The Human Race possesses unusually high comprehension, though this advantage becomes pronounced only after a cultivator reaches the Supreme Realm. Human Supreme Realm cultivators are more likely to enter enlightenment and find their understanding of the Great Dao clearer than before. 670

• Human Great Thousand World — Humanity's original known homeland was initially isolated from outside contact by the world's rules. Once that protection faded, foreign Great Thousand Worlds could discover and invade it. 482 483
• Godstone protection — The Human Great Thousand World possesses a Godstone that requires Supreme Realm power and God Crystals to maintain its protection. God Crystals do not naturally exist in the Human world. 483 484

History

Great Qian Dynasty and the Lord of Witchcraft Power

Humanity once had numerous dynasties. After Lord Qiankun became a Supreme Realm cultivator, he established the Great Qian Dynasty and unified the Human Race through submission or destruction of rival states. He sought to remain humanity's sole king and killed two later Immortal Emperor geniuses who might have challenged his position. 483

Two further peerless talents eventually emerged: Zhengyi Immortal Emperor's master and the Lord of Witchcraft Power. After Lord Qiankun's fall, Zhengyi's master built the foundation of the sect-based order, while the Lord of Witchcraft Power pursued resources and God Crystals for the race. 484

The Lord of Witchcraft Power became the strongest documented Human cultivator of his era, but his prominence attracted the attention of other Great Thousand Worlds. He was ambushed and killed by geniuses from several worlds, leaving humanity without its foremost protector. 484

Foreign exploitation and the protection crisis

After Zhengyi Immortal Emperor's master was severely injured during his first expedition beyond the Human Great Thousand World, he could no longer fully empower the Godstone. He arranged for an outside Supreme Realm cultivator to provide protection in exchange for God Crystals. 484

The Insect Clan, Demon Clan, Spirit Clan, Tentacle Clan, and Beast Race later killed that protector and forced humanity into an unequal arrangement: submit to their demands or face annihilation. One condition imposed by the foreign races was the suppression of witchcraft cultivation, which they feared because of the Lord of Witchcraft Power's legacy. 485 487

When the protection period neared its end, Zhengyi and Wutian Immortal Emperors lacked the God Crystals needed to hire another protector, leaving the Human Race facing apparent destruction. 549

Song Zhong's rise

Song Zhong became the Human Race's principal protector during its crisis. The Lord of Cherished Flowers supplied power to the Human Godstone, forming a protective light screen and buying the race another period of safety. 551

The Five Great Other Clans repeatedly attempted to destroy the Human Great Thousand World, including by using the Abyssal Blade to release Demonic Creatures into it. The Lord of Cherished Flowers' intervention prevented the planned extermination. 667 668

Song Zhong eventually retaliated against the Five Great Other Clans, destroying the Great Thousand Worlds of the Insect Clan, Beast Race, Tentacle Clan, and Spirit Clan, among others, and recovering the ancestors' remains to commemorate humanity's fallen. 773

Contact with other Human Races

Human cultivators discovered that other Human Races existed in different Cosmoses. Song Zhong encountered Human cultivators from another Cosmos whose strength far exceeded that of his original Great Thousand World, including groups with multiple Forget Dao Realm experts. 826 831

The Human Race of the Eighty-One Universes welcomed Song Zhong and his people as fellow humans. Their Saints viewed the connection as an opportunity to strengthen humanity through shared resources, Dao discussions, and cultivation exchange rather than division. 866 867 868

The Cosmos Ruler suggested that both Human Races had originated in other universes, but did not disclose their full shared history. 867

Land of Reincarnation

The Human Race defeated the Cloud Clan in the final battle for the Cloud Realm. A supreme existence renamed the realm the Human World and granted humanity residence in the Land of Reincarnation. 1006

Song Zhong refused the offered divine seat, viewing divine power as a possible restraint imposed by the supreme existence. Wild War Saint instead became the Human God and reshaped the world for humanity's survival. 1007 1110

The other nine races of the Land of Reincarnation attacked soon afterward, fearing Song Zhong's potential. Although the Human Race suffered severe losses, Song Zhong's hidden avatars helped defeat the Nine Clans' gods and allied army. 1008 1032

In a later cycle, the Human Race remained the only race in its Land of Reincarnation until nine newcomer races arrived. Under Peng Xuan's leadership, humanity demanded resources in return for allowing them to remain; the Nine Clans ultimately surrendered sixty percent of their resources. 1108 1110

• Song Zhong — Humanity's foremost protector and later its ancestral leader. His victories repeatedly prevented the race's extermination, and he rejected dividing humans into “previous” and “later” groups after the Human Great Thousand Worlds united. 551 919
