Grindelwald the Loser
Wipe your back?
Harry was wide awake immediately.
However, he maintained his gentlemanly manners and politely declined Veratia's invitation.
After hanging up the phone, Harry took two deep breaths and returned to his dormitory.
Honestly, it's really hard to resist when such a beautiful older woman invites him to bathe together, right?
Of course, after returning to his dormitory, Harry didn't forget to invite Neville and Seamus, but both of them needed to go home for Christmas.
"My mother said that unless she dies one day, I want to spend the holidays with her."
Seamus said helplessly that he actually really wanted to celebrate the holiday with his friends.
"Grandma is home alone, so I have to stay with her," Neville said obediently.
Of course, this was also what Neville was thinking. After all, his parents were hospitalized in St Mungo's Hospital, and his grandmother was all alone at home. If he didn't go home to spend the holiday with her, she would be all alone at home.
This is undoubtedly a very sad thing for an elderly person.
Seamus's situation was rather special; his maternal grandmother was an Italy sorceress, so... his mother had picked up some Italy habits.
"We'll send you gifts," Ron said regretfully. "Is there any snack you'd like to eat? Maybe we can exchange some snacks this holiday season."
"How about some new Muggle world? Besides Coke, there should be a lot of other good drinks, right?" Neville asked curiously.
"Of course, Muggle are quite good at developing their diets," Ron said, patting his chest as if he knew Muggle very well.
If you didn't know better, you'd think he was Muggle-born wizard.
Then again, after all, Arthur Weasley, Ron's father, is the Head of Department of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office, so it's not surprising that he knows about items in the Muggle world.
Since the next day was the weekend, they didn't rush to sleep. Instead, they chatted enthusiastically in their dormitory, dreaming about their future after graduation.
If fifth-graders talking about this kind of thing is considered being prepared for the future, then for third-graders to start thinking about it is somewhat a bit too far-fetched.
As the holidays approach, most students have lost their patience for studying, including those in the Dueling Club.
At the last Dueling Club gathering before the Christmas holidays, everyone was a little distracted, still wondering what to do during the holidays.
Harry didn't say much, because he really didn't have much time. Cassandra was pulling him along to practice developing Charms, just like a hundred years ago.
Sebastian, Leviosa on the ceiling, had slightly moist eyes.
They're back! They're all back!
This is the taste!
There weren't many students studying in the Great Hall. Apart from a few high- Academic Bully like Hermione who were eager for good grades, a few students who genuinely loved learning, and some students who had even fooled themselves, most students were making a ruckus, playing Wizard Chess or cards in groups.
"This is absolutely shocking!" Ron said indignantly, clutching the Daily Prophet.
"What's wrong?" the person next to him asked with concern.
"Look at this!" Ron said angrily, pointing to the contents of the Daily Prophet: "The current Wizard Chess World Championship is being held in Seoul. Because Hamilton didn't put his pieces on the lid of the chess box, he was penalized by the Korea Hamilton according to Korea Wizard Chess rules and lost!"
"What? How can they be so shameless!" the students next to them said indignantly.
Although they don't watch Wizard Chess, this shameless behavior still shocked them.
"I told you so, you see."
Hermione picked up the Korea flag from the Daily Prophet, pointed at it, and said, "Look, red represents their brothers to the north who are always ready to march south! Blue represents their America daddy who's always rubbing against them; black represents the culture they copied from their neighboring colonial power; white represents their basically non-existent history... and..."
"What else?" Ron raised an eyebrow, acknowledging Hermione's interpretation.
"And then there's green, which represents the sporting spirit of Korea," Hermione said.
"But I didn't see any green... Oh! I get it!" Ron slapped his thigh and gave Hermione a thumbs up. "That's a really great interpretation, and I also think they're truly shameless..."
Harry remembered that teacher from Cao County a hundred years ago...
To be honest, that teacher was indeed a coward, at least that's what Professor Garick thought, and Professor Hoot thought so too.
Professor Hoot was rather extreme; she was always muttering things like "barbarians are ruining the country," which Harry obviously couldn't understand.
"Alright, let's look at something cheerful." Neville put away the books on the table. "Even if we're angry, we can't change the outcome of the competition. We can only wait for the Ministry of Magic to protest."
The Ministry of Magic is protesting?
Ron thought about the Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge...
Does he still have the backbone?
"We have to strike hard at a time like this!" Cassandra said from the sidelines. "If we let this tiny country bully Britain, then Britain will become a laughingstock of the world!"
"What's the use? We almost couldn't even handle Argentina," Hermione said dejectedly.
Cassandra clearly hasn't recovered from what happened a century ago. In fact, during Cassandra's time, the Vega Sea was a dominant force in both the British wizarding world and the Muggle World.
Of course, things are different now. Since World War I, Britain has been declining, especially in the 1980s.
First, Mountbatten became the most resilient ship at sea, and then he almost made a big mistake on the Malvinas Islands.
"How could this be?" Cassandra was somewhat incredulous.
"We almost didn't even get to the Falkland Islands," Seamus said with a shrug. "How can we possibly manage Great Britain with those incompetent Muggle?"
In reality, the Magical World and the Muggle World are not separate entities at the higher levels. After all, they share the same fate, and the Muggle royal family and 10 Downing Street have always maintained contact with the Ministry of Magic.
However, the Magical World, ravaged by Voldemort's bloodshed, clearly suffered a generational gap, further exacerbating the already strained state of the British wizarding world.
"You can't only be patriotic when you're winning, can you?" Hermione said with a shrug.
This was destined to be just a passing episode, but Cassandra was clearly deep in thought.
She thought of Veratia, who was determined to revive the Austria Magical World, and decided that when she returned to the Malfoy family, she would talk to her father and brother about the current state of the British wizarding world.
