Tang San's early cultivation centered on Blue Silver Grass under Yu Xiaogang. When Xiao Wu was taken by the Titan Giant Ape, he desperately sought Wu Qi's assistance, even kneeling and offering lifelong service. Unable to pursue the forest ruler directly, he accepted Wu Qi's proposal to first obtain a third Soul Ring from a Thorny Devil Vine. 46

He later learned more of his lineage through Titan, Tang Hao, Tang Yuehua, and Tang Xiao.
