Buzhou Mountain.
The First Divine Mountain of the Primordial Wilderness, transformed from Pangu's spine, propped up heaven and anchored earth, towering in majestic grandeur.
The higher they climbed, the more terrifying the pressure left behind by Pangu became, and the denser Pangu Will grew.
Zhou Ming led Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, Xuan Ming, and Houtu, the four of them climbing upward step by step.
As he walked, Zhou Ming muttered inwardly, "Mountain Weeping... If this were modern times, this stunt would make the headlines, wouldn't it? 'Shocking! Top Great Powers of the Primordial Wilderness Join Forces to Shake Down Their Ancestor,' 'Ancestral Wu Cry Their Hearts Out Online for Treasures'..." The corner of his mouth twitched, but his face remained solemn.
The pressure here was utterly unlike the mild aura around Pangu Hall at the mountain's foot. This pressure was real—every step felt as though they were carrying a small mountain on their backs.
The farther up they went, the clearer and heavier that pressure of will became, almost tangible.
At last, on a relatively level stretch of mountainside, Zhou Ming stopped. "This is the place!"
He turned around and looked at his four younger siblings, whose faces were either bewildered or, rather, reluctant. His expression was stern, yet his eyes held a trace of encouragement.
"Are you all ready? Remember, bring out your real skills! For the Wu Clan." Before they could react, Zhou Ming dropped to his knees with a thump, clean and decisive!
The movement was impeccable, the grief on his face so tragic it seemed as if he had rehearsed it countless times.
"Father God..."
A heart-rending cry, thick with sobs, pierced the clouds!
"Father God—I've missed you, old man—!"
His voice echoed across the silent mountaintop, carrying boundless grievance and longing.
Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, Xuan Ming, and Houtu were all dumbfounded by Zhou Ming's sudden outburst.
Big Brother... he... he was really crying, and crying so... wholeheartedly.
Zhou Ming ignored them and continued his tearful lament:
"Back then, in Chaos, this boy was ignorant and clueless, swept along by the System. It was you, with eyes bright as torches, who rescued me from it and bestowed new life upon me."
"You cleaved Heaven and split Earth in Chaos—what unparalleled magnificence that was! You Stabilized Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and unfolded the myriad phenomena of the Primordial Wilderness! I thought I could remain by your side forever, listening to your teachings and learning from you how to hold up heaven and stand tall..."
"You treated me with a kindness heavier than mountains; we were as father and son! But why was it that the moment I awakened, you were already gone?"
"Wuwuwu... You left me all alone in that empty Pangu Hall, and I still had to raise these twelve younger siblings who don't understand a thing..."
As he grew emotional, Zhou Ming secretly shot Houtu and Xuan Ming a meaningful look: Cry! Hurry up! The mood is already here!
Xuan Ming and Houtu exchanged glances, both their pretty faces flushing slightly.
He wanted them to cry? And in front of Father God's Will... this... was making things far too difficult for Wu!
But seeing how immersed Big Brother was in his tears, how full of "genuine feeling" he seemed, the two gritted their teeth and stamped their feet.
For the Wu Clan!
Houtu had the kindest heart. Seeing Big Brother cry so sorrowfully, then thinking of the Wu Clan's difficult future, her eyes reddened, and tears the size of beans rolled down her cheeks. Her voice choked as she said, "Father God... we... we're really having such a hard time..."
Xuan Ming was still somewhat awkward at first, but when she saw both Zhou Ming and Houtu crying—and then caught Zhou Ming's glare, plainly saying, Cry now or I'll beat you—she could only force herself to gather her emotions.
She thought of what Big Brother had said: the Wu Clan had no Treasures, no one to rely on; in the future, they might be bullied by the Demon Race and caught in a Saint's Scheme. The more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she felt. With a wail, she began to cry too. "Father God... wuwuwu... You just left like that... what are we supposed to do...?"
This left Zhu Rong and Gong Gong completely stunned.