The holiday arrived quickly, and after Harry finished tidying up his room, he saw Sirius sitting idly in the Common Room.
Sirius waved gracefully as Harry came out.
"Harry," he said with a smile, "Merry Christmas."
"You too, Sirius," Harry replied with a smile.
Hermione rolled her eyes and pointed to the calendar beside her, saying, "If I remember correctly, it's December 16th now, not Christmas, so it's a bit early to say 'Happy Christmas'."
"You're right, clever little girl," Sirius said with a chuckle.
After saying that, he looked down at Harry and said, "Lily was like that too..."
"Lily?" Hermione raised an eyebrow.
"That's Harry's mother," Sirius said, patting Harry on the shoulder. "Come on, I've already had the carriage waiting outside. We can set off once Professor Lupin arrives."
As they walked out, Sirius was still whispering to Harry, "Don't worry, I've checked the calendar... the full moon is on the 27th after Christmas."
"That's wonderful." Harry was also very happy, as it meant that Professor Lupin could have a peaceful Christmas.
He told Sirius to wait in the carriage while he went to the Great Hall.
"I thought you were going to make me wait like this forever, Potter."
An arrogant voice rang out; it was Cassandra.
Cassandra looked beautiful today, dressed in a classic black robe and wearing the white lace gloves Harry had given her; she looked every bit the Slytherin beauty.
And he was the most outstanding one.
On the way here, Harry was constantly agonizing over what to do.
During previous summer holidays, Cassandra always insisted that Harry hold her hand—in Cassandra's words, that a follower should have follower etiquette...
Harry did believe it, and he believed it for several years...
But now he realized that holding hands was indeed a bit ambiguous, but sticking to his old habits, it was better to do it the way it always was, at least it would bring the two of them closer.
But... what should we do?
He quickly made up his mind to pretend it was unintentional, letting everything happen subtly and quietly.
"How could that be?" Harry cleared his throat and extended his hand slightly. "Let's go together."
When he reached out his hand, he was already prepared—if Cassandra didn't take his hand, he would pull it back and scratch his head to avoid an awkward atmosphere.
Everything was going according to his plan.
Cassandra stared blankly at Harry's outstretched hand; she hadn't expected Harry to reach out on his own initiative.
"As expected of a qualified sidekick, Potter."
Cassandra finally smiled, and even the small mole under her eye seemed to glow.
It's clear she's genuinely happy.
She reached out and put her hand on Harry's arm.
"Let's go," she said, "Don't keep your little animal friends waiting..."
"My little animal friends?" Harry didn't understand.
"Yes, yes," Cassandra, tilting her head slightly. "Look at Granger the beaver, Weasley the red mole, and your Godfather dog—aren't they all little animals?"
Harry was taken aback.
Well, even after all this time, Cassandra is still the same Cassandra.
"Alright, good kids shouldn't give other people nicknames," Harry cleared his throat. "At least not in front of them, okay?"
"Are you begging me?" Cassandra asked with a smile.
Harry put on a serious face and said, "Yes, I'm begging you, please, Cassandra."
"Oh, then I've decided to accept my little follower's request." Cassandra smiled and walked out of the Great Hall with Harry.
Sirius, sitting by the carriage, had no idea that Harry had come with Cassandra. He was even more surprised that his godson was being escorted by the eldest Slytherin sister.
Prongs, oh, me...
He suddenly remembered Lupin's advice.
Hey, I've done right by you, Prongs.
Look at our good son, he's already learning to dig for cabbages!
And she even snagged the most beautiful and juiciest cabbage in the Malfoy family!
Thinking of this, he couldn't help but smile.
No, there's something even more exciting.
What would that wicked Miss Grindelwald do if she knew how close Harry and Malfoy were?
As Godfather, Sirius wouldn't tell Veratia the secret, but that doesn't mean he didn't enjoy watching the fun.
Shura field...
Sirius, having been tricked by Veratia once, certainly wouldn't mind seeing Miss Grindelwald become a loser.
Sirius couldn't help but smile whenever he thought of Miss Grindelwald, the woman who always lost her husband.
"Your Godfather's smile is a bit..."
Cassandra whispered to Harry, but she didn't say the last part, which was rather lewd.
After all, he's Harry's Godfather, so he has to be careful with his words. What if Harry gets upset?
She knew that Harry was a very sentimental child.
Harry assumed Sirius was just proud to see him so close to the pretty girl, and chuckled, saying, "He's my Godfather, after all, and a good friend of my dad's. Maybe he's just proud of it?"
"What is he proud of?" Cassandra asked knowingly.
Harry blushed slightly. He knew what the old Godfather was proud of, but he was too shy to say it directly to Cassandra, so he coughed twice and said, "Perhaps he thinks his godson has grown up."
After saying that, he quickly changed the subject. "I just arranged for Pabbie to come over, but I can't see her now?"
"You also made an appointment with that donkey?" Cassandra asked suspiciously.
"Hey! How could you say that to me!"
Pabbie's displeased voice came from behind them. Cassandra turned around and saw Pabbie in his ghost form.
No wonder I hadn't heard a sound earlier; it turns out Pabbie was following behind in ghost form.
How can a ghost make footsteps?
"Hey! Cassandra!" Pabbie pointed at Cassandra playfully. "I'm Unicorn! How dare you call me a donkey!"
"Oh," Cassandra waved her hand dismissively, saying to Harry, "Looks like this school has gained a sad donkey from now on..."
Pabbie was furious. She grabbed her Hufflepuff robe and bit it, glaring at Cassandra through gritted teeth.
"Let's go," Harry said to Pabbie, then looked at Cassandra, "And you too, Cassandra, why are you bullying Pabbie?"
"Because it's very interesting."
Cassandra said with a smile, not feeling at all that being scolded by her little follower was a bad thing.
