token to the other party and had not even received a word of thanks.
Hmph! No wonder your Four Divine Beast Families were later trapped in the Sky Sacrifice Mountain Range and slaughtered by the Eight Great Families! Lynn snorted inwardly and tossed the token in his hand toward the other party.
Seeing Makram catch the token, Lynn lifted his foot and prepared to leave. "Since this token is your family's precious treasure, keep it safe. Don't lose it again, or no one may return it to you next time!"
However, he did not notice that when the token fell into Makram's hand, Makram was first overjoyed, then stunned, and finally enraged.
Whoosh!
A ball of flame streaked through the air and stopped in front of Lynn, eventually taking Makram's form. He looked at Lynn darkly. "Hand over the real Fallen Realm Token! This is not a treasure you are qualified to possess!"
"The real one?" Lynn looked at him in confusion.
Then he saw crimson flames rise from the other party's hand. In the blink of an eye, they burned the token into nothingness!
After doing all this, Makram looked darkly at Lynn once more. "Stop pretending! The Fallen Realm Token was created by a Sovereign. Even Paragon Highgods cannot destroy it! Did you think you could fool me by casually producing a fake?"
"So that's why such a thing could be considered a precious treasure." Realization flashed through Lynn's eyes, but aside from that token, there were no other tokens in his Spatial Ring.
He said impatiently, "I only had that one token. If it isn't what you want, then it has nothing to do with me. Go look somewhere else!"
With that, Lynn walked straight ahead.
"You want to leave?" Makram looked at Lynn, fury flashing through his eyes as he directly blocked Lynn's path.
