Ch. 741Pressing the Attack After Victory

Siren Jiezena’s warriors decisively defeated a Faceless force, then Roy agreed to support another raid with the Priests’ Blessing Divine Magic. After a day spent searching, Jiezena found and defeated a second Faceless battle group, and the Sirens continued their advance into the Western Sea.

  • Jiezena killed the Faceless Officer, and the Siren Warriors overwhelmed nearly a thousand Faceless Warriors with almost no deaths.
  • Roy’s crew recovered nearly a thousand Black Magic Cores from the dissolving corpses as the Sirens withdrew to a deserted island to rest.
  • Jiezena told Tiffany she wanted to strike again, and Tiffany brought her plan to Roy.
  • Roy secured Commander Flint’s agreement to have the Priests bless the Siren Warriors for another raid the following afternoon.
  • Jiezena led the recovered Sirens deeper into the Western Sea, where they found a second Faceless battle group on the third day.
  • Jiezena and Tiffany fought alongside the Sirens as they defeated the second group, then pressed farther into the Western Sea.

Ch. 742Moira's Solo Journey

Jiezena’s successful raids gave the Sirens hope of defeating the Dark Faceless Ones, and Roy planned to spread armor production to other Siren Legions. Meanwhile, Moira set out alone to find Roy and arrived in the Pattington Plane, where her armor drew attention.

  • Jiezena led the Siren Assault Team through five raids, destroying five Faceless Warrior battlegroups before escaping to Sun Island Bay with few losses.
  • Roy counted the recovered Black Magic Cores, thanked Jiezena, and proposed contacting other Siren Legions and equipping their warriors with Ring-Style Siren Armor.
  • After waiting at home for Roy, Moira followed Ms. Jillian’s advice and traveled alone toward the Pattington Plane.
  • Moira heard rumors that the Silver Moon Elf Elder Council might abandon the Pattington Plane and dismantle its Teleportation Portal.
  • Moira reached Pattington Island, watched Dwarven Artisans refit ships, saw Miss Christine on the beach, and waited until midnight to enter the Pattington Plane.
  • Moira emerged in the crowded square wearing Spike-tailed Crystal Lion Leather Armor, attracting the attention of the Elves around her.

Ch. 743Longing

Moira traveled through Padesto City to board a Magic Airship bound for Sun Island Bay, using her Mine Guard Regiment nameplate to gain access despite the route being closed to ordinary passengers. As the airship rose over the plateau, she admired the view and longed to share it with Roy.

  • Moira met Christine, who told her a Magic Airship carrying supplies would depart for Sun Island Bay that afternoon.
  • Moira learned that regular routes to Sun Island Bay were closed, but the ticket clerk let her enter after seeing her Assassin Battle Group nameplate.
  • A porter recognized Moira as a Mine Guard Regiment warrior, and she was allowed aboard the airship after the captain verified her identity.
  • Moira rested in a private cabin and ate the fruit and tea provided by the crew.
  • The Magic Airship lifted off from Padesto City, and Moira watched the forest city and plateau recede below her.
  • Moira admired the Nikoba Mountain Range and thought of Roy, wishing she could share the view with him.

Ch. 744The Situation Has Changed

Jiezena demonstrated how to kill the Dark Faceless Warriors and planned a larger Siren raid, while Roy hurried back to the North Coast harbor after receiving word of a letter from Earl Swynborne. There, he reunited with Moira and learned that the letter concerned the future of the Pattington Plane.

  • Jiezena taught the Siren Warriors to target the Faceless Warriors’ tentacle roots, then led them in killing the two captured creatures and bolstering their confidence.
  • Miss Tiffany told Roy that Jiezena planned a second raid with three thousand Siren Warriors and needed six Magic Airships; Roy agreed to provide them.
  • Little Eugene reported that a newly modified Magic Airship and a personal letter from Earl Swynborne had arrived, and Roy learned that Moira was waiting at the harbor.
  • Roy flew to the North Coast harbor and reunited with Moira, who had come to find him after he missed her graduation ceremony.
  • Commander Malthus delivered Earl Swynborne’s letter and warned Roy that it concerned the fate of the Pattington Plane and that the situation was serious.

