Torikaze staged Konoha’s Nian Beast festival, then turned to a rebellion in Rain Province while helping Amado grow closer to An'hua. The mission gathered Konoha’s ninja, and Nawaki returned home, where Torikaze intervened when Tsunade attacked him.

• Torikaze secretly projected the Nian Beast onto Konoha’s Back Mountain, then led the villagers and allied ninja in driving it away with fireworks and the Fire Bamboo Technique.
• At the New Year’s gathering, Torikaze approved plans for bicycle and range hood factories, while Amado’s interest in An'hua became apparent.
• Torikaze learned that Rōnin were organizing in Rain Province and ordered Kakuzu and Konoha’s ninja to protect the province and suppress the rebellion.
• Torikaze sent Minato, Yahiko, and Konan toward Rain Province, while he helped Amado and An'hua spend time together and saw off the Tsuchikage, Kazekage, and Mifune.
• Torikaze set a minimum group size for ninja traveling to Rain Province, and Minato formed a group with Kushina, Yahiko, and Konan.
• Nawaki returned without finding Hayama Senju, decided to stop searching, and agreed to join Minato’s group before settling down.
• Tsunade rushed to confront Nawaki at the Cloud Clan Grounds and attacked him, so Torikaze shielded him with Crystal until the fight ended.

Nawaki returned to Konoha and chose to settle down, while Torikaze sent Jiraiya and the young ninja to Rain Province to clear rōnin camps. The mission proceeded without major losses as Minato advanced in his senjutsu training, but Yan’s role remained unresolved.

• Nawaki returned to the Senju Clan Grounds, reunited with Hashirama and Mito, and decided to remain in Konoha rather than leave for Rain Province.
• Torikaze encouraged Amado to pursue An'hua, and the two shared a hotpot meal as their relationship began to develop.
• Torikaze sent Jiraiya, Minato, Yahiko, and Konan to Rain Province, where they joined Konoha forces preparing to clear rōnin camps.
• Jiraiya’s group crossed Rain Province, met Torikaze’s clone in Central City, and received Cloud Orbs and lodging before beginning their mission.
• Torikaze told Mamiko and the Uchiha that Rain Province remained stable, while reports showed ninja from several countries clearing rōnin camps without major losses and Yan still unidentified.
• Jiraiya’s team eliminated more than twenty camps on their first day, then trained as Minato made progress absorbing Natural Energy under Jiraiya’s watch.

Jiraiya’s team and reinforcements from Konoha, Sunagakure, and Iwagakure fought the Kage-level enemies and cleared camps across Rain Province. After the fighting eased, Yahiko and Konan said goodbye to Kaien as the allied forces began to leave Central City.

• Jiraiya led Minato, Yahiko, Konan, and Kushina in clearing rōnin camps before Torikaze and Kakuzu warned that enhanced Kage-level enemies had appeared near the Rain Country border.
• Torikaze called for help from Konoha, Sunagakure, and Iwagakure, and Tsunade arrived with Chisato and other Konoha ninja to heal the wounded.
• Chisato defeated a Kage-level fighter, then joined Jiraiya to battle four coordinated Kage-level enemies, killing three while their leader escaped.
• Tsunade saved Black Wolf, and Kushina grew exhausted as she reflected on the war’s deaths and the suffering around her.
• Torikaze hosted Jiraiya’s team for dinner, and Jiraiya asked to remain in Rain Province so Minato could continue learning Senjutsu.
• Torikaze returned to Konoha after leaving Clones to protect Chisato and manage Central City, while Yahiko and Konan visited Kaien before he departed with the Land of Iron convoy.
• Minato continued Senjutsu training as Konoha ninja returned home and Iwagakure and Sunagakure teams continued their missions in Rain Province.

Torikaze uncovered Yan and Hanzo’s scheme, joined forces with the Kazekage and Ōnoki to defeat them, and returned to Central City. The victory led to plans for shared aquaculture development, while Minato made progress in Sage Mode training.

• Torikaze learned that Yan planned to capture him for her Lord and that Hanzo had helped her use Rain Country citizens as bait.
• After completing the first mission, Torikaze gathered the Kazekage and Ōnoki and used sensory ninjutsu to find Yan and Hanzo underground.
• The three Kage confronted Hanzo, and Torikaze defeated him by encasing him in Crystal while Yan continued absorbing chakra from an altar.
• Yan emerged in a blazing form and fought Torikaze, who entered Sage Mode as the Kazekage and Ōnoki supported him against her clones.
• Torikaze and Yan unleashed their ultimate attacks, causing a massive explosion, but Torikaze escaped through the Leaf Mark and confirmed Yan was dead.
• Torikaze proposed turning the battle crater into an aquaculture lake, and the Kazekage and Ōnoki agreed to fund a joint project.
• Torikaze announced the victory in Central City, rewarded the mission forces, and joined the Kage-level ninja at a banquet.
