Flamel: Why Don't You Set Something on Fire?
"Library in a dream?"
Loren's expression became subtle. He thought for a moment and said meaningfully, "In my dream, there is not only Library, but also Potions Room, Duel Chamber, and Alchemy Laboratory."
Hermione looked Loren up and down several times, paused for a moment, and said meaningfully, "I'm sorry, Loren, I misunderstood you before. I thought you were a lazy, unambitious, and sleepy bad student."
"..."
Loren was a diligent person and couldn't tolerate such blatant slander. He immediately punched her with his little fist. "Personal attack! I'll report you!"
Hermione couldn't hold back her laughter and made a "coughing" sound. She grabbed his fist and pressed it down. "Sorry, but if you ask me, you were the one who joked with me first."
"What a joke, I'm serious!"
"Yes, yes, I'm serious." Hermione took a deep breath and pursed her lips. "I'm serious too. I'm telling you, I dreamed of a brightly lit Library without any lights, and there were countless books in it..."
As Hermione recounted the scenes from her dream in detail, Loren became increasingly certain that Hermione had entered the Fantasy Book.
Recalling when he first activated the Fantasy Book and Flamel, he had asked Flamel if he could bring others into the Fantasy Book. Flamel had given him a vague answer, "Loren, this is your dream, everything depends on you..."
Loren began to sort through his recent memories, trying to find the trigger that led Hermione into the Fantasy Book. He thought for a long time, and even when he arrived outside the Divination Classroom in the North Tower, he still couldn't find an answer.
"Do you think this could be some kind of magic at Hogwarts Castle, like the Room of Requirement, where clever little wizards can enter the Library?" Hermione tilted her head, guessing excitedly.
"Possibly," Loren nodded. "So, Miss Granger, would you be interested in visiting my dream?"
"What are you saying?" Hermione blushed, thinking this was another of Loren's teasing remarks. "Who wants to go into your dreams..."
Loren chuckled and said, "That's not up to you."
"Don't dream about me!"
"..."
The two chatted and laughed as they entered the Divination Class teahouse—no, the Divination Classroom.
The doors and windows of the room were tightly closed, the curtains were drawn, and the lampshades were covered with dark red drapes. A hazy red light filled the entire classroom. The fireplace was burning Fire Charm, and a large copper teapot sat on top, emitting a strong, nauseating aroma of spices from its spout.
The other students in the class covered their noses, frowned, and slumped in their seats as if they were suffering, their expressions distressed.
Aside from Parvati and Lavender, they showed Professor Trelawney exceptional respect. In the past few weeks, they had always liked to come to this tower classroom for lunch. No one knew what they talked about with Professor Trelawney, and they always left with a mysterious expression on their faces.
Seeing that the two of them were talking to Professor Trelawney again before class started, Ron came over and complained, "Spare me, I don't know when their Prophecy say I'll meet with misfortune, but if they could stop looking at me like that, I'd drop the class."
The people around him chuckled, because when Parvati and Lavender were talking in hushed tones, they would always turn around and look at Ron with strange eyes, and Trelawney had made Prophecy in the first lesson that Parvati should stay away from Ron.
Ron always felt that, according to them, he shouldn't live much longer.
Harry, who was also considered to be the unlucky one to die, laughed loudly. He put his hand on Ron's shoulder and said, "Have you thought it through? If you're going to drop Divination Class, what will you choose: Ancient Rune or Arithmancy?"
"Oh, no, spare me..." Ron sighed. "I've seen Hermione's homework. Those dense numbers and strange symbols must be full of curses, otherwise why do I get a headache just looking at them?"
"I think you're quite suited for Arithmancy," Loren said with a smile.
"Spare me."
Late at night, before I fell asleep, a light rain began to fall, gently tapping against the window.
As the night rain pattered on, Loren nestled into his fluffy, soft blankets, holding the Fantasy Book in his hands. Looking at the icons on it, he grinned.
I've already said it, whether you dream or not is not up to you.
Meeting her directly in a dream was a huge surprise for Hermione.
In the brightly lit Library of the Fantasy Book, Flamel looked up from a book on modern opera theory, and stared at Loren with some surprise as he entered. "Why aren't you practicing Fiendfyre in the Duel Chamber? What are you doing in the Library—?"
Flamel's face showed understanding, and he solemnly advised, "I understand that as a beginner you want to burn something, and the Library can indeed be rebuilt instantly if it is burned down, but this kind of behavior is not worth advocating."
Flamel paused briefly. "Besides, I remember you can't unleash Fiendfyre, you can only spew out some choking black smoke."
"What nonsense are you spouting..." Loren waved his hand to interrupt his rambling. "I'm here to wait for someone."
Flamel became interested. "Waiting for someone?"
Loren began to recount the events of the day. "Hermione told me..."
Meanwhile, in a girls' dormitory in Gryffindor,
The Witch had just finished washing their hair and came out. Although they had easily dried their hair with magic, they still sat together and chatted while combing each other's hair.
Parvati gently brushed aside the small bumps in Hermione's hair, tilted her head slightly, and said to Lavender, "Actually, Weasley looks pretty good, but compared to his friends, well... I'm not saying Weasley is bad, it's just that Harry is too outstanding, and—"
She drew out the word, hugged Hermione's shoulders and shook her, teasingly saying, "And then there's this one, Loren Morgan!"
Hermione gasped, whether from embarrassment or fright, and gave Parvati a playful slap.
"I don't have time to think about Ron right now..." Lavender sighed worriedly. "Professor Trelawney's Prophecy of October 16th is coming soon, and I can't stop worrying about it. I even have terrible dreams when I sleep."
Hermione and Parvati looked at her. "What did you dream about?"
"Many..." Lavender gestured, then said hesitantly, "Dementor, Boggart, Banshee, Fire Dragon ... and Basilisk."
"Don't worry, Lavender, even if all of these things attack Hogwarts together, Professor Dumbledore won't need to lift a finger. Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick can handle them," Hermione reassured her.
"It seems... that's the case."
Lavender felt a little relieved and finally had the mind to get involved in matters of the heart. She glanced at Hermione discreetly and asked in a low voice, "Hermione, you're close to them, have you heard Ron say who he likes?"
Hermione smiled indulgently. "No, don't worry. Besides, didn't you already have Professor Trelawney do Divination?"
"I think so too, he's definitely mine!"
"..."
As the night deepened, the girls chatted about everything from the moon to the clouds, from handsome boys to Quidditch, from class to homework, and stayed up late.
In the Fantasy Book, Flamel turned to the last page, looked up at Loren who had been waiting for a long time, and pondered for a moment, "How about you practice Fiendfyre?"