Ch. 745Earl Swynborne's Letter

Roy learned from Earl Swynborne’s letter that the Elven Council had voted to abandon the Pattington Plane, threatening the Half-Elves’ new lives there. As Roy spent the evening with Moira and Sabrina, Sabrina broke through the level nineteen bottleneck and advanced to the Second Rank.

  • Commander Malthus departed on his Silver Pegasus after Roy showed him a route back to Padesto City.
  • Roy opened Earl Swynborne’s letter and learned that the council had approved abandoning the Pattington Plane, cutting off military supplies and planning an evacuation and severed portal.
  • Roy joined Moira and Sabrina at the beach, where Moira enjoyed a swim and Roy promised to take her to see Tiffany the next day.
  • The Night Blade Leopard startled Moira, then fled behind Roy when Sabrina’s powerful aura frightened it.
  • Sabrina’s sword-like aura grew stronger, and Roy realized she had advanced from a First Rank Sword Dancer to the Second Rank.

Ch. 746The Beginning of the Air Raid Sea Battle

Sabrina broke through to the Second Rank and began to grasp the Law of Power. The expedition against the Faceless Legion set out from Sun Island Bay, and Roy chose North Fjord as the Siren Assault Team’s next battlefield.

  • Sabrina reached the Second Rank as a Sword Poet, and Roy ordered Kaka and little Eugene to keep others away while she comprehended the Law of Power.
  • Sabrina demonstrated her newfound strength to Roy and Moira, then went to rest with Moira while Roy fell asleep and a Night Blade Leopard hid beneath his bed.
  • Jiezena led three thousand Siren Warriors out of Sun Island Bay alongside six Magic Airships carrying Roy, Moira, Jerome, Miss Tiffany, and three hundred priests, escorted by six hundred Griffon Cavalry riders.
  • When Faceless Warriors appeared around the expedition, Jiezena had the Siren Warriors board the Magic Airships, which rose into the Wind Stream Layer.
  • Jiezena refused to return immediately to Sun Island Bay, and Roy proposed deploying the Siren Assault Team at North Fjord, where narrow passages and nearby mountain ridges would help limit the enemy’s numbers.

Ch. 747Encounter

The Siren Assault Team returned to North Fjord and fought through the Faceless Warriors guarding its entrance and waterways. As Jiezena led them toward Alcheza’s burial place, a Faceless Overlord sent a huge wave rushing at them, and Miss Tiffany prepared an ancient Magic Scroll.

  • Three thousand Siren Warriors descended from the Magic Airships and attacked the Faceless Warriors at North Fjord’s entrance.
  • Sosa was caught by a Faceless Warrior but helped kill it before joining the battle again.
  • Jiezena’s assault team defeated the defenders, secured the entrance, and advanced into the waterways, killing several hundred more Faceless Warriors.
  • A huge wave and a Faceless Overlord charged toward the Siren Warriors, while Roy ordered the airships to sound the alarm and lower their rope ladders.
  • Jiezena summoned her Siren Phantom to meet the wave, the Siren Warriors swam toward the stone walls, and Miss Tiffany unfurled an ancient Magic Scroll that brought icy wind and snow.

Ch. 748Battle of North Fjord, Part 1

Roy and the Holy Knight Order fought the Faceless Overlord as it attacked the six Magic Airships in the North Fjord. Roy joined the Priests’ exorcism, and sacred fire began melting the monster’s tentacles, but the battle was still underway.

  • Miss Tiffany summoned an Ice Elemental that raised a massive Ice Wall across the channel, but the Faceless Overlord broke through it and swallowed Jiezena.
  • The Faceless Overlord revealed that the Magic Airships were its target, wrapping its tentacles around them and blasting Magic Airship Seven with a water column.
  • Roy used the Hammer of Judgment to wound the tentacle attacking his ship and drove back its Darkness Qi with holy light.
  • Jerome and fifty Priests prayed together, weakening the Faceless Overlord’s tentacle with an exorcism spell as the monster tore apart Magic Airship Thirteen.
  • Captain Rodehart ordered the sailors to bring out the Magic Crystal Arrows while Roy continued chanting and the Sacred Tree appeared behind him.
  • A powerful holy aura erupted, and sacred fire began melting the Faceless Overlord’s tentacles.

