Background / History

Charlotte Linlin served aboard the Rocks Pirates during the era before the Battle of God Valley. While on that crew, she defeated the bull Mink pirate Bane Saronis, made him one of her husbands, and later gave birth to Ortolan. She regarded Bane primarily as a means of expanding the Charlotte Family, while he remained devoted to her until his death. 3

By her twenties, Linlin had already begun her Charlotte Family project and had borne several children, including her eldest son Perospero at age eighteen. Her use of marriages and children to form connections eventually became a cornerstone of her political and intelligence networks. 3 10 170

Linlin established Cake Island as the center of the Big Mom Pirates.
