The guests had all arrived, and the wedding was about to begin.
It was Arthur and Molly's first time arranging a child's wedding. They had poured all their effort into it, yet there had still been a few oversights. They had invited too many guests: relatives from both sides, the newlyweds' classmates and friends, and colleagues from the Ministry of Magic and Gringotts.
Wizards from different countries and backgrounds had gathered beneath the tent.
The open-air venue inside the tent had been meticulously arranged. Carpets stretched across the ground, converging on a circular clearing at the center. Numerous elegant golden columns stood around it, while exquisite tables and chairs filled the surrounding space. The materials were precious, the carvings intricate; supposedly, they had been passed down through generations of the Weasley family.
The Weasley family was just strange like that.
Call them wealthy, and it would be a little embarrassing for a Pure-blood Family. They had not even owned their own house before; The Burrow had been built floor by floor by the couple themselves, and their children could only wear old clothes and use old textbooks at school. Call them poor, though, and they could spend several hundred Galleons on a family trip, and produce such expensive furniture for a wedding.
It was hard to say whether they simply did not care about money or were just terrible at managing it.
By then, nearly every seat at the round tables had been filled. Dressed in their finest, the wizards raised their glasses and chatted. Strange flowers and living birds trembled on the brims of their wizard hats, birds on brooches sang, ornaments in their hair glittered, and the chirping conversation drowned out the entire venue.
Loren sat beside Hermione. Harry, Ginny, Ron, and Lavender were at the same table,