Ch. 749Battle of North Fjord, Part 2

Magic Airship No. 3 and the other vessels fought free of the Faceless Overlord’s tentacles as Jiezena emerged from one and petrified half its head. Roy struck the stone with the Hammer of Judgment while Jiezena carried him away, and Sabrina arrived to deliver a powerful sword strike against the weakened monster.

  • Magic Airship Thirteen and the Priests aboard the other vessels attacked and purified the Faceless Overlord’s tentacles, allowing Magic Airship No. 3 to break free.
  • Jiezena cut her way out of a tentacle, summoned her Siren Phantom, and petrified half of the Faceless Overlord’s head with a beam from her eyes.
  • Roy asked Tiffany for help, used her Water Magic bubble to descend onto the Faceless Overlord, and brought the Hammer of Judgment down on its petrified head.
  • Jiezena recovered enough to grab Roy and leap into the channel as the Faceless Overlord’s tentacles attacked.
  • Sabrina arrived on a White Griffon, summoned her elven swordsman phantom, and prepared a massive strike against the immobilized Faceless Overlord.

Ch. 750751 Loot

Roy and the fleet defeated the Faceless Overlord and destroyed the Shadow Demon emerging from its corpse, while the Holy Light Tree helped Roy comprehend the law of holy light and advance into a Combat Priest. The victory cost the fleet three Magic Airships, and Roy ended the chapter assessing repairs and the value of the recovered loot.

  • Sabrina split the Faceless Overlord's head with her sword, but Roy noticed Darkness Qi gathering and used the Purification Art to expose the Shadow Demon inside its body.
  • Jiezena charged the emerging Shadow Demon as the Priests aboard the six Magic Airships and Jerome struck it with holy light, burning it away.
  • The Holy Light Tree absorbed the Darkness Qi and transformed it into Holy Light Power, allowing Roy to comprehend the law of holy light and advance to become a Combat Priest.
  • Jiezena gave Roy a black magic core, then led the Siren Warriors onward to hunt down fleeing Faceless Warriors.
  • Roy assessed the fleet's damage and casualties, arranged repairs and replacements, and had Magic Airship Thirteen beached and dismantled for its equipment.
  • The Siren Warriors recovered more than a thousand Black Magic Cores and a large piece of magic hide from the Faceless Overlord, which Roy hoped would be valuable.

Ch. 751Sea Beast Priest Observation Delegation

Roy consolidated his new Second Rank powers while Siren Jiezena cleared North Fjord and Atias recruited allied Sea Beast Priests. The chapter ended with Jiezena’s armored Siren Warriors effortlessly defeating a Faceless reconnaissance squad before the watching priests.

  • Roy explained that his Second Rank power of Darkness Conversion let him turn Darkness Qi into Holy Light Power and briefly transform his Holy Light Tree into a War Ancient Tree.
  • Atias recounted how a Faceless Overlord had killed his father, then agreed to contact his father’s allies and show them that the Faceless Warriors could be defeated.
  • Jiezena’s forces cleared North Fjord, collected over 3,700 Black Magic Cores, and received four new Magic Airships.
  • Atias brought allied Sea Beast Priests from the Star Sea Islands to observe the Siren Assault Team.
  • Jiezena led nearly thirty Ring-Style Siren Armor-clad Warriors in wiping out a twenty-six-member Faceless reconnaissance squad.

Ch. 752Boss Roy's Business

Roy traded Ring-Style Siren Armor to the Sea Beast Priests for Black Magic Cores, establishing a cautious first business deal with them. After collecting the payment, he ordered the fleet back to Sun Island, while the Sirens hoped to return to the fight after resting.

  • Jiezena introduced Roy to the Sea Beast Priests, who learned she had once followed Latimore and that he had died several years earlier.
  • Roy offered the Sea Beast Priests Ring-Style Siren Armor at five Black Magic Cores per set, and Taize Xike agreed to take a batch for battlefield testing.
  • Taize Xike paid Roy with a large pile of Black Magic Cores, and Roy’s guards counted 6,139 cores in total.
  • Roy ordered the Magic Airships to depart North Fjord, while Jiezena told the Sirens they would rest at Sun Island before fighting the Faceless Warriors again.
  • The seven Magic Airships returned to Sun Island in just over half a day.

