The Major Event of a Thirteen-Year-Old's Life
The Hogwarts Express.
Aaron looked out the car window at the scenery and sighed wistfully.
"Why do you look so gloomy?" Draco asked, somewhat puzzled. "Aren't you happy that you're on vacation?"
"No," Aaron waved his hand weakly. "I'm very happy."
Draco's eye twitched slightly. He wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but he felt that Aaron was radiating an indescribable sense of dejection.
We're good friends, aren't we?
If you have any questions, please let me know and I will help you.
"Thanks, but unfortunately, you can't help me, and there's no one else who can."
"Some things I have to bear alone." Aaron shook his head with a wry smile, then opened his personal panel.
[Host: Aaron Gaius]
[Magical Energy: Body 4010, Thought Form 3990, Total 8000 (Intermediate Archmage, the pinnacle of most Warlock' careers)]
[Talent: Once in a Century (Increases Magical Energy by 3 points daily, physical constitution by 2 points, and Thought Form constitution by 1 point)]
[Items: Moon Drop (can remove any negative spells), Resurrection Potion (can revive any creature that has died within the past hour)]
[Magic Points: 3]
Last night, he struggled until the early hours of the morning before finally making up his mind. In order to deceive the senses of those ancestors, he put all the Magic Points he had painstakingly accumulated into Magical Energy.
Perhaps due to his obsessive-compulsive disorder, he rounded up both the physical body and the Thought Form to whole numbers, leaving only the last three Magic Points to support the data alone, filled with a desolate feeling.
Although he had raised his true strength to the mid-level of Archmage, the feeling of being back to square one still left him feeling lost and disillusioned.
What's even more tragic is that this method of advancement is fair, with half of the Magic Points being evenly distributed among the Thought Form.
In other words, even now, his original form might not be able to defeat his own clone.
However, Aaron was confident that as long as he could get through the Summer Holiday, widen the gap in Magic Power, and with the buffs from more than twenty tutors, he would definitely be able to defeat the Thought Form after returning to school.
Several hours later, the train slowly arrived at King's Cross Station.
Aaron stretched and then led Abei out of the private room.
He left his travel plans and holiday homework to his Thought Form, and this time he brought nothing but his pet, a Wand, and a few monsters.
"Long time no see, young master." Jeans walked over. "Didn't you bring your luggage?"
"Obviously."
Aaron shrugged and continued walking forward on his own.
He knew very well that he wouldn't have any free time from tomorrow until school started, so he had to make the most of his time to rest today.
Jeans hurriedly followed, saying with great satisfaction, "Albus Dumbledore wrote a letter home some time ago, but since the head of the household and his wife were not happy about it, I took the liberty of doing it myself."
But you won't know until you see it, and once you do, you'll be shocked.
"Young Master, you actually managed to defeat the thousand-year-old Basilisk and the sixteen-year-old Dark Lord. You've truly brought honor to the Gaius family."
"Hehe!
"I thought you were going to criticize me!" Aaron chuckled. "After all, I'm risking my life here..."
"Young Master wouldn't," Jeans said with a calm smile. "He wouldn't take the risk if he wasn't absolutely certain he could protect you."
"Young master may lose, may lose badly, but he will definitely not die."
Aaron glanced at him speechlessly, "You talk like you know me so well."
"After all, young master, I watched you grow up!"
Just then, a familiar voice appeared behind Aaron. The Mr. and Mrs. Weasley walked over with Ginny, Ron, Fred, and George.
Harry and Hermione were also standing next to the family.
"Aaron, thank you so much this time," Arthur Weasley said gratefully. "Dumbledore told us that you saved Ginny's life."
"Yes! This child is our only daughter." Molly held Ginny's hand tightly. "The thought of her almost leaving us breaks my heart."
"That's what I should do. After all, I was quite happy during those few days living in the Burrow."
This is a favor I owe Weasley; I wouldn't feel right if I didn't save her.
The Mr. and Mrs. Weasley exchanged glances, and their children also looked somewhat uneasy.
It's true that they took Aaron in, but he lived in his own tent and they paid him for his food. It was a fair deal. At most, they just took him to the station on the first day of school.
In contrast, Aaron risked his life to save Ginny, which made them feel very ashamed.
"Aaron, you the Burrow always welcome to visit the Burrow." Arthur said awkwardly but politely. "If you ever encounter any trouble in the future, you can come to me anytime. Although my position in the Ministry of Magic is relatively low, many people are still willing to give me face."
If Gaius couldn't handle the problem, Weasley definitely couldn't be relied upon either.
Although that's what he thought, Aaron didn't want to embarrass Weasley in front of everyone, so he just smiled and nodded.
"This is for you." Harry handed a piece of parchment to Aaron. "This is called a phone number, Muggle way of contacting people. If you don't know how, you can find someone to teach you."
