Giving Gifts to Three Women at Once
"You need to be prepared; I need to remove the protective flames."
After Harry finished speaking, the surrounding flames suddenly licked outwards.
The Inferi were terrified of fire, and startled by this, they all retreated sharply, some even falling backward and crashing into the lake.
"Don't worry, Harry," Veratia said.
Hearing Veratia's response, Harry raised his other hand, the one not holding the wand.
"Ready—"
As soon as he finished speaking, the surrounding flames vanished as if they had never burned at all.
The Inferi were stunned for a moment; they never expected that the flames that filled the sky would suddenly and mysteriously disappear.
"Now!"
With a shout, Veratia's robes fluttered wildly as her magic surged.
The purple, ribbon-like magic seemed to solidify, like a long whip that swept away the stunned Inferi and pulled them all back into the lake.
Harry raised his wand high and shouted, "Regulus Arcturus Black's clothes, Accio!"
After he finished chanting the Charms, a bright white light burst forth from the tip of the wand.
At the same time, the lake water was churning violently, and soon a thin figure flew out of the water and was quickly sucked into Harry's hand.
"It's Regulus!" Sirius exclaimed.
That was his youngest brother, how could he forget him?
He was very curious as to why Harry could use the Accio to pull Regulus out of the lake, since the Accio shouldn't affect the human body.
But this was clearly not a good time to ask questions, so Sirius could only suppress his curiosity.
"Let's go," Harry said, "Let's Apparition back—"
With a crackling flash of light, Harry dragged Regulus back to Black family home.
It should be said that his return was clearly not at a good time, because Regulus had fallen right between Hermione and Ron.
It looks like Hermione is tutoring Ron.
The moment Hermione saw Regulus, she let out a high-pitched scream.
Ron quickly pulled Hermione back, and then, almost without thinking, drew his wand and unleashed a Blazing Flames at Regulus.
Harry cast a Charms to block the fire magic, thus saving Regulus from being burned to ashes.
Ron is quite reliable—provided that what suddenly appeared in front of him wasn't a spider.
A mere Inferi couldn't scare Ron, a tough kid who was constantly being given targeted little surprises by the Weasley twins.
But if it's a Giant Spider, then Ron should also be cosplaying as an air raid siren with Hermione right now.
"Look what's going on here!" Veratia, stepping into Black family home, even had the mood to joke, "Oh, I really suspect we traveled through time when Apparition. Could this be Coventry in 1940?"
The term "Coventry" refers to the Coventry Event, a controversial event in which the Britain authorities sacrificed local interests for the greater good. A team led by Alan Turing cracked the Germany code system, learning of Germany's Moonlight Sonata Plan bombing of Coventry. To avoid exposing their code to Germany, the Britain failed to warn the city's residents or take any unconventional defensive measures, ultimately leading to Coventry's destruction.
To be honest, Hermione's screams did sound a lot like an air raid siren.
When Hermione saw Veratia appear, she finally stopped screaming. Her face turned red and white, both shy and still somewhat shaken.
"What on earth is going on?" Hermione asked hysterically.
"This is Sirius brother, we rescued him from the cave." Veratia glanced at Regulus, who was still struggling and scratching at Ron, and said in a calm tone, "He seems a little off, but it's nothing serious."
"You call this something's not right?!" Hermione asked, scratching her head. "He's become Inferi —we learned in class that this is a clear sign of Inferi— "
"It's no big deal," Veratia said nonchalantly. "Don't worry, he won't bite..."
Hermione felt like she'd heard that phrase somewhere before... Oh, she remembered! It was when she was in first grade, during a holiday visit to her aunt's house, and that's how her aunt described their dog.
"See? He doesn't bite, don't worry, darling."
No sooner had she finished speaking than the dog bit her cousin.
Hermione hadn't even recovered from her memories when Sirius and Dumbledore returned to the place.
