Previous Life

Kosma grew up alongside Disaster, who gave him a harmonica and remained central to his idea of what a hero should protect. He sought heroism earnestly, but his memories of the previous life are defined by failures: he could not save Disaster during the Eighth Herrscher incident, Hen during the Ninth, or prevent later tragedies despite his determination to act. 126

He initially resisted becoming the executor of the Ark Project, believing departure into space would make him a deserter. After Zhu Yufeng sacrificed himself to incapacitate Finality for seventy-two hours, Kosma restarted the project and departed aboard the Ark. 146

Following humanity's failure against Finality, he left Earth for the stars carrying a photograph of himself and Disaster as children, as well as the harmonica she had given him. 32

Reborn Timeline

After returning with knowledge of the previous life, Kosma joins Kevin in Changkong City during the Third Honkai Eruption. Though not yet enhanced, he risks himself to rescue civilians trapped beneath rubble and continues fighting once Fire Moth equips him. 78

His foreknowledge makes him increasingly distrustful of idealistic solutions. During an outbreak investigation, he supports the harsh decision not to expend unlimited resources on victims suffering severe Honkai erosion, even though Disaster opposes it. 122 124

Kosma later resolves to become a different kind of hero: someone who prevents tragedies whenever possible, but who can still choose the lesser evil when no perfect outcome exists. This conviction temporarily drives him and Disaster apart. 126 129 130
