The first time he had seen that body, he had already examined it with the Soul Stone. There had been no emotional fluctuations whatsoever. The original soul had been completely devoured, leaving only an empty shell. It drew upon the vigorous life force of the Snake Tree to sustain itself, while the evil magic within gradually assimilated and transformed both the body and the Snake Tree.