"I think the most urgent thing to do now is to clear Regulus's name!" Sirius's first words upon returning were this. "He is a hero who fought against Voldemort, not a villain who followed Voldemort, and the whole Magical World must know this—look, two men of the Black family home are standing on the front lines against Voldemort!"
"This is indeed what we should do," Dumbledore said weakly.
Harry noticed that Dumbledore wasn't feeling well, so he went over and helped Dumbledore sit down on the sofa next to him.
"You really shouldn't be so arrogant, Dumbledore," Veratia sighed. "We all know the meaning of self-sacrifice... Whether it's me, Harry, or Uncle Black, we all have the spirit to sacrifice everything..."
"It seems I've overstepped my bounds." Dumbledore smiled gently. "Very well, I won't be so arrogant again—"
"Harry! Harry!" Ron's voice suddenly rang out. "Take him away, take him away, ahhhhhh—"
Ron's voice trembled with terror as Regulus's hands gripped his legs.
It wasn't that Ron was useless; it was simply because the Inferi in front of him was Regulus Black, the young master of the Black family home and Sirius's younger brother.
He was hesitant to use any magic rashly, fearing the consequences.
If Regulus were cremated directly, that would be terrible.
"This was my mistake." Sirius placed a hand on his chest, raised his head, and cried out, "Kritcher! Kritcher! Regulus has been brought back!"
As soon as he finished speaking, there were crackling flashes in the air, Kritcher appeared in the Living Room.
The moment he saw Regulus, Kritcher could no longer hold back; his legs went weak, and he knelt down with a thud.
"Young master —good heavens, Young Master Regulus, is that you?"
He Apparition once more and appeared beside Regulus.
It should be said that he stood between Regulus and Ron.
Having already turned into Inferi, Regulus had no memories of his previous life. He couldn't recognize the short guy in front of him at all; he only knew that he looked like he might be edible.
He reached out and placed his hands on Kritcher's shoulders.
"Oh, young master..."
Kritcher used some kind of supernatural force, Regulus was unable to grab him at all. Instead, Kritcher controlled both of Regulus's arms.
Regulus's Inferi hissed and lowered its head to take another bite of Kritcher to taste its saltiness.
However, Kritcher reached out and cupped Regulus's face, sobbing, "Young master master, you still remember poor old Kritcher. Kritcher would be glad to die—come, come with Kritcher back to your room. Since you left, apart from that spendthrift... that young master master who recently won the mistress's favor and Young Master Potter, Kritcher has not allowed anyone to enter your room..."
Kritcher chattered with Regulus, helping him walk step by step toward Regulus's room.
Regulus wasn't very well-behaved while walking, and always looked like he wanted to take a bite out of Kritcher.
However, Kritcher always managed to find an improbable angle to dodge Regulus's bites.
This art style... is extremely bizarre.
"So how exactly did you use the Accio..." Sirius gestured as he spoke, unable to quite describe the feeling.
In his mind, the Accio could not possibly work on the human body.
"It can pull on a person's clothes, thus making them fly over," Harry said succinctly.
That's actually just scratching the surface, because Harry actually pulled Regulus out of the lake...
To do this, one needs an immense amount of magical power like his—in fact, even Dumbledore couldn't do it, because he didn't have a Philosopher 'Philosopher's Stone power as a backup.
But Harry can do that.
Just give it your all, and leave the rest to miracles.
"I still suggest that Regulus should be laid to rest," Dumbledore said. "Now that we've found him, shouldn't we remove the Dark Arts from him and restore him to his former state as a corpse?"
"No, that's my brother!" Sirius refused without hesitation. "How could I possibly leave him in a cold coffin? Absolutely not!"
Pabbie's ghost suddenly appeared.
"Perhaps an urn. Since you don't like coffins, cremation is also an option," she comforted Sirius.
Sirius:...
No, I thought that since you're Hufflepuff, you must have some good ideas for coming up, but I didn't expect you to say such heartless things...
