Small Fishing Village Case

Leng Jiuming brought Bai Xu and Gu Yue to investigate a Spirit Transmitter's murder and the suspected appearance of an Evil Soul Master. The culprit had engineered Zhang Wa's descent toward an Evil Spirit, controlled the Village Chief, and attempted to hunt Zhang Wa's transformed soul-beast mother for a one-hundred-thousand-year soul ring. Bai Xu injured the six-ring Soul Emperor with Spirit Strangulation, after which Leng Jiuming captured and crippled him. 8 9 10

Star Luo Massacre and White Tiger City Hall

Chou Zhiyi and his followers massacred a remote town to generate death qi for his breakthrough. Bai Xu and Na'er escaped the initial assault, tracked a surviving operative through Soul Search, and uncovered the White Tiger City Evil Soul Master hall. 56 57 65 67

Bai Xu sealed the hall within the Heaven and Earth Five Directions Five Elements Formation, killed dozens of Evil Soul Masters—including multiple Soul Emperors—and defeated Chou Zhiyi. The captured enemies revealed that ordinary people were being held for experiments ordered by a Titled Douluo. 68

Yan Jie's Pursuit
