As soon as Veratia entered the Common Room, the dozen or so Slytherin students stood up in unison.

A hint of amusement flashed in Veratia's eyes. She merely glanced at the Slytherin students and continued walking toward her dormitory.

"Stop, Grindelwald," the girl in the lead shouted.

She is Sylvia Melville, a seventh-year student in Slytherin.

"Excuse me, is there anything I can help you with?" Veratia asked softly.

She reached back and smoothed her hair, deliberately striking a pose of an innocent and naive female Academic Bully.

"You should know," Sylvia said sternly, "That Slytherin students are not allowed to dine at the long tables of other houses. You're too close to Gryffindor, Grindelwald."

"I didn't know there were such rules in the school," Veratia said softly, pursing her lips.

Seeing Veratia's expression, Sylvia and the others became even more certain that the "Grindelwald" in front of them had absolutely no relation to the Grindelwald from the Europe continent.

In fact, they had sent a letter home and, after making inquiries from various sources, confirmed that the Grindelwald family indeed had no descendants named "Verathea"—in fact, the Grindelwald family had died out.

"Then we should teach you this rule, Grindelwald." Sylvia snorted. "Remember, you are bringing shame upon Slytherin, Grindelwald. You even chatted amiably with Gryffindor Mudblood... Do you have even a shred of pride as Pure-blood?"

"Oh," Veratia simply replied with an "oh," then turned to Sylvia and asked, "Is there anything else?"

"You're being a bit arrogant, Grindelwald!" Byron Miller shouted.

Veratia smiled slightly and looked at him, asking, "Arrogance? I don't think so. I just believe I should have the freedom to make friends, don't you think?"

"You're Slytherin, I don't need to remind you," Sylvia stopped Byron. "Your every word and action represents Slytherin House, and I don't want to see you mixing with those Mudblood!"

"This is my freedom." Veratia timidly hugged the book in her arms and took a step back.

Anna Bletchley, a classmate, stepped forward and reached out to pull the book from Veratia's arms.

"The History of Industrial Technology?"

Anna frowned, opened the book, and after a while, threw it aside with a look of disgust.

"You're really depraved, Grindelwald, to be reading Muggle books."

"This is none of your business, miss," Veratia said, her head bowed.

"But what follows concerns me." Anna took out her wand and pointed it at Veratia: "It seems you really need to be taught a lesson. Not only do you associate with Mudblood, but you even read Muggle books. Your existence is a disgrace to Slytherin."

"Rectumsepra (Rictumsempra)!" she chanted the spell.

The spell hit Veratia, but was bounced back.

Anna, her mouth agape, wailed, "You bastard, what have you done to me?!"

Seeing Anna's Charms bounce back, Sylvia scoffed, "You should really work on your Charms skills, Anna. You can't even handle a transfer student..."

After saying that, she gestured to the person next to her to make a move.

"Is this what you consider Pure-blood honor?" Veratia's voice was soft. "Tell me, Sylvia Melville, is this the quality you think Slytherin should have? Don't you think you're really..."

Sylvia looked up and met Veratia's disdainful gaze.

"What kind of look is that?" Sylvia exclaimed angrily. "How dare you look at me like that..."

"Excuse me, Miss Melville," Veratia interrupted Sylvia, "I don't see you that way. I see all of you—in my bluntness, you are all trash."

As soon as he finished speaking, an enraged Byron unleashed a purple Charms.

"Is that all?" A flash of light appeared before Veratia, blocking Byron's Charms. Then she raised her hand and pointed at Byron: "Avada Kedavra!"

A dark green spell flew out and struck Byron with lightning speed.

Upon hearing the incantation, some people immediately slipped out to report to Dean Severus Professor Snape.

The conflict has clearly escalated; we must bring the professor in to resolve it...

Byron felt a chill run from his tailbone straight up to the top of his head.

No way, who the hell is this guy?

We just wanted to teach you a lesson? Why did you raise your hand to Avada Kedavra?

You want to take my life, fine, but where's your wand?

Yours is so big, where's the wand?

Before he could finish thinking, he felt the person next to him suddenly raise a magic wand at him.

"Damn it! Titus!" Byron cursed viciously. "What are you doing? Don't point your wand at me! Damn it!"

However, Titus didn't give him a chance to think at all, and with a wave of his hand, he cast a red Charms.

Byron rolled to the side with force, thus avoiding being struck by the Charms.

Not only Byron, but also Sylvia and others discovered that the people around them had suddenly betrayed them and started using Charms to kill each other.