"I think Sweeting is right," Cassandra said, coming down from upstairs. "In any case, he's in the form of a Inferi, which is a disgrace to the Black family home's honor—remember your family motto? Always be pure..."
"Our family has been impure for a long time!" Sirius waved his hand and said, "If we're talking about purity, it's been impure ever since I betrayed the family and came to Gryffindor —if you don't believe me, go ask my mother. Do you think she thinks it's because family members became Inferi that the family became impure, or because someone in the family went to Gryffindor that the family became impure?"
"Gryffindor!" Walburga shouted Gryffindor's name like the Sorting Hat, but she quickly corrected herself, saying, "That was before—now I think if you went to Slytherin, you might end up like Regulus, who ended up as Harry Potter's Godfather! Of course, I'm not saying Slytherin is bad, but Gryffindor would give you a much wider world to explore!"
"You really think so?" Sirius ran up to his mother's portrait and asked, somewhat incredulously.
"Alright!" Walburga said again, "I agree with your suggestion. You are a good older brother—let my poor Regulus stay at home, and let Kritcher bring him to see me from time to time..."
"I think I should think of something," Sirius said, tapping on the wall. "Regulus's body is relatively well-preserved, and god of death is currently at Hogwarts... Perhaps I can ask god of death to bring Regulus back..."
"And what is the price?" Dumbledore asked.
"If Miss Sweeting can be resurrected, then Regulus..." Sirius asked, sniffing.
"Pabbie's situation is rather special; she's somewhere between having a physical body and not having one... and she doesn't need god of death's help either." Harry reached out and ruffled Pabbie's soul head. Pabbie chuckled as her head was ruffled and rubbed her head against Harry's palm.
"There has never been a precedent of Inferi being resurrected as a human since ancient times," Dumbledore advised Sirius.
"Indeed, no." Sirius's gaze became steady. "If there were, I hope it would start with Regulus —I will find a good way, a good way to get Regulus out of his Inferi state..."
"Merlin's thong! Sirius..."
Walburga looked touched; she never imagined that her two children had such a deep bond.
In that instant, she completely disregarded all that so-called Pure-blood concept.
As long as the two children get along well and live peacefully, that's fine.
"I hereby declare that you are now the head of the Black family home!" Walburga shouted, and whether it was an illusion or not, the whole house seemed to tremble at her roar.
Just then, Phineas also appeared in the photo frame next to him.
"What happened?" he asked groggily, looking as if he had just woken up.
"It's nothing, it's just that my mom just announced that I'll be the head of the Black family from now on." Sirius's expression was somewhat complicated.
In fact, Sirius had no feelings for his family back when he was kicked out of the house.
But after living here for so many years, there's still a little bit of reluctance in my heart.
Sirius was suddenly announced as the head of the Black family home, and his feelings were naturally very complicated.
He never expected that his mother would suddenly acknowledge him as the heir to the Black family home.
Well, since the Black family home doesn't have any male heirs right now, I'll just take over as head of the family for now... I'll pass the position to Regulus when he returns.
Thinking of this, Sirius nodded at the portrait of Walburga.
"Thank you, Mother."
After saying that, he turned to look at Harry.
"Harry, give me that fake locket."
Harry didn't refuse; he took the golden locket out of his pocket and tossed it to Sirius.
"This is irrefutable proof to clear Regulus's name and make him a hero." Sirius refolded the note and carefully tucked it back into the locket. "As long as we hand this over to the Ministry of Magic, they will naturally clear Regulus's name..."
"Why not consider the Daily Prophet?"
Dumbledore suddenly asked.
"The Daily Prophet?" Sirius asked, frowning. "Why choose the Daily Prophet?"
"Oh, that brings up another issue," Veratia chuckled. "It would be fine if the Ministry of Magic exonerated one Black within a few months, but exonerating two Black seems a bit like they're doing it in bulk..."
