Despite the teachers assigning a lot of homework to the fourth-grade students during the holidays, the young wizards had no interest in doing their homework after the semester ended, and they all got together to play.

The number of people in the Gryffindor Tower was almost the same as before the holiday, and the laughter and noise in the common room never stopped, lasting until late at night every day.

Harry was shaking the Golden Egg around and playing with it wildly, claiming that the screaming sound of the Golden Egg could not be heard in the common room at all.

Fred and George's Canary Cream Biscuits sold very well; every now and then, someone would suddenly sprout feathers all over their body. However, the Gryffindor students quickly learned their lesson and became very wary of any food handed to them, lest a Canary Cream Biscuits be hidden in it.

The Twins are always nowhere to be seen, and according to Lee Jordan, they are developing another new product.

As the Yule Ball approached, some young wizards became increasingly anxious about finding a dance partner. A strange trend emerged among Hogwarts students, especially Slytherin students, who took pride in inviting partners from other schools.

Ron has finally found a dance partner.

He had intended to invite Parvati Patil, Gryffindor beautiful girl, but was told that the Patil sisters had already been won over by Seamus and Dean. At Parvati's suggestion, he invited her roommate, Lavender Brown.

December 24, 1994, Saturday.

That morning, the young wizards woke up to find the Castle decorated in brand new colors. The professors seemed determined to showcase the Castle at its best for Christmas and impress the other schools.

The Castle was decorated with lights and colorful decorations. The Marble Staircase railings were covered with icicles that would never melt. The twelve Christmas that were always placed in the Great Hall were decorated with all sorts of little trinkets, from Winky holly berries to live, chirping golden owls.

The armor was enchanted; it would sing Christmas carols whenever someone passed by.

"Squeak..."

The wooden door to the Hospital Wing slowly opened, and the girl peeked out of the room. Her bright eyes darted around, and after confirming that no one was nearby, she cautiously went out.

"Miss Granger, this is a one-time exception, and there will be no next time."

"Okay, Madam Pomfrey, thank you, Madam Pomfrey ..."

Hermione closed the wooden door with satisfaction, turned around and went back to the Gryffindor Tower. Although she couldn't help but want to laugh, she tried to purse her lips into a thin slit.

"Hey-hey..."

"Oh, come on, you devout people..."

On the knight's armor head in the corridor, an empty helmet emitted an off-key song, which sounded somewhat comical.

As Hermione turned the corner, she bumped into a man at the top of the stairs. He was burly, wearing a thick leather jacket, and had a somewhat gloomy expression.

It is Durmstrang's Champion, Viktor Krum.

Hermione blinked and glanced behind him.

It's rare to see anyone from a fan club here. Usually, this person is always surrounded by a group of enthusiastic fans, chattering away and making a ruckus in the Library.

In someone's words, their manners were touching.

It's quiet today, though.

Krum stood in the middle of the corridor, his expression not only gloomy but also a little strange, as if he had something to say.

They probably wanted to ask for directions.

The staircase at Hogwarts is mischievous and has a wicked nature.

However, she can't speak right now; she'll wait for the fan club members to give her directions.

Hermione kept her lips tightly pressed together, nodded politely to him, turned and quickly walked past him upstairs.

"Hemien..." a deep voice came from behind.

Hermione didn't stop, taking two steps at a time to cross the stairs.

Who is Hermione?

I don't know him. Maybe he's Durmstrang's student, or a fan?

Boys' dormitory.

"One, two, three, clatter clatter..."

"One, two, three, clatter clatter..."

Neville, already dressed up, repeated his silly dance steps over and over again in front of the full-length mirror. Having lost weight, Neville had long, slender limbs, and his fitted white shirt paired with flowing, loose-fitting black trousers made him look exceptionally energetic.

Loren, Harry, and Seamus, dressed in similar shirts, sat on the edge of the bed watching intently, munching on candy from a candy gift bag. Seamus couldn't help but ask, "Neville, you've jumped really well, take a break."

"Oh, I'm worried. I'm afraid I'll step on Hannah's dress at the Yule Ball."

"You can bring the Memory Charm with you when you dance."

"Hannah will break that thing."

"Hahaha..."

Just as the group was laughing heartily, a clattering sound came from the dressing room. Ron, dressed in a light gray tuxedo, walked out and looked at them nervously. "How was it? Wasn't it hilarious?"

It looked similar to his school uniform robe, without any messy lace.

"I have to say, he looks really cool!" Harry tossed a Chocolate Frog to him. "Trust me, Ronald Weasley dressed up is just plain handsome!"

Seamus laughed and said, "That's right, be confident, you'll definitely be the Champion on the dance floor tonight."

"I can only believe half of what you say..." Ron breathed a sigh of relief, moved stiffly and awkwardly to the side to sit down, and started eating his Chocolate Frog.

Loren watched his steps, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Do you want to go practice your dance moves with Neville?"

"No need," Ron said quietly. "I've practiced enough with Lavender these past few days. If I could spend the same amount of time on studying, I think I could surpass you and Hermione in grades."

"So, you think Lavender Brown is pretty good, is that right?"

"Well, at first I didn't think she was pretty enough, but I'm not the most handsome guy either..."

"Oh, my Ronnie, his eyebrows, his eyes, his nose... even the freckles on his face are just right."

In the girls' dormitory, Lavender held her hands to her heart, her sweet and cloying tone giving her roommates goosebumps.

Parvati shook her head in disdain, then turned back to examine Hermione's front teeth, exclaiming, "How come I never noticed how beautiful you are before, Hermione? You only had your front teeth adjusted."

"They also took off those big books they always carried with them," Lavender added.

Hermione laughed happily, "I begged Madam Pomfrey for a long time before she agreed. She held up a mirror and cast a spell on me, telling me to tell her to stop when my teeth were the right size..."

"When I go home for summer vacation, my parents might complain that they think teeth and magic shouldn't be associated, and that I'm better suited to braces to correct my crooked teeth."

Lavender and Parvati didn't understand the next sentence, but they were used to not understanding Hermione's words.

Lavender patted the blanket and cheerfully urged, "Hermione, hurry up and put on your dress, we're just missing you!"

"Evening dress..."

Before the words were finished, a neat and tidy House-elf dressed in a dress suddenly appeared, holding two boxes from the Twilfitt and Tatting's in Winky hands, her voice high-pitched:

"I'm sorry, Miss Granger, Professor McGonagall doesn't allow pumpkin carriages into the Castle, so I had to deliver it to Winky."
