• Gengetsu studied Shinno’s forbidden research, gave Guy the Ninth Gate scroll, and arranged for his Shadow Clone to teach him.
• Kushina gave birth to Kugatsu, and Gengetsu defeated Jiraiya in a contest before Itachi graduated and began a dangerous Sharingan experiment.

Gengetsu and Tsunade traveled through a space-time passage to a strange world, where they encountered sealed demons, a God Tree, and unfamiliar cultivation methods. After investigating the realm and searching for the Three Great Sacred Places, they prepared to return to the Shinobi World.

• Gengetsu mastered Magnet Release through Dragon Vein Sage Art, revived Hashirama Senju with Sage Reincarnation, and continued developing his powers and training his disciples.
• Gengetsu and Tsunade passed through a space-time passage and arrived in a wilderness filled with unusually dense Natural Energy, where they encountered monstrous beasts and their shadowy source.
• Gengetsu and Tsunade captured Nara Soi and learned that the world was ruled by Onmyoji and samurai, then settled with the Nara Clan and investigated its ancient talismans and Sealing Grounds.
• Gengetsu and Tsunade found Futsushi-Trump, an Extraterrestrial Demonic Dragon King, who described the Illusionary Truth Realm and tried to tempt Tsunade with promises of power and escape.
• Gengetsu captured another celestial demon and discovered a God Tree, then removed the talismans controlling it and made the tree acknowledge him as its controller.

Gengetsu returned from a parallel world, aided Kirigakure, revived Rin, and prepared for another time-space crossing. In Kaguya’s era, he helped seal her and the Ten-Tails, took the God Tree, and completed all six energy fields within himself.

• Gengetsu returned to the Shinobi World, shared the talisman scrolls with Konoha’s leaders, and helped Kirigakure free Yagura from Akatsuki’s control.
• Gengetsu and Uchiha Shinsui fought Obito Uchiha, who escaped, while Kakashi and the others defeated Hiruko and captured the remaining attackers.
• Gengetsu completed Metal Release, revived Rin in a newly grown body, and left her in Kakashi’s care while warning Obito not to harm her.
• Gengetsu awakened his golden Rinne Sharingan, then crossed through time with Tobirama Senju and found Kaguya Otsutsuki’s God Tree under her control.

Gengetsu discovered that Void Demons threatened his world, gathered allies to fight them, and developed a Divine Dragon Dharma Aspect. After the war drew in Madara and the Demon Spring, Gengetsu defeated the Demon Spring and prepared for a future confrontation with the Garuda Celestial Demon King.

• Gengetsu found the sealed demon in the Dragon Vein chamber, learned about Void Demons, and warned the Sage of Six Paths before fighting the demons in a spacetime passage.
• Gengetsu and his allies battled Octopus Demons and other Celestial Demons, sealed several threats, and learned that the Garuda Celestial Demon King had targeted their worlds.
• Gengetsu cultivated a Divine Dragon Dharma Aspect, but Futsushi and Demon Spring tried to seize it before Ao Cang sealed Futsushi and Gengetsu trapped Demon Spring in the Yin-Yang Illusion World.
• Gengetsu returned to Konoha when Iwagakure and Akatsuki invaded, killed Ōnoki and Deidara, absorbed a fragment of Demon Spring, and used the God Tree to evolve his Heavenly Eye.