"But this is a fact!" Sirius retorted, puzzled. "My brother is a hero! A hero who fought against Voldemort! He's not an accomplice of that old psychopath!"
"But some things are all about perspective, not facts," Cassandra said, shrugging.
She was still wearing the white lace gloves that Harry had given her before, her slender fingers looking delicate and elegant.
"Let's get the public in the right place first," Harry concluded. "That's a very good suggestion. Sirius —someone like Fudge isn't thinking about the facts first, but rather how this will affect him... In his view, if two Black are exonerated in quick succession, people will definitely question whether he accepted half a million Knut from the Black family home..."
"Why 500,000 Knut?" Sirius asked.
"Because the number is quite large." Harry changed the subject. "In short, the best way is to mobilize the Daily Prophet and have them lead the charge for us, don't you think, Godfather?"
"Alright, I'll do as you say." Sirius nodded hesitantly.
Well, since that's what the father said, I might as well believe him.
"However..." Harry suddenly looked at Sirius and scanned him up and down.
Sirius felt a little uncomfortable under that gaze, as if he were being scrutinized by an elder to see if he was up to standard.
"I don't think Fudge is any good. How can such an incompetent idiot be in the position of Minister for Magic? Why not let my Godfather be Minister for Magic?" Harry rubbed his chin and said, "First of all, my Godfather is a hero who hates evil and fought against Voldemort; secondly, my Godfather is very capable and more than qualified to be Minister for Magic; finally... in short, I think my Godfather is much more qualified than Fudge."
"I agree with you," Veratia nodded in agreement. "Besides, it's important to have one of our own in the Ministry of Magic."
"Wasn't Fudge also promoted by Professor Dumbledore? Logically speaking, shouldn't he be one of Dumbledore's own people?" Sirius asked, frowning.
It wasn't that he lacked political acumen; after so many years in prison, he didn't have any firsthand information about the outside world.
After escaping from prison, his mind was filled with Pettigrew, and he had no time to learn about the grudges and feuds within the Ministry of Magic.
After being exonerated, Sirius was busy with school affairs, so he didn't really know anything about the Ministry of Magic.
"Fudge is ambitious but incompetent. He's terrified of Dumbledore taking power from him, so he's always been wary of the Headmaster," Veratia explained to Sirius. "However, Fudge is incredibly stupid. I think there's a saying that goes—he raised the average age of the Ministry of Magic, but lowered the average IQ..."
Upon hearing this teasing remark, Sirius couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Thinking about it carefully, that's indeed the case.
"But we need to think about how to make the plan go smoothly," Pabbie said casually. "The biggest problem we face now is how to get Fudge to step down instead of taking the position of Minister for Magic."
"Voldemort's resurrection is a foregone conclusion," Cassandra said, arms crossed. "Once this news is confirmed, Fudge will have no choice but to step down."
"Hey, hey, hey—" Sirius suddenly shouted, "You've just decided what to do next for me like this, without even asking for my opinion, the person involved? Isn't this a bit like you've handpicked me?"
"Of course not, Godfather," Harry explained with a smile, "It's just that I think you're best suited for this job, to make some small contributions to the Magical World..."
"Since you put it that way, Harry," Sirius cleared his throat, "I can only reluctantly accept your suggestion and completely abandon my own selfish desires... But as a former prisoner in Azkaban, will I face opposition if I suddenly go to work for the Ministry of Magic?"
"That depends on the Daily Prophet." Veratia crossed her legs high. "Our next goal is to turn the Daily Prophet into our mouthpiece—"
"It's easier said than done," Dumbledore, rubbing his Jingming Acupoint. "Even Voldemort couldn't completely subdue the Daily Prophet..."
"We don't necessarily need to force them to submit; perhaps we can cooperate." Veratia gave a mysterious smile. "However, that's not urgent for now. Our top priority is to find Voldemort as soon as possible, and ideally, to successfully resurrect him in a world-renowned event—the kind of event that Fudge simply cannot hide."