But they couldn't stop them. No matter what they said, the other party seemed to be bewitched and remained unmoved.

Veratia was already sitting in a chair in the Common Room, watching the Slytherin students kill each other with amusement.

Standing beside her was Miss Farley, who looked worried and seemed hesitant to speak several times.

"Miss Grindelwald, using the Unforgivable Curse at school means you'll be sent to Azkaban," Miss Farley said worriedly.

Veratia remained in her usual demure, ladylike posture, her hands folded in her lap. Hearing Miss Farley's words, she simply smiled and said, "It's not Imperius Curse. You're worrying too much, Miss Farley."

"Then... then what are they?" Miss Farley still couldn't believe it.

"It's just a group Confundus Charm," Veratia said softly. "It's just some advanced understanding of Confundus Charm. If you can study Confundus Charm more deeply, you might have the opportunity to access this level of knowledge."

"Oh... oh." Miss Farley nodded like a silly goose.

No, is this Confundus Charm?

She was still screaming in her heart like a groundhog, but on the surface she had to maintain a calm and composed demeanor.

Oh my god, Confundus Charm...

Or perhaps it's just a momentary mass Confundus Charm...

"I think you're definitely not Grindelwald. You must be Grindelwald's sister!" Miss Farley thought to herself, cursing under her breath.

It should be said that she did guess correctly by sheer luck.

"But what about that Killing Curse just now..." Miss Farley asked with some concern.

"Oh, that's just another application of Lumos... Look." Veratia reached for Miss Farley's wand and pointed it to the ceiling. "Lumos!"

A normal-sized ball of light shot from the tip of the wand and struck the ceiling.

"You see, like this... if you think of green, like this..."

As Veratia spoke, a ghostly green light emanated from the tip of Miss Farley's wand.

"Look," Veratia said softly, "Doesn't this look like one of those Charms? And now, paired with that incantation... Avada Kedavra!"

Miss Farley let out a mournful cry.

My dear sister...

You're using my magic wand right now!

What if the professors use the Flashback Charm to find my wand? How should I explain that?

Oh, sorry, Professor, I just accidentally used that Charms. I didn't mean to...

Do you think the professors will believe it?

"Try the Flashback Charm," Veratia said at the right moment. A flash of light appeared from the Shield Charm charm beside her, and then a figure appeared out of nowhere, Stunning Spell and striking the person who cast the Charms.

Miss Farley hesitated before taking the wand, her hand trembling as she cast the Flashback Charm.

She breathed a sigh of relief.

It is indeed Lumos...

"My goodness, you are a genius!" Miss Farley exclaimed sincerely.

Veratia chuckled softly, "It's just some sweat, nothing to brag about, Miss Farley— "

After saying that, she looked up. The dispute over there had ended. A dozen or so classmates had bruises on their faces, some with boils on their faces, some with their mouths wide open, and some covered in pimples. They looked disgusting.

"Looks like it's over."

She chuckled softly and walked over to Sylvia, who was panting heavily.

"I remember you just said you were going to teach me a lesson?" Veratia asked gently. "It seems our lesson is going quite well, but I'm not tired yet... Perhaps we should continue today's lesson?"

Sylvia shook her head frantically; she was terrified of this terrifying transfer student.

No, sis...

If you're so amazing, why were you pretending to be such an innocent and naive girl just now?

She now understood that Miss Grindelwald was just pretending to be innocent to lure them in.

"Your surname is Melville, isn't it?" Veratia said softly. "That surname... I remember it. Do you know why your family can still maintain its prestige and so-called Pure-blood pride?"

Sylvia shook her head rapidly.

"Your great-grandfather... ah, I should say your great-grandfather's grandfather, was named Grandis Melville," Veratia said with a slight smile, beginning the operation of the weapon box. "It was 1859, a snowy night. Your great-grandfather was poor and destitute, but he still had a handsome face—do you know how he eventually restored your family's glory?"

Sylvia thought of a possibility, but she shook her head repeatedly.

She couldn't believe that her great-grandfather was that kind of person...

"Oh, he seduced an old Muggle noblewoman, I should say—a duchess, and became her 'adopted son,' but then he shamelessly seduced the duchess's daughter, which led to your great-grandfather, Randall Melville."

When Veratia was tearing down Melville's underwear, her eyes gleamed with excitement.

This was also one of her few hobbies at the time—she liked to collect gossip and interesting tidbits.

Of course, I heard about the Melville family from my aunt.