"Uh..." Aaron was both amused and exasperated. "Our family is different from most Warlock families. We have never lost contact with the Muggle world for thousands of years."
Harry's face flushed slightly upon hearing this.
Many of his classmates looked down on Muggle, and most Pure-blood wizard despised Muggle, so he assumed that the Gaius family was the same.
"I'll take your phone number, but I'm not sure if I'll call you." Aaron said, glancing at Jeans, and sighed, "After all, my vacation is really not my own choice!"
Harry thought of Aaron being forced to run away from home by tutoring classes last year, and smiled sheepishly, "I can understand that."
"What's the meaning?"
Hermione was a little puzzled. It was possible that Harry was living under someone else's roof and had no control over his own life, but Aaron didn't seem like someone who lacked freedom at all!
"What I mean is that I'll be very busy during my vacation, extremely busy," Aaron said, "Unless something unexpected happens."
"No, not at all." Jeans patted his young master's shoulder, a playful smile mixed with a hint of seriousness, and said in a deep voice, "We'll bet our dignity for the rest of our lives that we will never fall twice in the same place."
Aaron scoffed at this. He was still at Hogwarts, and from the moment he said those words, his dignity, along with that of his six bodyguards, was effectively severed.
After passing through the partition wall of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters, everyone went home.
Aaron didn't waste any time on the road and led Jeans to a secluded alley. "Use Apparition take me back!"
"Young Master, there's no need to be in such a hurry."
"Heh! School starts tomorrow." Aaron emphasized the words "school starts" and said coldly, "If I don't take a good rest today, I'll be in poor condition and might even fall behind in my studies. Do you think my teachers will be happy about that?"
Jeans' lips twitched, and he helplessly grabbed Aaron's arm, while Aaron lifted one of Abei's paws.
The next moment, the two people and the dragon were swept into the spatial vortex and disappeared from the spot instantly.
When they reappeared, they were already in the main hall of Gaius Castle.
"It feels pretty good." Aaron commented objectively and honestly. Jeans's Apparition was a bit worse than his, but still much better than the average person.
"Young Master's talent far surpasses mine; it's only a matter of time before he learns this magic."
I already knew it, you just didn't know it.
Aaron chuckled inwardly, but nodded confidently on the surface, "When will my mother be back?"
"This..." Jeans hesitated for a moment, "My wife and I have some things to take care of at home, so it will be at least a month from now."
"I knew it." Aaron shook his head, rubbing his forehead, and said speechlessly, "Uncle Jeans, I suddenly feel like I'm lacking love."
I've spent less than two months with them in the past few years. Am I even their biological child?
"Without a doubt, yes." Jeans said with a serious expression, "And if I may be so bold, young master, your thinking is a bit pessimistic. Although your mother is not by your side, there are still more than twenty ancestors who care about you at all times. How many people in the Warlock world can enjoy such treatment?"
Aaron:...
I really want to give a thumbs up to your negative energy.
"Is this supposed to be comforting me?" Aaron said, on the verge of tears. "More than twenty tutoring classes! Whose childhood can withstand such torment?"
Could you have handled it when you were thirteen?
"No," Jeans said blankly, then changed the subject, "But you, young master, definitely can. You proved that when you were twelve."
Moreover, being guided by more than twenty great Warlock is something most people can only dream of in their entire lives. For both personal and practical reasons, young master, you should seize this opportunity."
Aaron's eye twitched slightly. So, does that mean I'm unaware of how lucky I am?
Seeing the young master's bewildered expression but rising anger, Jeans immediately decided to change the subject, otherwise he would definitely be met with a barrage of insults.
"Well, young master, you're not young anymore."
"I'm only thirteen," Aaron said, pursing his lips.
"Of course I know. What I mean is, does the young master have a girl he likes at school?"
Upon hearing this, Aaron's eyes flashed with doubt, and he asked with surprise and uncertainty, "Why are you asking this?"
"This is what Madam asked me to ask," Jeans explained. "After she learned that you risked your life to save a girl, she... imagined a lot of things, and even couldn't wait to go to the Weasley family to see what her future daughter-in-law looked like."
Wortefa!
Aaron's face turned red, and he almost slid off the sofa.
"Are you kidding me?"
Aaron was thunderstruck; he had never imagined his the Mother could be so unreliable.
This kind of person should be able to make their own decisions, right? Why be so hasty?
Moreover, he had absolutely no romantic feelings for Ginny; at most, they were just ordinary friends.
"Young Master, please don't get agitated," Jeans teased. "The maid stopped her in time, so the situation hasn't escalated yet."
Upon hearing this, Aaron breathed a sigh of relief, thinking about the Weasley family ' attitude towards him at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. "My dad still loves me; he's always so rational."
"However, they also reached a consensus on some things, such as finding you a fiancée, and Miss Ginny is on the Reserve List."
They'll be back in about a month, so you'd better be prepared.
Aaron:...
I'm tired. Let's destroy it!
