Selecting personnel was a meticulous and serious matter. First, they had to be rational enough to see the current situation clearly and not leak the news before everyone had been evacuated.

Second, these people had to stay out of King Vegeta's sight as much as possible.

This immediately ruled out most Elite Warriors and Saiyans with exceptional talent. Among one million Saiyans, Mid-Class Warriors accounted for less than one percent, and every one of them was an extremely valuable resource.

The ground immediately trembled. An orange-red mushroom cloud suddenly rose on the distant horizon, huge and blazing, like a bright sun appearing out of nowhere and instantly illuminating dozens of kilometers around it.

Whoosh, whoosh. The energy carried by the shockwave swept across the land. The first to bear the brunt were the towering mountains rising from the ground. The soil, hard as steel in the cold wind, instantly crumbled before the highly penetrating shockwave. Massive boulders collapsed and rolled down, each weighing several tons.

Within the dim, unclear field of vision, two blurred figures flew at high speed. One was large and one was small. They constantly shifted positions and attacked each other, vanishing and reappearing without warning. They fought from the sky to the ground, then from the ground back into the sky.

Every clash between them unleashed shockwaves powerful enough to destroy heaven and earth.

Crash! A vast expanse of dark-blue energy tore through the air, carving bright, beautiful trails across the sky.

"Hahaha, this feels amazing! It's been so long since I had such a satisfying battle."

The older man's battle suit was already in tatters, and blood-red wounds covered his skin. Though he was battered all over, there was not the slightest trace of pain on his face. Instead, the exhilarating battle had left him in high spirits.

The younger figure was clearly in better shape, though he still looked rather disheveled.

"Uncle Adri, you're still as formidable as ever. Hehe, battle really is the best form of training!" Chaya's face was flushed, and the blood in his body raced as though it were boiling.

"Hahaha, naturally! I, Adri, am still young. But if you hadn't suppressed your battle power, I probably would've been defeated after only a few moves."

Adri laughed heartily. The large movement tugged at the wounds on his body, causing a dull ache, but he paid it no mind.

"Here!" Chaya tossed him a Senzu Bean.

Adri casually caught the Senzu Bean and put it into his mouth. With a crunch, crunch, he chewed and swallowed it. Instantly, a surge of vitality coursed through his body. The wounds on Adri's body healed completely, and his spirit returned to its peak condition.

"This tiny bean is truly miraculous. I can barely bring myself to use it."

Adri felt a pang of regret. Using such a precious Senzu Bean for such minor injuries was simply too wasteful.

Chaya laughed. "Isn't using Senzu Beans during training exactly what they're for? So, Uncle Adri, how much has your battle power increased?"

Adri clenched his fists and felt the abundant strength within him. Smiling in satisfaction, he grinned and said, "It's almost 8,800 now. Hehe, I've gained over two hundred battle power in just ten days. I wouldn't even have dared dream of that before."

Chaya smiled. Indeed, the Saiyans' previous training methods had mostly relied on the most foolish and primitive methods, so the results were naturally poor.

Now, combined with the training methods Chaya had taught him, Adri's accumulated foundation had erupted all at once, allowing him to make such tremendous progress in just ten days. However, Chaya knew it was temporary. Once Adri had exhausted that reserve, his rate of growth would slow again.