The court loves to spread these kinds of gossip, especially gossip about a duchess's family.

As everyone knows, the palace is a place where rumors from all directions converge.

She listened to it as a bit of fun at the time, but she never expected that it would come in handy at this moment.

"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Sylvia was on the verge of collapse. "My great-grandfather couldn't have..."

"Oh, really?" Veratia said softly. "Why don't you ask about his portrait when you get home? I think he'll tell you about his glorious past, Miss Melville... or rather, Mudblood Half-blood?"

Having said that, she ignored the already devastated Sylvia and moved on to the next person.

"Byron Miller, right?" Veratia said with a smile. "Oh... I do remember, your great-grandfather, Marcus Miller, right?"

Byron swallowed hard; to him, Veratia's smile was nothing short of a devil's smile.

He stammered, "Could it be... could it be that my great-grandfather also married an old Muggle noblewoman?"

"Oh, no," Veratia said regretfully. "If that were the case, things would be better—he was hanging out with some big Muggle guy, and he was his child prostitute."

Upon hearing this explosive news, Byron felt as if the sky had fallen. He instinctively jumped up and shouted, "Impossible! Absolutely impossible! You're making this up to fool us! Good heavens, evil Grindelwald..."

Veratia smiled and said, "I'm just telling you the facts. As for their veracity, go home and ask your ancestors' portraits—as a Pure-blood family, you surely don't even have portraits of your ancestors, do you?"

Byron was speechless.

"And you, Titus Mitcham..."

Veratia began to dissect the identities of each opponent's ancestors one by one, breaking down each person's defenses precisely and equally.

Every family has its share of troubles. Even the Malfoy family had an ancestor who proposed to the Muggle Queen.

The Slytherin students now lay on the floor, staring at the ceiling with expressions of utter despair.

Being crushed by someone in terms of Charms is a minor matter—but having your ancestral deeds dug up, and with such detail and evidence, is something you have to be very careful about.

Fortunately, they finally found their savior.

"Miss Grindelwald?" Snape's voice rang out from the doorway. "What are you doing?"

He flew like a big bat to Veratia's side.

"I heard you used the Unforgivable Curse at school?" Snape asked coldly.

"It's just Confundus Charm, Professor," Veratia said calmly. "You can ask Miss Farley, the Prefect."

Snape didn't speak, but turned his gaze to Phally.

Phally nodded and said, "Miss Grindelwald is telling the truth; she certainly didn't use the Unforgivable Curse..."

"You're lying!" Byron suddenly roared, "You cast Unforgivable Curse on me..."

Without saying a word, Veratia raised her wand and a beam of green light struck Byron's body.

Snape quickly drew his wand, but after finding that Byron was unharmed, he silently put the wand back in his hand.

"It should be said that you are like toads sitting in a well, unable to see what the sky outside is really like."

Veratia waved her wand, and a red chain of lightning flashed, sending more than a dozen wands flying into her hand.

Snape's pupils contracted.

Are all transfer students these days this amazing?!

"Come with me, Miss Grindelwald." Snape snorted and turned to leave.

Veratia threw the dozen or so wands into Miss Farley's arms.

"Keep them safe, Miss Farley," Veratia said softly. "I don't want anyone taking a wand before I get back... If you've figured out how to be good Slytherin, then go to Miss Farley for your wands when that time comes—provided your resolve is strong enough to move her."

With that, she turned and left the Slytherin Common Room, leaving the group standing there staring at each other in bewilderment.

What should we do?

Professor Snape walked ahead, with Veratia following behind. She had thought Snape was going to take her to his office, but to her surprise, Snape walked briskly and led her all the way to the Headmaster's Office on the Seventh Floor.

"Honeydukes!" he said expressionlessly to the Waterspout Gargoyle.

The Waterspout Gargoyle made way for two people to enter the Headmaster's Office.

Headmaster Dumbledore was playing with Fawkes in his Headmaster's Office. When he saw Veratia enter, Fawkes chirped and fluttered his wings to come to Veratia's side.

"Fiona is with Harry," she said.

Fawkes then shouted unhappily and returned to stand on the bird stand.

"Dumbledore!" Snape burst into the Headmaster's Office, immediately launching into a tirade. His face was expressionless, and his greasy, greasy, and sarcastic tone was chilling. "You should know the consequences of admitting someone with the name Grindelwald into the school—just tonight! Your transfer student used the Avada Kedavra on a student... I really wish your honey-soaked brain could still think about what this means."

Dumbledore's next words left Snape completely stunned.

