Power Progression

Background / History

Pangu was nurtured and awakened in Chaos. He says he split heaven from earth and opened the first world, the embryonic form of the Eternal Dao Realm. Worlds opened by later Dao-provers eventually merged with it 776.

During his creation of the Primordial World, Pangu refined a System that had brought Zhou Ming into Chaos. After discovering Zhou Ming's soul inside it, he placed the refined System core in Zhou Ming's true spirit. Following the Heaven-Opening feat, Pangu transformed himself into all things. He left Zhou Ming in Pangu Hall with a drop of his heart's essence blood and an inheritance of the Law of Strength 1.

Pangu's surviving will continued to protect his descendants. When Zhou Ming invoked it through the Ancestral Witches' Pangu True Body, it struck and wounded the Heavenly Dao and Hongjun. Pangu praised Zhou Ming and entrusted the Wu Clan's future to him, warning that his will could not remain in the Primordial Wilderness for long 71 72. Much later, Zhou Ming and the Ancestral Witches transferred the remaining will into the Pangu Axe 624.

Pangu later appears as an active Great Dao-realm figure in the Eternal Dao Realm. He explains the Chaos Sea's history to Zhou Ming, helps prepare for threats to the Ninth Chaos, and leads Eternal Dao Realm experts against the Abyssal Sea Divine Pivot at the Source Realm of Myriad Daos 776 795 812.

Abilities & Skills

Law of Strength

• Pangu's supreme law underlies his immense physical force. His true body's punch breaks a destruction shield and successive spatial barriers erected by three Unity Realm opponents 1 810.
• He uses it to resist soul attacks, restrict the surrounding void, and disrupt an enemy formation's energy circulation 810 816 820.

True Body and Dao Body

• Pangu can act through a Dao Body while his true body is elsewhere. His Dao Body fights Xu Yuan alongside Taiyi and Taichu, though it has a weaker foundation than his true body 810 814.
• Reuniting the Dao Body with his true body sharply increases his aura and pressure 817.

Surviving Will

• His will can merge with the Ancestral Witches' Pangu True Body and wield an axe against the Heavenly Dao and Hongjun 71 72 182.
• After its transfer into the Pangu Axe, even a remnant resonates with the thirteen Ancestral Witches and strengthens their attacks. Its power is finite and diminishes with use 624 707 708.

• Zhou Ming — Recipient of Pangu's essence blood and Law of Strength inheritance. Pangu later entrusts him with the Wu Clan and advises him as a fellow Dao-prover 1 72 775.
• The Ancestral Witches / Wu Clan — His descendants, born from his essence blood; they call him Father God and preserve his will in the Pangu Axe 1 624.
• Hongjun and the Heavenly Dao — Opponents wounded by Pangu's surviving will 72 182.
• Jiemie, Kongxuan, and Wuwang — Unity Realm opponents who attempt to hold back his true body; he later delays their return to the Source Realm of Myriad Daos 810 816.
• Xu Yuan — Abyssal Sea Divine Pivot opponent whom Pangu's Dao Body fights with Taiyi and Taichu 814.

Trivia

• Yuan Chu says he named Pangu after the outside world's first transcendental being, Pan, as part of an experiment modeled on the earlier Primordial Wilderness era. He explicitly states that Pan and Pangu are different beings 861.
• Yuan Chu identifies the “Pangu” in Zhou Ming's home-world legends as Pan's name altered through generations of retelling, not this Pangu 864.
