Irene's Madness (Part One)

After the Augmented Magic Power entered Kaldiz's body, the black power returned, stronger than before, and the two forces regained their balance. To avoid harming Kaldiz, Sordil carefully controlled the flow of the Augmented Magic Power to prevent a violent conflict between the two.

"Uncle Kaldiz, please suppress the power within you. I need to use some of my Augmented Magic Power to extract a wisp of your soul power."

"Okay, I'll try my best to suppress it, you need to be quick!"

Under Kaldiz's suppression, the impact of the black power weakened considerably. Taking advantage of this, Sordil diverted a small portion of his Augmented Magic Power, rushing towards Kaldiz's mind. Fortunately, Kaldiz's soul did not contain that black energy, thus Sordil's operation was successful.

However, the instant Sordil successfully extracted Kaldiz's soul power, Kaldiz, in pain, relaxed his suppression of the black power, and Sordil's Augmented Magic Power was instantly forced back. To ensure the safety of his soul power, Sordil formed all his Augmented Magic Power into a sphere, tightly enveloping Kaldiz's soul power in the innermost layer, and then retreated towards the outside of Kaldiz's body.

As the Augmented Magic Power retreated, the black power surrounded them from all sides, attempting to destroy Sordil's Augmented Magic Power within Kaldiz's body. Sordil dared not relax for a moment, concentrating all his energy on controlling the Augmented Magic Power to escape. Just then, Kaldiz, recovering from the pain, once again began to suppress the black power.

With their combined efforts, Sordil successfully transported the Augmented Magic Power orb to the surface of Kaldiz's body. At this moment, Sordil said to Kaldiz, "Uncle, release a wisp of that black power!"

Upon hearing Sordil's words, Kaldiz cautiously released a wisp of black energy. As the black energy approached the Augmented Magic Power Augmented Magic Power sphere, Sordil opened a crack in it, absorbing the black energy and combining it with Kaldiz's soul power. Then, Sordil swiftly controlled the magic sphere to fly out of Kaldiz's body and merge it into his own.

After the magic ball entered Sordil's body, he immediately withdrew the surrounding Augmented Magic Power, exposing the black energy and Kaldiz's soul power within his body. Without the resistance of the Augmented Magic Power, the black energy began to escape from Sordil's body. Just then, a stream of seven-colored energy appeared within Sordil's body.

The seven-colored energy rapidly enveloped the black energy and soul power, then began to spin at high speed. A few seconds later, the seven-colored sphere stopped, then opened, releasing a wisp of gray, unidentified energy into Sordil's body. After absorbing this power, Sordil's body began to tremble. Soon after, a memory flooded his mind, and at the same time, streams of black energy began to appear within him.

As changes occurred within Sordil's body, his appearance also began to change. His body started to emit a black light, and his dragon horns, whiskers, and size gradually transformed. Seeing Sordil changes, Metalicana and the others who had gathered around Sordil were all relieved.

"Haha! Sister Diphiya, I can now tell you with certainty that Brother Sordil is alright!"

Seeing the change in Sordil's appearance, Diphiya said with some concern, "But Sordil hasn't woken up yet, and his appearance..."

Metalicana pointed to himself and Igneel and the others, then laughed and said, "After Brother Sordil added our attributes, his physical appearance also changed, just like it is now."

With the assurances from Metalicana and the others, Diphiya finally felt relieved, but instead of leaving like the others, she patiently stayed by Sordil's side.

Royal Palace, Council Hall

"Your Majesty, Xizhalansa is requesting an audience."

"Bring him in quickly!"

"Yes!"

A moment later, Xizhalansa entered, panting. Just as he was about to bow to Irene, Her Majesty the Queen hurriedly stopped him. Then, Queen Irene anxiously asked, "How is Xizhalansa? Have Sordil and the others left Dragunov?"

Looking at the anxious and uncertain Irene, Xizhalansa was somewhat puzzled. What could have happened to make the usually calm and composed Her Majesty Irene so panicked? Seeing Xizhalansa standing there in a daze, Irene had no choice but to urge her again.

"Xizhalansa, say something!"

Coming to her senses, Xizhalansa hurriedly replied, "Your Her Majesty the Queen Prince Sordil and his entourage have not left the Kingdom of Donagunov; they are currently with Ambassador Kaldiz."

"Thank goodness you didn't leave! Thank goodness you didn't leave!"

After confirming Sordil's whereabouts, Irene finally felt relieved. She turned to Xizhalansa and said, "Xizhalansa, go to the embassy immediately and invite Sordil to the palace. Tell him I have important matters to discuss with him!"

"Your Majesty, I already said this after I found Prince Sordil. However, Princess Diphiya said that Prince Sordil is unwell and cannot come to the palace to see Your Majesty."

After Xizhalansa finished speaking, Irene shouted angrily, "What do you mean by 'unwell'? He clearly doesn't want to see me!"

Having vented her anger and regained her composure, Irene carefully recalled the events of the afternoon. After a moment, a smile crept onto her lips. Then, she whispered in Xizhalansa's ear, "Immediately send people to keep a close watch on the embassy. Whenever you see Sordil come out, do this, then this, understand?"

"Your Majesty, will this work?"

"Just do as I say, and I'll take responsibility for any problems that arise!"

Looking at the incredibly assertive Irene, Xizhalansa said helplessly, "Well... alright!"

Kaldiz's Residence

After taking twice as long as usual, Sordil finally finished digesting the Ghost Dragon's power. He now finally understood what the black energy was. This made him even more curious about the seven-colored energy that had appeared within his body earlier. After all, that energy had helped him refine the Ghost Dragon's power! However, he didn't have much time to study that mysterious power now, so this unsolved mystery would have to wait until later.

Slowly opening his eyes, Sordil was startled by the four faces pressed against his face.

"Diphiya, what are you doing?"

"Of course we're watching you!"

Upon hearing this, Sordil's heart pounded wildly. Recalling what he'd heard at the welcome banquet, his face instantly flushed crimson. Fortunately, he was in Ghost Dragon Mode, his black scales perfectly concealing his blushing cheeks, and the four beauties before him noticed nothing amiss.

Sordil quickly retreated from the danger zone, only daring to stand up once he was far enough away from the four. After feeling the powerful energy flowing within him, Sordil excitedly exhaled a breath towards the sky. A black beam of light shot out from Sordil's mouth and disappeared into the distant sky.

After Sordil exhaled, Diphiya and the others all clutched their throats, collapsing to the ground in agony. Igneel, the strongest among them, was foaming at the mouth and convulsing.
