Background and History

Alicia began life as an unnamed girl found near Vostok-51 and brought to an orphanage. The townspeople accepted and loved her; she learned to speak through stories and named herself “Alicia” after finding the name in a picture book. Her travels exposed her to both human kindness and cruelty, inspiring her wish to create a paradise bearing her name. She eventually became the Thirteenth Herrscher and a founder of the Thirteen Flame-Chasers. 165 179

Following the loss of the previous civilization, Alicia continued to exist through a Stigmata connected to Gwen. After her Stigmata manifested on his back, she awakened within his mind, granted him combat experience, and became his private confidante. Her memory of events during this early period was incomplete and interrupted by prolonged sleep. 32 33

Alicia later vanished during an attempt to synchronize with her main body. She remained in the Elysian Realm's recovery programs until Gwen's soul-based light accelerated her recovery, ending an absence described as lasting 50,000 years. 138 Her consciousness was subsequently awakened alongside the data evacuated from the Elysian Realm, and Gwen eventually constructed a body compatible with her soul, allowing her to act openly as an A-class Valkyrie. 171 213

When the Herrscher of Erosion threatened the Elysian Realm, Alicia appeared to seize control of the situation. The apparent “Erosion Rampage” was later revealed to have been a staged ordeal intended to give Little Ai—the Herrscher of Erosion—confidence and the will to survive.
