As former members of the Adri Squad, Beruk and the others had always been very close to Adri's family and often came by to visit. But having everyone gathered here tonight gave off an unusual feeling.
"Huh? What are you uncles discussing so late at night?" Selyne's eyes darted about as she ran over to the female Saiyan named Lize, pressing her little face close to Lize's.
Adri and the others exchanged glances, their expressions grim. Selyne frowned, a thoughtful gleam flashing in her eyes.
"Selyne, go back to your room first. Chaya, stay," Adri instructed.
"Okay." Seeing that there was no place for her in this discussion, Selyne pouted at Chaya before obediently running back to her room.
With a snap, the door shut, and the living room sank back into an eerie silence. Several people sat around a coffee table, yet not one of them spoke.
"What happened?" Chaya asked with a smile.
Adri sighed. "Didn't you say before that Frieza had installed listening devices in our Scouters? So we took advantage of a mission to go investigate..."
"And?"
Chaya remained calm, but his heart stirred. He already knew the answer. The Adri Squad had gathered here this time to discuss a response.
Sure enough, Adri nodded heavily. "We really did find a listening device in the Scouters!"
At that moment, the male Saiyan named Paradi suddenly slammed his fist onto the table. With a bang, a dent immediately appeared in the alloy tabletop.
Paradi said angrily, "If Adri hadn't taken us to verify it, we wouldn't have known that Frieza, that bastard, had been monitoring every move the Saiyans made."
"That shows he never had good intentions toward the Saiyans!" Alice glanced at Paradi, disgust flashing across her face. Naturally, she was referring to Frieza, the one the Saiyans served.
Adri nodded. "That isn't what worries me most. Although Frieza is suspicious of us Saiyans, he probably won't act immediately. But the problem now is that if every move the Saiyans make is truly under his control, then he must also be fully aware that King Vegeta intends to rebel."
"Sigh, now we're in real trouble." Lize shrugged helplessly.
With one side prepared and the other caught unaware, King Vegeta was bound to lose this time!
"What is even harder to accept is that aside from King Vegeta's faction preparing to rebel, the vast majority of Saiyans trust Frieza deeply. Some even worship his power. Even if we spread this news now, not many would believe it. And doing so might directly intensify the conflict between the Saiyans and Frieza, leaving us trapped with no way forward or back."
Beruk's expression was cold, but he had laid out the harsh reality. Publicly revealing the news was definitely not an option; it might directly prompt Frieza to move against the Saiyans.
"But if Frieza knows everything about the Saiyans, even that King Vegeta is preparing to rebel... why hasn't he done anything? Isn't he afraid of the power the Saiyans could gather?" Rebecca asked in confusion.
That was right. Frieza clearly knew the Saiyans would rebel, so why had he remained completely unmoved?
Was he really waiting until the Saiyans launched their rebellion before acting? Was it so he would have justification and would not dishearten the aliens under his command?
No!
With Frieza's vicious and tyrannical nature, how could he possibly care about the feelings of such ants?
Adri and the others shook their heads. They had once seen Frieza from afar during a mission. Those cold, bloodthirsty, indifferent eyes had been like sharp blades piercing their souls, leaving an extremely deep impression on them. Frieza was absolutely a mad and cruel man!
"Perhaps he has absolute power, enough to leave him without fear," Alice said seriously, leaning against the wall.
"Because of the Ginyu Force?"
Everyone thought of Frieza's most powerful asset. The Ginyu Force's strength was beyond doubt. They were even stronger than the Saiyans and renowned throughout the universe.
"Do you know exactly how high Frieza's battle power is?"
Chaya suddenly spoke in a light tone.
Everyone froze for a moment. Of course they knew Frieza was strong. How could anyone called the Emperor of the Universe lack real strength? But no one could say exactly how strong he was, because no one had ever seen Frieza fight. Or rather, everyone who had seen him fight was already dead.
Just how strong was Frieza?
It was a massive shadow hanging over everyone's heads. If they had not even figured out how strong their opponent was, then resistance was out of the question.
"Chaya, do you know something?"
Adri looked over. His instincts told him that Chaya might know something. Coupled with the fact that Chaya had been the first to raise the issue of the listening devices, he was ninety percent certain.
"Yes, I know a little about Frieza's strength. His power is absolutely beyond your imagination. But before that, Uncle Adri, I have a question. How much do you know about Frieza's trump card unit—the Ginyu Force?"
Adri shook his head. "I've never seen the Ginyu Force's actual strength, but I heard that every member has at least 10,000 battle power."
The Ginyu Force was an elite special unit Frieza had selected from the finest warriors in the universe. Every member possessed unique abilities and immense strength.
In the civilizations of the universe, 10,000 battle power was already an extraordinary level of strength.
Even among the Saiyan race, there were only a few whose battle power exceeded 10,000. Every one of them was a super warrior tempered through countless battles. They were a vital foundation of the Saiyans' dominance across the cosmos and their formidable reputation. Other than when attacking high-level planets, they rarely left Planet Vegeta.
Looking across the vast starry sky,
one would find that the overall strength of the universe remained relatively low. There were not as many high-level planets as one might imagine, and lifeforms with battle power exceeding 5,000 were already quite rare. They were generally beings capable of ruling a planet.
Many planets did not even have a single strong fighter with battle power above 1,000. Such planets were undoubtedly at the very bottom of the universe.
In the original story, when Vegeta first arrived on Earth, his battle power was only a little over 18,000. Yet by then, he could already roam the universe with few opponents. Although certain places in the depths of the universe might conceal one mighty figure after another, any one of whom could emerge and destroy heaven and earth,
there was no denying that the overall strength of the universe's civilizations remained relatively low.
The Ginyu Force followed an elite approach, with only five members, and each possessed unique abilities that could not be overlooked. The Saiyans ranked in the upper-middle tier of the Milky Way and were feared even in the North Galaxy, but compared to the Ginyu Force, they still fell short.
As Frieza's trump card, the Ginyu Force possessed power enough to look down upon all others!
"Never mind the other members of the Ginyu Force. Their captain alone, Ginyu, has reached the astonishing battle power of 120,000!"
Chaya did not speak loudly, but those casually delivered words instantly stunned Adri and the others.
"My god, 120,000 battle power? Chaya, are you sure you didn't get it wrong? How could he have such high battle power? King Vegeta only has a little over 10,000, and even after transforming into a Giant Ape, he still has less than 100,000!"
Lize stared at him with wide eyes, her face filled with disbelief.
120,000 battle power!
What kind of terrifying power was that? With only a few thousand battle power themselves, it was a level of strength they did not even dare imagine. How could such a monster exist in the universe? If Captain Ginyu truly possessed such high battle power as Chaya claimed, then he stood far above every Saiyan.
At that level, numbers no longer held any meaning. With a wave of his hand, he could wipe out all life on an entire planet. With the Saiyans' meager strength, they were no match for him at all.
