Yan defeated the Netherworld Master, created a divine kingdom, and helped bring about the God Realm’s collapse amid the Time-Space Turbulence. After returning to Douluo Continent, he prepared for the Abyss and then traveled to the Jin Yuan Continent to pursue strength in the Mad God Universe.

• Yan joined forces with the Elves and allied armies to destroy Crimson Blood Hell, then defeated Fen Tian and sealed the Netherworld Master’s passage.
• Yan entered Netherworld Space, killed the Netherworld Master with Flame’s help, absorbed its origin, and returned with a divine ninth spirit ring.
• Yan reshaped the land between the continents into a new continent and created a divine kingdom that became his God Position.
• Yan presented his method of godhood to the God Realm, but the God Kings rejected his proposal to transform their realm.
• The Silver Dragon King and Yan unleashed the Time-Space Turbulence, and the Gold Dragon King broke free and helped tear part of the God Realm away.
• Yan warned the God Realm’s five giants that they would be trapped for at least ten thousand years, then returned to Douluo Continent with the Silver Dragon King.

Yan entered Tiandu Academy, grew closer to Zi Xue, Jin Lili, and Zi Yan, and helped Lei Xiang rise through the student ranks before the war drew them into conflict with the Fallen Angels. After capturing Mo Yue and traveling to the Orc Empire, Yan sought the Necromancer lineage and confronted the Shadowmage over a wounded necromancer.

• Yan entered Tiandu Academy, passed its entrance examination, and secretly evaded the standing test while Lei Xiang endured it.
• Yan found the Mad God Art in the academy library, mastered its first layer, and later recognized Lei Xiang’s use of its battle aura.
• Yan grew close to Zi Xue and Jin Lili, spent the night with Jin Lili, and kissed Zi Yan after defeating her in a training-ground duel.
• Lei Xiang won the first-year tournament but lost to Riva, then transformed into a Blood Angel after massacring soldiers outside Kui Si City.
• Yan used his power to keep Zi Yan out of the academy’s battlefield mission, then went with the students to Skrull Fortress and rescued them from a Fallen Angel attack.
• Yan pursued Mo Yue into Demon territory and captured her, then intervened when Fallen Angels fought Lei Xiang, Gu Feng, and Gu Yun, defeating Lei Xiang and securing a promise of three lives owed.
• Yan and Mo Yue traveled through a Bear-Orc settlement, where Yan destroyed a necromancer’s undead, then continued to the Orc Empire seeking the Necromancer lineage.
• At the Orc Imperial Palace, Yan confronted the Shadowmage, demanded his secret scrolls, and ordered him to find and kill the wounded advanced necromancer whose corpse Yan had brought.

Yan helped Lei Xiang inherit Tiomandis’s power, then joined him in finding the Mad God Helmet on another continent. The helmet completed Lei Xiang’s transformation while Yan broke through to the second-level deity realm, leaving the Fanri Heavenly Dragon hoping they could free it.

• Yan and Mo Yue returned to Dragon City, where Yan reunited with Zi Yan and Zi Xue before investigating the Mad God inheritance on White Smoke Mountain.
• Lei Xiang inherited Tiomandis’s armor and power, while Yan defeated the Dragon Knights and gave Tian Yun his brother Tian Lu’s relic.
• Lei Xiang tried to promote peace among the empires, but Gabriel attacked the alliance gathering and nearly killed him.
• Yan and the Dragon Knights helped defeat Gabriel, while Lucifer wounded him and later took the shattered Lei Xiang away for treatment.
• Yan interrupted Sophia’s attempt to awaken Zi Yan’s divine power, then helped Lucifer restore Lei Xiang and joined him in seeking the Mad God Helmet.
• On the Xi Rui Continent, Lei Xiang defeated Xing Bing, and Rong Ruo led him and Yan into the passage where the Fanri Heavenly Dragon guarded the helmet.
• Yan explained how Lei Xiang’s inheritance could help free the imprisoned Dragon God, and the Fanri Heavenly Dragon sent them the Mad God Helmet.
• Lei Xiang donned the helmet and completed his transformation as Yan absorbed the Essence of Fire and advanced to the second-level deity realm.

Yan reached the God King realm, exposed Sophia and Gabriel’s past, and brought the Heaven and Netherworld conflict to an end under the Creator God’s judgment. Back in the Douluo Universe, he began arranging for the Abyss Plane to invade so its power could help create a New God Realm, leaving the northern battlefield on the verge of escalation.

• Yan escaped the Soul-Devouring Abyss’s illusions, destroyed Devouring Emptiness, and reached the God King realm after meeting the Creator God.
• Yan discovered that Lei Xiang and Fanri Heavenly Dragon had united divine beasts and Wingless Deities, then joined their forces against the Heaven Realm.
• Yan defeated the archangels and forced Sophia to confess her history with Gabriel, while Lei Xiang battered Gabriel.
• The Creator God restored Tiomandis and Phil Yunna, condemned Sophia, Gabriel, and Hades, and sent them to reincarnate as mortals.
• Yan returned to the Douluo Universe and explained to Na'er that he planned to merge the Abyss Plane and Scarlet Domain with the Douluo Continent Plane.
• Monsters poured from a passage near Slaughter City, and Xue Ke ordered the northern forbidden zone sealed as Hu Liena explained Spirit Hall had allowed the passage to open.
• Yan told Hu Liena to oversee the invasion, control the Abyssal energy’s spread, and use the conflict to help the Douluo Continent ascend toward a New God Realm.
• Xie Yue and Tuo Ba Hong patrolled the Abyss passage as it suddenly rippled beneath them.