Ch. 753North Coast Camp

Roy prepared a new Siren Assault Team campaign across the Western Sea while Moira chose to join the fight to improve herself. The chapter ended with Roy laying out the route and safety rules for Jiezena’s upcoming ten-day operation.

  • Lia said goodbye to Ailis and returned to the Assassin Battle Group camp, where Moira greeted her as a fellow student of Captain Tennyson.
  • Moira asked Captain Tennyson how to prepare for Second Rank and later told Roy she wanted to join Jiezena’s Siren Assault Team.
  • Roy agreed to let Moira join as long as she followed Captain Tennyson’s orders, and he arranged for twelve Magic Airships to escort the sirens.
  • Roy explained that the Magic Airships’ lower decks were being converted into swimming pools for the siren warriors.
  • Jiezena pressed Roy to send the assault team into battle, and Roy set their departure for the next day with a route through Luanxing Sea and instructions to retreat from dangerous fights.

Ch. 754Turmoil

Roy returned to Padesto City amid the Silver Moon Elves’ evacuation from the Pattington Plane and learned that supplies were being blocked and the city was becoming unstable. He and General Berkeley arrived at Central Square, where Silver Moon Elves were leaving through the Teleportation Portal and the Half-Elves watched anxiously.

  • A shipment of two thousand Ring-Style Siren Armor sets arrived at Sun Island, and Roy ordered the Forging Workshop to focus on producing the armor.
  • Roy traveled to Padesto City and learned from the coachman and Leishande that Silver Moon Elf enforcers had blocked supplies to Pattington Island and the elves were preparing to withdraw.
  • Leishande told Roy that Silver Moon Elf merchants were leaving Padesto City, while worsening public security had forced the Half-Elf City Defense Regiment to maintain order.
  • Roy visited the Silver Pegasus Military Department and found General Berkeley preparing to address unrest among the Half-Elves as the Silver Moon Elves departed.
  • Roy and General Berkeley reached Central Square, where Silver Moon Elves were passing through the Teleportation Portal as Half-Elves watched and whispered.

Ch. 755Speeches

Roy addressed the panicked half-elves in Padesto City, explained the Dark Faceless One Legion’s advance, and urged them to remain calm as he chose to stay on the Pattington Plane. As Roy headed through the portal to meet Earl Swynborne, Miss Christine challenged the High Elven Council of Elders’ officials over their supply ban and evacuation order.

  • Half-elves crowded around Roy and Berkeley in Central Square, demanding to know whether the Dark Legion had invaded and whether they had to flee.
  • Roy explained that the Dark Faceless One Legion was fighting the sirens at sea, argued that the immediate danger to land was limited, and announced that he would stay on the Pattington Plane.
  • Roy warned against crime and profiteering, promised to discuss the portal’s possible closure with the Seventeenth Silver Pegasus Legion, and reassured residents that they could choose whether to stay or leave.
  • The half-elves applauded Roy, and some Silver Moon Elf merchants reconsidered leaving Padesto City as Roy went to the portal to travel to the Empress Ivini Islands and meet Earl Swynborne.
  • Miss Christine protested to two High Elven Council of Elders officials in Pattington Town, arguing that banning supplies would violate the rights of the 1.5 million elves living on the plane.

Ch. 756Madam Nancy

Roy learned from Madam Nancy that the Silver Moon Elves planned to close the Pattington Plane’s Teleportation Portal to reduce the Half-Elf population, and that Earl Swynborne might be involved in the scheme. Nancy showed Roy a possible site outside Silver Moon Elf territory where he could preserve a portal, leaving him to pursue the plan with a Space Mage.

  • Santos told Christine that Half-Elves who failed to evacuate Pattington would be left behind, and argued that the Silver Moon Elf Kingdom did not need so many Half-Elves.
  • Roy left the town square without Christine noticing him and went to visit Madam Nancy before traveling to the Empress Ivini Islands.
  • Nancy told Roy that the portal’s closure had been decided months earlier and warned him that Swynborne might be the mastermind and that no one was truly on Roy’s side.
  • Nancy explained that the Silver Moon Elves intended to reduce the Half-Elf population to preserve their bloodline’s share of the kingdom’s population.
  • Nancy gave Roy a map of uninhabited Kui Island, where he could build a portal outside Silver Moon Elf territory, and Roy said he could obtain a Space Mage’s help.