"Is it true, Senior Grindelwald?"

"Senior?" Snape's pupils contracted again and again, but as an excellent master of Occlumency, he controlled his facial expression very well.

"Yes, Miss Grindelwald entered Hogwarts in 1891—though she was a fifth year," Phineas's voice came from the portrait frame. "She was six years older than Albus ... It's been a long time, Miss Grindelwald."

"Hello, Headmaster Black," Veratia smiled modestly, "It's a pleasure to meet you..."

"Alright, enough with the pleasantries. I don't believe you'll be happy to see me!" Headmaster Black said angrily. "Good heavens, even you've picked up this glib tongue!"

"I certainly wouldn't be happy to see you still alive, Headmaster Black," Veratia said with a polite bow.

Upon hearing this, Headmaster Black immediately laughed, "Okay, I knew it... Alright then."

"You see," Dumbledore the opportune moment, "Severus, sometimes people do need to be open to new things and information... but I'm more inclined to believe that my senior sister simply used some harmless little Charms to scare them, isn't that right?"

"Yes, Professor," Veratia nodded and smiled, "But it was indeed they who provoked me first, claiming that my association with the ' Mudblood ' was a smear campaign against Slytherin."

"Expel her!" Phineas roared at the portrait, but when Veratia looked at him, he quickly added, "I mean expel all the Slytherin students! Good heavens, they're really bringing shame to my beloved Slytherin House!"

"That kind of thinking is indeed wrong. Perhaps you're right, Senior Grindelwald." Dumbledore pulled out a jar of Honeydukes. "Would you like some sweets?"

"No, Professor," Veratia sighed softly, "I've heard that only those who can't taste the sweetness of life pursue sweetness in such a way..."

Dumbledore immediately lost his smile.

But he still smiled and said, "That's why we should be more positive and optimistic, isn't it?"

"Yes," Veratia said softly, glancing at Snape before changing the subject, "Like that witch I used to know... or rather, my student, Lily Evans ..."

Professor Snape had been rebuffed and was about to turn and leave, but upon hearing this name, his face twitched twice, and he decided not to leave.

"You know her?" Dumbledore.

Although I don't know what the senior student meant, it's always okay to go along with what she said.

"Of course I know her, back when I was just a portrait," Veratia said sadly. "I remember her; she came to the Map Chamber when I was fifteen and we met... She confided many things to me, including a male classmate named Severus."

Snape stared at Veratia expressionlessly, his fists clenched so tightly that the knuckles of his fingers turned white from the force.

"Oh?"

Dumbledore's wicked sense of humor kicked in; as long as the trouble didn't involve him, he was happy to play along with his senior's act.

He glanced at Snape, who was listening intently, then looked at Veratia: "Why don't you tell me their story? Ah... you should know, Lily is also one of my favorite students; she's a really nice girl."

"Yes," Veratia sighed. "I still remember when she first met me, her smile seemed to radiate sunshine... I remember back then, the person she talked about most was Severus."

"Really? There's such a thing?" Dumbledore picked up the sugar jar, peeled off the sugar coating, and threw it into his mouth.

His eyes, however, were fixed intently on Veratia, as if afraid of missing any details.

"Yes, you can tell that Lily cherished their friendship back then," Veratia said softly. "It's just a pity... that boy, like the Slytherin now, only saw the so-called ' Pure-blood,' and even rejected her, calling her a 'stinking Mudblood.'"

"This was also the direct cause of the end of their friendship. I remember that day, Lily cried for a long time in the Map Chamber, and the three professors and I tried to comfort her, but we couldn't make her feel better."

Veratia glanced at Snape almost imperceptibly as she finished speaking.

Snape, still with that look that said someone owed him hundreds of thousands of Galleon, stared blankly ahead.

She continued, "I remember she kept asking me why this happened. They had been friends since childhood, so why would she be treated like that just because of the so-called Pure-blood ideology? She was really upset and couldn't understand it..."

"But she couldn't tell anyone any of this—because everyone was waiting to see her make a fool of herself, to see her abandon the House's prejudices and walk with a Slytherin boy, just waiting for the moment she'd embarrass herself." Veratia whispered, "You know, Professor, that Severus invented a lot of evil curses, and his classmates even used them on Lily's friend, Mary Macmillan, right? That's her name, on her, and Marlene McKinnon... I remember all those names."

