Thoughts on Going Premium

The dividing line for the author's meaningless ramblings —
Before we knew it, it was time to go on sale (just kidding).
Actually, I check the author's homepage on Qidian every day. 54 days of writing, 260,000 words.
So, I'm a complete newbie, and on a whim, I decided to write a Harry Potter fanfic.
From the beginning, I wanted to write about daily life at Hogwarts and elaborate on the plot of the original book (and it seems that's what I'm doing now).
It's still a bit different. At first, I thought I'd just let it drag on for 7 years.
Just follow the main storyline, write about daily life, and talk about sweet romance.
Later they realized it wouldn't work; Harry's seven years were anything but ordinary.
This book didn't start with an outline (and I think it still doesn't); I just had a grand ending in mind and started writing.
To be honest, I only knew the plot two hours earlier than you guys.
I originally intended to play it as a standalone game, but then editor Penglai dug it out of the trash and signed me (kowtows).
This is my first time writing a book, I have absolutely no experience, and I keep forgetting things. I can only patch up the plot holes from the beginning.
The part I'm most satisfied with so far is Chapter 36, where Loren is twirling his pen in class while Harry and Ron are watching.
Many other parts should have been written well, but the writing lacked strength, resulting in a rather flat style.
This should be the longest Harry Potter fanfic written for the first year. Other authors have skipped the first year entirely, with some finishing Quirrell's fight in just thirty chapters.
I haven't even finished writing the first grade in a hundred chapters, wow (proudly)
Let me explain the story.
Loren isn't Harry. His path intersects with Voldemort's, but Voldemort won't be the focus of the story. I'll probably need to plan things out some more.
I want to write in more detail, and I want to depict the changes in many people's personalities.
Ron's inferiority complex and Neville's cowardice were both influenced by their environment.
I want to make them better, after all, isn't that the purpose of fanfiction? (tears welling up)
And then there's Hermione. She wasn't always so confident and decisive. She would hide in the bathroom on Halloween Night and cry, too ashamed to face anyone. Even at the Triwizard Tournament Yule Ball, she still carried a hint of insecurity.
In Western culture, "nerd" is not a positive term.
Therefore, in my writing, Hermione, a first-year student, often shows a less courageous side in front of Loren. This is partly to depict Hermione's growth, and partly to highlight her deep trust in Loren, allowing her to act without reservation.
Ron's growth through Go is poorly written, even I can tell. But I wrote it anyway, wanting to portray Ron as someone who uses his talent without feeling inferior.
Harry is a protagonist who would be considered overpowered even in online novels. The Chosen One, burdened with a mission, protected by his mother's Ancient Magic powers, the Elder Wand ...
It takes seven years to go from Qi Refining to Ascension, which is truly extraordinary.
I don't want to portray them all as mere background figures to highlight Loren; like fighting a troll, everyone has their own brilliance.
I also wanted to write about the professor.
Professor McGonagall's Muggle love affair, her deceased husband
Professor Flitwick transforms from a self-conscious dwarf into a dueling champion.
Professor Trelawney's Prophecy talent, and her curse that no one will ever believe her Prophecy.
But I have too many ideas and not enough writing skills. I'll see if I get another chance.
Important note: Although the above comments have a literary feel, I guarantee there will be no angst for the main character, no random tragedies, and the story will definitely be completed!!!
That's about it, meow
