The two did not go to class as they had last week. Instead, they headed to the teaching building.

They arrived on the forty-fourth floor and found the room Xu Lin had mentioned.

The door was open, and the two entered curiously.

"I thought you two were going to be late." A teacher had already been waiting inside.

"The pace of the theory lessons I give will be relatively fast. You need to adapt as best you can."

Chen An and Gu Yue Na nodded.

Teacher Wang led them to an area with a display screen.

There happened to be two chairs in that area, clearly prepared for the two of them.

The two sat down and listened as Teacher Wang explained theoretical knowledge.

His first lesson was about Soul Master's cultivation.

Teachers had covered this material in their previous classroom lessons as well, but nowhere near as thoroughly as he did.

It was simply more advanced. There were many display cabinets around the room, storing Soul Tools.

Those Soul Tools differed from one another, and every single one looked quite extraordinary.

Chen An's intuition told him that even the lowest-level Soul Tools among them were probably at least Level Eight.

"I heard from Director Xu that you already have the ability to become a Second-Level Soul Guidance Master."

"Now I want to see whether you can craft a second-level Soul Tool."

"Have you mastered any second-level Soul Guidance Arrays?" Xu Lin asked.

The Soul Guidance Arrays would be engraved along the inner curved surfaces, where the space available for engraving was incredibly limited.

Engraving arrays on them was far more difficult than on ordinary Soul Tools.

After all four long components had been engraved, they needed to be assembled together seamlessly.

They then had to be polished until they looked no different from an ordinary spear. Finally, an array had to be engraved onto the surface as well.

The spearhead required treatment similar to the shaft: arrays were first engraved inside, then onto its surface.

The Soul Guidance Arrays of the two parts also had to be connected in some way. Otherwise, their power would fail to meet expectations.

After shaping the components, Chen An carefully began engraving the Soul Guidance Arrays.

Chen An was quite familiar with the patterns of the Soul Guidance Arrays. He had drawn them many times before.

But this was his first time engraving them with Soul Power, so he was rather nervous.

His movements were extremely cautious, afraid that something might go wrong.

With Xu Lin watching beside him, he did not want to perform poorly.

Xu Lin watched quietly from the side, minimizing his presence as much as possible so as not to affect Chen An.
