Background / History

Vill-V is an engineer whose identity is divided among multiple distinct personas. In her previous life, the original Vill-V deliberately separated these personalities after undergoing Fusion Warrior surgery; each persona subsequently held independent memories. Her earliest repaired object, a pocket watch she continues to keep, became a personal symbol of the Ship of Theseus paradox and her fear that repeated replacement of personalities could eventually erase the original Vill-V. 31 254 411

Before she was barred from further Divine Key production, Vill-V created Divine Keys including Black Abyss White Flower. During the battle against Finality, she was nearly killed after losing her armament's protection; Yu Feng saved her from being thrown from the Moon, an event that deeply affected the ego personality's feelings toward him. 31 134

Following her rebirth, Vill-V returned with eight personas despite not yet having undergone the surgery that originally divided them. The personas retained their separate memories and can communicate directly in her mind, rather than relying on memo boards as they once did. 67 254

Determined to locate the reborn Yu Feng, Vill-V's personas destroyed a Fire Moth branch base where he had previously stayed, expecting the incident to draw attention. Personality

Vill-V's personas express different aspects of the same person rather than being wholly separate individuals. She describes herself as a “trickster” capable of imitating or splitting off personas such as the Magician and Extreme Evil; their feelings ultimately originate from Vill-V herself. 254 256

The Expert is methodical, technically focused, and prone to suspicious investigation. The Magician is theatrical and playful, treating engineering demonstrations and dangerous mechanisms as “magic.” Extreme Evil embodies Vill-V's pride, possesses nearly half of her talent, and is her most aggressive, possessive, and uninhibited persona. 72 197 252

Beneath her confidence, the original Vill-V struggles with self-worth. She disliked her true self enough to seek acceptance through constructed personas, and she fears being abandoned or considered insufficiently feminine.
