The Shadow of Voldemort Appears
Bellatrix Lestrange.
She was a tall woman with thick, shiny black hair, a full jaw, thin lips, heavy eyelids, and thick, long eyelashes.
With a casual wave of her hand, Bellatrix walked slowly toward Neville, a sinister smile on her face. Her lips moved, but no sound came out; however, the incantation she was chanting could be read from her lip movements, "[Bone-Crushing Cruciatus Curse]".
His father's wails, his mother's cries... painful memories kept surfacing in his mind. Neville's tall body trembled, and he involuntarily retreated, his eyes filled with fear of the Cruciatus Curse.
The classroom was completely silent.
Bellatrix's cruel and ferocious face sent a chill down Hermione, and the other young wizards reacted similarly. Even just a look or a glance from a true Death Eater was enough to instill fear in these young lions.
Loren's pupils gleamed with a crystalline blue light as he stared intently at the magic wand.
Although it appears to be Bellatrix, the essence of the Magic Power is still the Grey Mist -like Magic Power of the Boggart, and there is no magical fluctuation of Magic Power poised to be unleashed by a spell.
Harry stared intently at Bellatrix, at her sinister smile, at her cruel gaze.
Death Eater, these are the enemies I will face in the future...
"Stop backing down, Neville, do as we agreed before!" Lupin's gentle and calm voice broke the heavy atmosphere in the classroom.
"You're fake, you're fake! Even if you were real, I wouldn't be afraid of you!" Neville shrieked. "Slippery—slippery— Riddikulus!"
Snap!
With a sharp crack, like the sound of a whip being lashed, a boiling cauldron suddenly appeared, exploded in mid-air, and the potion splashed through the air, covering Bellatrix completely.
The clothes made a "sizzling" sound as they were corroded. The "Bellatrix" disguised by Boggart became swollen all over, large patches of scabies appeared, and the skin cracked and spurted out pus.
Bellatrix, covered in scabies, took a few steps back and let out a painful howl in front of the cabinet.
Loren's gaze fell on the ground, where the potions created by the "Riddikulus" spell and the Boggart had dissipated, turning into wisps of Grey Mist that returned to the Boggart's body.
Bellatrix is fake, and the misconfigured scabies medication is also fake.
Boggart are illusions, and the "Riddikulus" spell also creates illusions.
So what was it that repelled Boggart?
Professor Lupin said Boggart was afraid of laughter, but Neville remained calm. The other young wizards were clapping and cheering for Neville, and no laughter was heard.
So, is the key to defeating Boggart by using other emotions to dispel fear?
Loren nodded thoughtfully, intending to observe more cases.
"Well done, Neville!" Lupin patted him on the shoulder and pulled him aside to stand. "Next, Parvati!"
Parvati, the mummy.
Seamus, the Banshee.
Dean, missing hand.
The young wizards were amazed, never imagining that their classmates had seen so many strange and bizarre dark creatures, including even the rare Banshee.
"Great! Ron, it's your turn!"
Ron, who had been watching for a long time, ran forward.
Snap—
The rat-shaped Boggart left behind by the previous student twisted slightly, and a wizard figure wearing a purple magic robe, a scarf on his head, and with a blurred face appeared.
Seamus exclaimed, "Another Death Eater?"
Dean's eyes widened, and he exclaimed incredulously, "It looks like Professor Quirrell."
"Quirrell?"
Loren and Hermione exchanged a glance, both of them filled with shock.
Harry's breath hitched. "Voldemort?"
"Come on, I'm not afraid of you!" Ron pursed his lips tightly and stared straight at Boggart in front of him.
He had faced Voldemort twice. Once, Voldemort possessed Quirrell and manipulated Quirrell body, and a Magic Power shock shattered his knight.
But on that occasion, he also outmaneuvered Voldemort.
Later, in the Chamber of Secrets, Voldemort's remnant soul, along with Crabbe, was easily defeated by him and Harry working together.
Lupin's expression turned grave. He stepped forward, wand in hand, wanting to stop what was about to happen.
Just then, Boggart seemed to realize that Ron didn't seem to be afraid of Voldemort, or that Voldemort could only exist by attaching himself to others, and his form began to change again.
Snap!
Several students screamed as a giant, Acromantula, six feet tall and covered in thick black hair, appeared in the spot, waving its limbs and approaching Ron.
Loren, his two companions, and Lupin all breathed a sigh of relief as they looked at the ferocious spider.
Ron paused for a moment, then shouted, "[Riddikulus]"
The Acromantula Acromantula wilted, lying weakly on the ground, its carapace making a series of "thump-thump" sounds as it groaned, seemingly being kicked repeatedly.
Harry, Loren, and Hermione looked at each other strangely; they recognized what was happening.
Last Christmas holiday, Hagrid was arrested in connection with the Basilisk Incident. They blew up the nest of the Acromantula while investigating the Chamber of Secrets. Aragog was forced to confess by a few people in this way.
Loren couldn't help but chuckle softly, looking at Hermione with a teasing gaze... She was the one who kicked the hardest back then.
Bang!
Bang!
The Acromantula's limbs trembled incessantly, as if a hammer were pounding on its carapace. Apart from the four people present at the time, no one knew that it was the sound of a girl kicking.
"Stop laughing..." Hermione's cheeks flushed slightly as she tugged at Loren's sleeve, muttering softly, "It wasn't this loud back then..."
Next up were Harry, Loren, and the others. After what happened with Ron, Lupin dared not let them try again. If Voldemort were to appear in the classroom, the Daily Prophet would be on the front page tomorrow.
Lupin quickly stepped forward, stopping the demonstration, and gave the young wizards a gentle smile, "Fantastic! Everyone did a wonderful job, Neville..."
"...5 points for Neville, and 5 points each for Dean, Hermione, and Harry, for answering the questions correctly!" Lupin shouted, raising his voice. "Everyone did a great job, and the lesson was a success. Homework: read the chapter about the Boggart and summarize it briefly... hand it in to me on Monday, that's all."
Loren and Hermione, Harry and Ron tacitly stayed behind, quietly waiting for the young wizards to leave the Staff Room one by one.
"Did you see how I took down that Banshee?" Seamus shouted.
"And that hand!" Dean waved his hands.
"And my mummy!"