"That Severus never knew how much pressure Lily endured to maintain this friendship. Everyone questioned her, everyone wondered why she was friends with that Slytherin Severus, but she still went ahead without hesitation—until she was ruthlessly hurt by her friend, who ripped out her sincere heart and stabbed it several times—"

"Enough!" Snape suddenly growled in a low voice.

"Hmm?" Veratia suddenly turned her head and asked deliberately, "What's wrong with you, Professor Snape? Do you also know that bastard Severus? Good heavens—if you know him, please pass on a message for me— Lily and I have been wanting to kick his fat face a couple of times for a long time."

"Snape You probably don't know, Grindelwald," Dumbledore suddenly said from behind, "This Professor Snape in front of you is Severus Severus from the story, Lily Evans's good friend."

"So that's how it is..." Veratia pretended to suddenly understand. She quickly took a few steps to the side, shook her head, and said, "It seems that you haven't changed after all these years. You are indeed as Lily described you."

"What do you mean?" Dumbledore winked playfully.

"I don't wash my hair," Veratia said succinctly. "But Lily isn't a superficial woman. Have you ever seen her distance herself from you because of your poor personal appearance? Hasn't she always considered you her best friend? And what about you, Professor? How did you repay her? Call her Mudblood?"

Snape stood there, seemingly lost in some painful memory.

"I didn't expect you to know so much, senior." Dumbledore looked on with a gossipy expression. In fact, even he, as Lily and Snape's professor, didn't know so much inside information.

Veratia chuckled and said, "Lily is my student, you know. Ever since she started fifth grade, she's developed a habit of going out at night, you should know that, right?"

Dumbledore recalled for a moment, then nodded and said to Veratia, "That's right. I remember Minerva telling me about it, but she wasn't angry at the time; in fact, she was quite happy."

"Why?" Veratia asked, puzzled.

Dumbledore chuckled and said, "Gryffindor doesn't go out at night is incomplete—oh, but you mustn't get caught by Minerva, she's a strict professor who never shows mercy to students who go out at night."

"Then why did you say she was happy?" Veratia still didn't quite understand.

"Pleasure and punishment are not mutually exclusive, senior," Dumbledore said with a smile, but then added, "Although Lily is also your student, Severus..."

"What's wrong?" Veratia asked.

"It's nothing." Dumbledore picked up a piece of candy and handed it to Veratia. "He deserves it, senior."

It took Snape quite a while to snap out of his reverie.

"Excuse me, Miss Grindelwald," Snape said, turning around. "I have some personal matters to attend to. If you don't mind, please return to the Common Room."

With that, Snape stormed out of the Headmaster's Office without a trace.

"How should I describe him?" Veratia's expression and feelings were incredibly complicated. "My God, I can't believe Lily has a friend like this, and that she's been able to put up with him for so long..."

"Perhaps that's why Lily didn't choose him in the end?" Dumbledore said with a smile.

"No," Veratia said, "Lily once told me that she didn't dislike Severus's personality, but she just couldn't accept that her longtime friend looked down on her from the bottom of her heart."

Dumbledore's eyes flickered, but he didn't speak.

"You might think of it this way, Professor," Veratia said softly, "Like Gellert —if you knew that Gellert has always looked down on you, even secretly thinking you're just an England bumpkin..."

Dumbledore paused for a moment as he reached for the candy, then grabbed a handful from the candy jar.

"Right?" Veratia smiled, seeing that her junior seemed a little unhappy about the speculation, so she told him what happened in the Care of Magical Creatures today.

Dumbledore's beard trembled with laughter; he truly hadn't expected Gellert to suffer such a humiliating defeat in the Care of Magical Creatures.

No one could have imagined that his classmates would discuss in front of him who was stronger, him or Voldemort —even comparing Voldemort's loss to the baby to his loss to the Niffler.

Regardless, the ever-proud Grindelwald would never tolerate the fact that people said he lost to the Niffler...

But he had no way to retaliate or refute, which was even more unacceptable to him than being imprisoned in Nurmengard.

Especially for naive children, such innocent mockery is the most cunning and makes people wary.

"Oh, right," Veratia added, "Harry gave him the nickname ' Niffler-Gellert,' and we're all very happy with it."

"And what about Gellert?" Dumbledore asked.

Veratia recalled Gellert's expression at the time.

"Gellert... Gellert has no objections either."

Dumbledore stroked his beard and laughed again. After a while, his expression suddenly turned serious.

"However... senior, I have a question I want to ask you."

"Go ahead," Veratia said softly.

Dumbledore's Half-moon Spectacles flashed.

"I want to ask you, what exactly is your attitude towards Harry?"