As she said this, a faint violet light shone in Veratia's pupils.
She looked at Dumbledore and said meaningfully, "Perhaps the Headmaster has a way, doesn't he?"
"Let me think, Miss Grindelwald..." Dumbledore was truly having a headache; this senior was really ruthless...
He knew, of course, that the Grindelwald family members all had a talent for Prophecy. For example, Veratia's Prophecy talent, though not very accurate, would occasionally work once or twice.
Lately, he's been frequently traveling to France and Eastern Europe, all for that grand event from fourth grade—
However, this is far too dangerous. If Voldemort were to lose control and do something at that moment, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"I await your reply, Headmaster Dumbledore," Veratia said, without revealing what she had seen through the Prophecy, but rather speaking with a hint of meaning.
Those watching were completely bewildered, but Harry didn't ask. He knew that if Veratia didn't want to talk about it, nothing he did would make her say.
But if Veratia doesn't want to keep it from him, she'll sneak into his room tonight to tell him.
Now that the plan has been set, we must strive to complete it.
In the days that followed, Sirius and Harry went to the Daily Prophet several times to talk about Regulus and even brought out the golden locket as evidence.
As a journalist who loves to get big news, Ms. Skeeter. Rita Skeeter has a keen enough sense for this.
The first thing that came to her mind was a sensational news headline. "The Love-Hate Feud of the Black Brothers."
Just think about it, it's bound to be a box office hit!
The fervor surrounding this news caused Skeeter to even overlook the equally sensational news— Harry Potter himself.
As the Savior of the wizarding world, Harry is always in the news.
But clearly, in their eyes, the Black family home's secret is the real big news.
Perhaps a different title could be used, such as "The Black family home: A Secret History," which would also be quite eye-catching.
Skeeter stared at Sirius with an undisguised fervor that made Sirius feel extremely uncomfortable.
"Ms. Skeeter? Ms. Skeeter?"
After Sirius finished speaking, he glanced at the Quill that was automatically recording, then looked at Ms. Skeeter who was staring at him with fervent eyes, and frowned as he called out.
It took several calls before Skeeter came to his senses.
"Oh, you're done?" Skeeter picked up the little notebook, glanced at it, and said with lingering interest, "Well, I understand—don't worry, Mr. Black, I will definitely clear your brother's name..."
"Thank you so much, Lady," Sirius said, feigning deep gratitude.
The day after they returned, Rita Skeeter's masterpiece, "The Black family home: A Secret History," was published in the Daily Prophet.
This news report embellished the feud between the two Black brothers to an extreme degree, with Skeeter using almost every trick in the book to create a "reasonable" adaptation of the Black family home's story.
In her writing, the two Black family home brothers became enemies because of their inheritance, leading to the older brother going to Gryffindor and the younger brother going to Slytherin.
She also went to great lengths to describe how Sirius was filled with grief, sorrow, and despair, to the point that he betrayed his family background to join Slytherin.
You know what, after Skeeter's embellishment, Sirius's motivation for going to Gryffindor actually came to fruition, and it even seemed perfectly reasonable.
That's right, this is the Black family home's split history that everyone has imagined...
Britain public enjoys most is nothing more than the feuds and scandals of wealthy families, and now Rita Skeeter's fabricated stories are exactly to their liking, to the point that everyone is willing to believe this version.
Even the nosy Arthur made a special trip to Black family home to inquire about Sirius's matter.
Upon learning that things were not as Rita had described, Mr. Weasley first expressed regret, and then strongly criticized Ms. Skeeter's fabrication.
However, to their surprise, the news of Regulus becoming Inferi spread like wildfire and also appeared in the Daily Prophet.
"How did she know?!" Sirius slammed the newspaper on the table hysterically. "I'm so angry! Did all those years of schooling only teach her how to gossip about others?!"
