Encountering Firenze Again
Exhausted, Loren pushed open the bedroom door and was greeted by two animals made of silvery-white light: a stag with long, pointed antlers on the left and a majestic lion on the right.
Two Patronus stood tall in the center of the room, their soft, silvery-white light illuminating the entire space.
Ron explained earnestly from the side, "The image of the Patronus is closely related to each person's personality. The lion symbolizes courage. As you can see, Neville is a courageous Gryffindor. Although he is usually not very good at remembering and doesn't talk much, the courage he shows in times of crisis is true courage."
"What does Harry's stag represent?" Seamus asked.
Ron paused for a moment, thought for a few seconds, and tentatively asked, "Does that mean his father's Patronus is also a stag?"
"Then why is his father's Patronus a stag?"
"Perhaps his grandfather's Patronus was a stag."
"Then why is his grandfather's Patronus a stag?"
"..."
The people present fell silent, trying to recall who had started the conversation.
Harry thought his grandfather's Patronus might not be a stag, and that his grandfather might not even have learned the Patronus Charm.
Loren, who was standing to the side watching the commotion, chuckled, "The stag represents leadership and courage, which fits Harry's identity as the Chosen One. Moreover, since the stag's antlers fall off and regenerate every year, it is also a symbol of rebirth and resurrection, which fits Harry's experience of surviving a near-death experience."
"I see..." Seamus nodded thoughtfully, then looked at him curiously. "Loren, what is your Patronus? Can you summon it for us to see?"
Harry and the others looked over curiously.
"It's Orca, too big to be displayed in the room." Loren paused. "If you're willing to take me out for a night tour now, to see my Patronus from the tower, I won't refuse."
"..."
Harry and the others' expressions became complicated. "Good suggestion, but let's not bring it up again."
Ron and Seamus pulled Loren aside to ask some questions about the Patronus Charm. Ron had been learning the Patronus Charm with Professor Lupin Harry the club opened, so he was ahead of the curve. If he focused on practicing, he should be able to summon his Patronus before the end of this term.
Seamus's progress is a bit slower; he's still at the stage where he can only emit light.
Loren explained the theoretical knowledge and shared some practice tips. Harry and Neville listened attentively, filling in any gaps in their understanding. They chatted until late at night before returning to their beds, still feeling excited.
February is a time of fluctuating temperatures, with the weather sometimes warm and sometimes cold.
Hagrid used various Fantastic Beasts related to fire to teach everyone, and the burning flames made the chilly spring weather a little more interesting.
Time flies, and it's Wednesday, the day of the full moon.
Lunch break.
Scattered around the courtyard were young wizards passing the time. Daffodils and camellias of various colors were in full bloom, and unnamed wildflowers were beginning to sprout. Some were scrambling for earthworms in the grass, while others were blowing on Blue Belladonna Flames under the eaves. They gathered in twos and threes, and bursts of laughter could be heard from time to time.
"Um..."
Loren gently squeezed Hermione's fair hand, intently examining the lines on it. "Your palmistry is very complex, but the outcome is very good; you will have a fulfilling love life and career."
Touch it, rub it, and pinch it. Loren nodded repeatedly, saying that it felt very nice.
If you ignored his frivolous hand gestures, you could barely assume he was reading palms. Hermione was speechless. "Are these gestures also part of Divination?"
"Of course! What, you don't believe me?"
Loren straightened his neck and looked at her with a righteous indignation, "I only gave you extra Divination Class Divination I saw you dropped out of your class, and you actually doubted me!"
"Then let go of my hand," Hermione said calmly.
"I don't!"
Hermione sighed softly. What else could she do but let him play with her?
Handing her hand to the scoundrel, Hermione leaned back against the tree trunk to relax, took a deep breath, and enjoyed the cool, refreshing air. Looking up, she saw a sky filled with azure blue.
"Professor McGonagall is taking us to the Forbidden Forest tonight to bury the Secret Potion. Do you want to go?" Hermione asked softly.
"Go!"
Loren tickled her palm, glancing at Hermione's expression out of the corner of his eye. He was a little disappointed to find that Hermione wasn't ticklish. It was such a pity that she wasn't ticklish.
"Where are you going?"
"Go dig up the Secret Potion we buried last time and see if it smells bad."
"..."
Hermione's intuition told her that this topic should not be continued.
She accepted this intuition.
After dinner, the young wizards, led by Professor McGonagall, went to the field at the Edge of the Forbidden Forest, where the silvery light of the Full Moon flowed gently through the forest.
There were young wizards who successfully completed the ritual for a month on their first attempt, and there were also older students like Hermione who interrupted the Animagus Ritual due to playing during the holidays.
Harry and Ron followed Loren and Hermione, their expressions filled with barely suppressed excitement. After being tormented by Mandrake Leaf for a month, they were finally free.
"Brewing Secret Potion with saliva, honestly, sounds a bit disgusting?"
"Harry, don't make a fuss! We've seen way more disgusting things in Potions class. Remember the crocodile's live heart? I almost dropped the cauldron when it started beating in my hand."
"How about we bury the Secret Potion together?"
Ron thought for a moment, hesitated for a few seconds, and then shook his head. "Let's forget it. What if we mix them up when we dig them out? I don't want to drink yours—"
"Alright, that's enough!"
Although Harry interrupted Ron in time, he had already subconsciously started imagining that scene in his mind, and felt nauseous for a while.
As before, Professor McGonagall explained the precautions, selected two senior wizards to demonstrate, and then let the other wizards start brewing the Secret Potion before gradually releasing them into the Forbidden Forest.
Loren followed Hermione into the Forbidden Forest, intending to go to the place where they had brewed their Secret Potion last time, dig out the Secret Potion they had made, and then bury the Crystal Vial Hermione had prepared this time.
Although there were some insects in the Forbidden Forest on an early spring night, there was no noisy chirping, and it seemed even more quiet under the cool moonlight.
As they walked, a rustling sound suddenly came from the low bushes ahead. As the leaves rustled, a Centaur emerged from the woods, with unusually blue eyes and Winky white-gold hair, and the lower half of a pale gold horse with Abraxan.
"Firenze?" Loren and Hermione both recognized him and were puzzled as to why he was there.
"Wizard's little pony, the ice and snow have melted. Are you here to plant seeds?" Firenze spoke in a very calm tone as he slowly rode his horse to the two of them.
sowing?
It's probably the Centaur tribe that's been planting recently, but I don't know what they're planting.
Loren shook his head as he thought about it, "We're here to bury the Animagus's Secret Potion."
Hermione looked at the tall Centaur: "Firenze, what brings you here? Would you like us to call Professor McGonagall for you?"
Firenze bent his forelegs slightly and looked down at the two of them. "No need, I came to find you. The starry sky is very clear tonight, and the stars have given us inspiration."
Loren looked up at the sky. It was probably because the weather was fine during the day, with few clouds to obscure the view. Apart from the bright full moon, there was nothing else in the sky, just a deep blue expanse.
Firenze continued, "The sun begins to move away from us, and when it is at its farthest point, Jupiter's dust will obscure the light, so be wary of darkness."
"What do you mean?" Hermione asked.
"Beware of the darkness, that's what the stars say." Firenze got up, scratched the ground with his hoof, and turned to leave.
Loren and Hermione watched him walk away in bewilderment.
Loren paused for a moment. "To be honest, I think Professor Trelawney's divination is better than the centaurs' stargazing; at least we can understand what Professor Trelawney is saying."
"That makes sense..."