Even Xuan Ming, who had always been calm and steady, was crying.
The cries of the two Ancestral Wu might not have been as "professional" as Zhou Ming's, but they carried some genuine emotion, instantly making the atmosphere far more desolate.
Seeing this, Zhou Ming thought to himself, "They can be taught!" Then he cried even harder, enough to shake heaven and make ghosts weep.
"Father God! Look at these children of yours! I worked so hard to raise them—every one of them has transformed and even gained a Primordial Spirit. But what are they supposed to do in the future?"
"Look at Zhu Rong! He's a brainless, reckless brute! His temper stinks and he's stubborn as iron; he throws fists the moment a word doesn't suit him. Sooner or later, he'll be schemed to death!"
Zhu Rong: "..."
Big Brother might be crying, but why did those words sound so wrong?
"And Gong Gong—this stubborn fool is even more hopeless. One-track minded! He clings to dead principles. One day, he'll surely ram his head into this very Buzhou Mountain and die, ending up with his soul scattered and dispersed!"
Gong Gong: "..."
Big Brother, you can't curse people like that.
"And Houtu Sister—my little sister has the kindest heart, the most like you, old man. But in the future... for all the living beings of the Primordial Wilderness, even she herself will... wuwuwu..."
Houtu was already crying, but upon hearing this, grief welled up within her all the more. Her tears fell like pear blossoms in the rain. "Wuwuwu... Father God..."

"Such a vast Wu Clan, the descendants born from your old man's painstaking efforts—yet in the end, the dead will die, the scattered will scatter, and even their inheritance won't be preserved. Father God, can you bear it? If your spirit still watches from above, then have pity on us and give us a few Treasures to protect ourselves!"
Spurred on by Zhou Ming, Zhu Rong and Gong Gong could no longer hold back either.
Their minds might be straightforward, but they knew Big Brother was speaking of the Wu Clan's future. Thinking of such a miserable scene, while also feeling the lingering will of Father God, immense sorrow and fury surged into their hearts.
"Waaah—Father God!" Zhu Rong threw back his head and howled, his voice shaking the four directions.
"Father God—so unfair—" Gong Gong cried out as well, beating his chest and stamping his feet.
For a time, the summit of Buzhou Mountain was filled with cries that shook the heavens.
Seeing that the time was ripe, Zhou Ming struck while the iron was hot and began testing the waters with an offer.
"Father God, I think that Twelve-Grade Creation Green Lotus looks pretty good. It's an Innate Supreme Treasure, its defense is rock-solid, and its grade is high. It's perfect for protecting thick-skinned, tough-fleshed children like us! Why not bestow it upon us?"
The moment his words fell, a thought rang directly within Zhou Ming's mind from the unseen beyond:
"The Creation Green Lotus is tied to Fortune and should belong to the Three Pure Ones." Simple, direct, and not open to negotiation.
"What?!" Zhou Ming sprang to his feet, wiped away his tears, and stomped his foot in anger. "Father God! You're being way too biased!"
"The Three Pure Ones were transformed from your Primordial Spirit, but we were transformed from your Essence Blood! The palm and the back of the hand are both flesh—how can you favor one over the other? Boohoohoo... we're so miserable... nobody dotes on us, nobody loves us..."
The moment Zhu Rong and Gong Gong heard that the good stuff was not for them, they began shouting as well. "Father God is biased! It's not fair!"
Houtu and Xuan Ming sniffled too, their faces full of grievance as they continued to sob quietly, their eyes brimming with accusations toward this "biased parent."
Zhou Ming was possessed by the spirit of drama again, crying even more miserably than before.
"Then... then if the Twelve-Grade Creation Green Lotus won't do... something else would be fine too!"
Zhou Ming's eyes rolled as he continued his tearful plea.
"Wasn't your Jade of Creation shattered? Just give us three or five pieces, so we can comprehend the Great Dao and improve our strength a bit."