"I don't think it's that simple." Veratia frowned slightly. She felt that something was wrong, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
Harry felt the same way; he always felt things weren't so simple.
But today is Christmas, and no matter how angry they are, they can't go to the Daily Prophet's headquarters to confront Rita Skeeter.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione prepared Christmas present for several days, and distributed them all on Christmas Day.
They also received many Christmas present, mostly from classmates, and some from their parents.
Ron's gifts were still some hand-knitted sweaters, and this time he even added one for Veratia... but not for Cassandra and Pabbie, since Mrs. Weasley didn't know they existed.
Cassandra looked envious and covetous, but she insisted on acting like she didn't care.
Cassandra didn't show a faint smile until Harry handed her the Christmas present.
"I don't really like this gift, Potter," she said condescendingly. "I'm just glad that you, my little lackey, still remember me..."
"Yes, Miss Malfoy."
With that, Harry bowed deeply to Cassandra.
Cassandra's eyes narrowed slightly; she was a little unhappy.
Before she could react, Harry hugged her.
"What, what are you doing?" Cassandra suddenly panicked. "What are you trying to do? Potter! How dare you be so rude..."
"Oh, it's just a friendly hug, what's wrong with you?" Harry teased Cassandra, pretending nothing was wrong. "Why are you blushing? Did you think of something inappropriate? Really—we have a purely platonic friendship..."
"Depulso (Pushing Charm)!"
Harry was struck by Cassandra's Charms and floated out of the room.
Fortunately, Harry was prepared, otherwise he wouldn't have floated away so easily, but would have been hit with a thud.
When he gave Veratia the prepared gift, he took advantage of her inattention and reached out to hug her tightly.
Veratia's face flushed suspiciously, revealing her true nature of high offense and low defense.
"Merry Christmas, Veratia," Harry said happily.
"Mmm," Veratia replied softly.
When Harry left, Veratia's legs went weak and she sat down in a chair.
Merlin...
"What about mine?"
Pabbie's voice came from behind Harry. The ghost girl squinted and looked very unhappy—more unhappy than Cassandra.
"Your what?" Harry asked, feigning ignorance.
"My present!" Pabbie stomped her foot, causing a tremor. "Where's my present! Where's my Christmas present!"
"You mean this?" Harry chuckled and reached behind him to pull out a handful of grass. "Here, have some grass—"
"Hey, you rascal!" Pabbie exclaimed, reaching out to hit Harry.
However, Harry pushed his way up from the grass and squeezed out a beautiful rose.
"Here," Harry handed the flowers to Pabbie, "this is an alchemical creation; even ghosts can smell its fragrance. It's for you—"
With that, Harry shoved the flower into Pabbie's hand, who was still standing there in a daze, and turned to leave without a trace.
When he got downstairs, Sirius came up as if he were meeting a friend.
"So, Harry?" he asked, quite gossipy. "How were the methods I taught you?"
"You're the one! Godfather!" Harry gave Sirius a genuine thumbs-up. My Godfather is still my Godfather...
Harry felt absolutely fantastic to give gifts to three women at the same time and make them all blush!
God knows, Merlin was the same, Harry had never had such an experience.
Sirius was even happier. He had temporarily put aside the matter of the Slytherin women. In his view, he, as Godfather, had finally demonstrated the role Godfather should play in front of his godson, and that was what made him happiest.
His biggest worry was that Harry would think he wasn't capable.
But now that's great, who dares to say that Sirius Black incompetent?
Who is the walking embodiment of hormones at Hogwarts? It has to be the young Sirius Black!
But in reality, this trick of his only Harry on the three women who have feelings for him; it might not work on anyone else...
Sirius thought it worked because it didn't require any skill; it was all about numbers.
A man who was more handsome than Leo at his peak in his youth—that's a testament to his talent.