Ch. 757Meeting

Roy traveled to the Empress Ivini Islands and learned that the elves would withdraw from the Pattington Plane and close its Teleportation Portal, leaving the Mine Guard Regiment isolated. He vowed to stay with the regiment, then sought Grems in Wopeye City for help moving the portal, but Grems said the task required Opeiya and Lord Jonas.

  • Roy showed Madam Nancy Abbott’s detailed sea chart and heard her suspicion that Gray Dwarf Bandits were hiding on an island near the Empress Ivini Islands.
  • Roy met Earl Swynborne, who confirmed that the Seventeenth Silver Pegasus Legion would withdraw and the Pattington Plane’s Teleportation Portal would be sealed in three months.
  • Roy told Swynborne that the Mine Guard Regiment would remain on the Pattington Plane and secured two weeks to hunt Gray Dwarf Bandits and obtain prisoners.
  • Roy left Queen Island, traveled to Wopeye City, and sought Grems to ask for help moving the Teleportation Portal to another island.
  • Grems told Roy that he needed Opeiya and her teacher, Lord Jonas, to move the portal because he was not a Space Mage.

Ch. 758Opeiya's Troubles

Opeiya grew tired of the attention of her admirers and rejected Talis when he brought her flowers. Roy and Great Mage Greimus came to the Astrologer's Guild to discuss moving the Teleportation Portal to Kui Island, where Roy planned to drive out the Gray Dwarf Bandits, and Opeiya was delighted to see Roy.

  • Opeiya tossed away Talis's flowers and challenged him with a question about creating a stable magical space within Dimensional Space.
  • Talis accused Opeiya of acting differently since returning from Gorfito and stormed off.
  • Roy told Great Mage Greimus that he planned to seize Kui Island from the Gray Dwarf Bandits and establish a foothold for Half-Elves there.
  • Greimus brought Roy to the Astrologer's Guild to consult Magister Opeiya about Space Magic.
  • Roy greeted Opeiya, who brightened and asked why he and Greims had come.

Ch. 759Roy, the Love Rival

Roy asked Magister Jonas to relocate the Pattington Plane’s Teleportation Portal to Kui Island after learning the Silver Moon Elf Elder Council planned to close the existing portal. Jonas agreed and assigned Opeiya and Grems to help prepare, while Roy arranged to capture the island; the chapter ended with Tarike declaring himself Roy’s rival in love over Opeiya.

  • Opeiya welcomed Roy and Grems at the Astrologer’s Guild and brought them to see Magister Jonas.
  • Roy asked Jonas to move the Pattington portal to Kui Island, and she agreed after Opeiya explained that the Elder Council planned to close the existing portal because of Dark Faceless One Legion activity.
  • Jonas projected a map of Kui Island, warned Roy about its volcanic instability, and assigned Opeiya to research its eruption history and help prepare the relocation.
  • Roy, Grems, and Opeiya planned an assault on Kui Island with ten Magic Airships and five thousand Half-Elf Warriors, intending to capture the Gray Dwarf Bandits and take them to Pattington to mine.
  • Tarike confronted Roy on the terrace, called himself Roy’s rival in love over Opeiya, and urged him to back down; Roy mocked Tarike’s age and left the lounge.

Ch. 760Moving the Teleportation Portal

Roy traveled with Opeiya and Grems from Castleton City to Pattington Island as the portal’s closure stranded Half-Elves and threatened to separate the two regions. At Padesto, Opeiya took control of the portal and began preparations to relocate its enormous gate.

  • Roy and Grems joined Opeiya on a journey through Castleton City to Pattington Island, where Roy said his Mine Guard Regiment would remain after the portal closed.
  • Aboard the Tuna Fish, Opeiya told Roy that the Silver Moon Elves had helped drive Half-Elves to the Pattington Plane, and she kissed him before returning to her cabin.
  • Roy inspected the unfinished Magic Airship modifications and met Half-Elves stranded on Pattington Island because the portal no longer allowed people in.
  • Opeiya claimed authority to inspect Pattington Island’s portal, changed its transmission direction, and warned the local officials not to use it.
  • At Padesto’s Central Square, Opeiya began testing the huge portal’s parameters in preparation for relocating it.