"Or the Chaos Pearl would work too. I heard that thing can create a chaos of its own and evolve a world. It would be just right as a way out for our Wu Clan—if we can't survive in the Primordial Wilderness someday, we'd at least have somewhere to stay, wouldn't we?"
"And, and! Father God, you were so fierce back then—you took down three thousand Chaos Demon Gods. Where are their treasures? Chaos Spiritual Treasures, Chaos Supreme Treasures—just pick up a few and give them to us for protection. We're not picky eaters."
"If that really won't work, the Purifying White Lotus will do too. I heard that thing is first-rate at purifying Baleful Intent; it would surely be of great benefit to our Wu Clan."
In one breath, Zhou Ming listed every ownerless top-tier treasure he could think of, looking as though he would cry himself to death right here if he was not given something.
Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, Xuan Ming, and Houtu were all dumbfounded.
Big Brother... you really dared to ask for all that? Those were all legendary Innate Supreme Treasures and Chaos Supreme Treasures.
Perhaps Zhou Ming and the others had cried too miserably. Perhaps Pangu truly had left something behind. Or perhaps it was merely Father God's instinctive favor toward the descendants of his bloodline.
Suddenly, a stream of information flooded into Zhou Ming's mind!
"Above this place, at a height of ten thousand zhang, lies one Fragment of the Jade of Creation."
"The Purifying White Lotus is located beyond the Eastern Sea, on Fangzhang or Mount Yingzhou among the Three Immortal Isles. Without the Earth Book, it cannot be found."
Zhou Ming's eyes lit up.
A Fragment of the Jade of Creation—though it was only one piece, it was a wondrous item that recorded the Three Thousand Great Daos. Even a mere fragment was an unimaginable supreme treasure!
The Purifying White Lotus! One of the Four Great Lotus Platforms. So it was on Fangzhang or Mount Yingzhou, and the Earth Book was needed to find it. No wonder no one in the Primordial Wilderness had obtained this treasure. After all, nobody had ever found Fangzhang or Mount Yingzhou. Now, at last, they had a clue!
"Thank you, Father God. You really are the one who loves us most!" Zhou Ming immediately changed his expression. Tear tracks still hung on his face, yet his smile was incomparably radiant.
Though the other four Ancestral Wu had not received the information directly, they sensed that Big Brother seemed to have gained some enormous benefit. They stopped crying and looked at Zhou Ming curiously.
Having gotten a bargain, Zhou Ming still wanted to play the innocent. His eyes shifted as he tentatively asked again, "Father God, then... is there anything else? For instance, when you cut down those three thousand Chaos Demon Gods back then, did you leave behind any Chaos Spiritual Treasures, Chaos Supreme Treasures, or something like that...?"
"Since you have already condensed Primordial Spirits, you may open the Depths of Bloodline yourselves. The inheritance marks I left behind are there. Go."
After saying that, the will communicating with Zhou Ming slowly fell silent, leaving only its vast pressure still shrouding the mountaintop.
Inheritance marks? The inheritance Pangu had left for the Ancestral Wu?
Zhou Ming froze for a moment, then an even brighter light erupted in his eyes!
This was the real prize. Treasures were certainly important, but one's own strength and potential were the foundation.
The inheritance left behind by Great God Pangu was absolutely no trifling matter.
"Alright, stop crying." Zhou Ming wiped his tears away, rose to his feet, and patted Houtu and Xuan Ming, who were still sobbing.
Zhu Rong and Gong Gong stopped their howling as well and looked at him blankly.
"Big Brother, how was it? Did Father God... give us something good?" Zhu Rong asked in a muffled voice. Two distinct tear streaks still hung on his face, though they had been cried out dry.
"Something good? It's far more than that. Come, let's first retrieve that Fragment of the Jade of Creation." Zhou Ming was invigorated as he called to the four Ancestral Wu, who were still somewhat dazed, and headed in the direction indicated by Father God's will.