Back then, at Hogwarts, he could simply stand there, striking a melancholy pose, and the witches would surround him and scream...
If Snape were to do this, he would be incredibly slick—and indeed, Snape himself was quite slick, in a physical sense.
"Thank you so much, Sirius!"
Harry gave Sirius a big hug, a truly heartfelt one.
At the same time, he was still thinking about it.
If the Godfather had also traveled back a hundred years, wouldn't he have already helped him fulfill his long-cherished wish...?
But he forgot one thing, what prompted him to decide to have them all was that all three women had traveled through time for him, and he couldn't give up any of them.
And it was precisely for this reason that the three women were able to sit down and look at each other calmly.
How about we try having someone else come in? Like Miss Farley?
Do you think Veratia's Avada Lightning Chain isn't fast enough, or do you think Cassandra's Weather Charm has insufficient voltage?
Your ashes have been scattered.
Sirius reached out and patted his godson on the back. At that moment, he felt that he was finally starting to feel like Godfather.
"Don't worry, Harry," Sirius reassured Harry, "I'll be your strongest support!"
Harry felt extremely confident—after all, the strategy his Godfather had just given him had proven to be effective.
He whistled and happily found Ron, and they played two games of Wizard Chess together.
"What's wrong with you, buddy?" Ron asked tentatively. "Something's off about you—you actually asked me to play Wizard Chess?"
"I'm in a great mood," Harry said cheerfully. "Come on, let's play another round!"
He had lost three games in a row, but he was still very happy.
It must be said that Ron's Wizard Chess skills are indeed very high; at least among his peers, Ron has not yet met an opponent.
After playing chess for a while, Harry and Ron were called away by Sirius to have a snowball fight in the yard.
Hermione doesn't really like the sport, but she loves watching people have snowball fights.
"It would be great if we could invite your two older brothers," Sirius said with a hint of regret. "I think we could get along well—or rather, they have the same style that Prongs, Moony, and I used to have..."
"Indeed, but those two..."
Harry recounted in detail to Sirius what happened during Christmas in their first year, including the time the two of them threw snowballs at Voldemort's face.
Sirius was stunned when he heard about the Twins ' glorious achievements.
"Merlin, those two actually have such courage?!" Sirius couldn't help but ask, "It's unbelievable..."
"And then there's him," Ron said from the side. "My two brothers just threw snowballs at Quirrell on the back of the head, but Harry threw Chinese chomping cabbage right at him..."
Sirius was filled with awe upon hearing the words "Chinese chomping cabbage".
"You really are James ' son!" Sirius said with certainty.
It should be said that even a troublemaker like James wouldn't dare throw Chinese chomping cabbage at the back of the professor's head.
Sirius's statement was somewhat of a self-aggrandizing attempt to glorify James.
The Christmas dinner was lavish. Kritcher was in a completely useless state, so Veratia borrowed Luchi and Dico to come here to cook a Christmas dinner for them.
Kritcher now spends every day with Regulus, often taking Regulus out for walks and occasional sunbathing, which, according to Kritcher, is good for his skin.
"I suggest you take him away," Dico warned Kritcher. "Don't let him spill the hostess's food..."
If Dico hadn't known that the person the Elf was leading was the male protagonist's Godfather's brother, he would have locked up the Inferi along with Kritcher long ago.
His words were indeed a warning to Kritcher to consider his own safety.
After all, Veratia is a thrifty woman who hates wasting food the most...
"Mistress..." Kritcher mumbled, holding Regulus's hand, "Kritcher only has one mistress, and that is Mrs. Black..."
Dico knew that Kreacher wasn't quite right in the head—after all, a normal House Elf wouldn't just wander around his master's house with an Inferi on a leash—so he ignored Kritcher and went back to preparing the food.
Around 7 p. m., the House Elf prepared a sumptuous feast, filling an entire large table.
The Black family home's dining table was large enough to seat dozens of people, so you can imagine how much food was served.
