Almost instantly, Harry activated his self-defense mechanism.

However, the attack was not aimed at Harry's body, but at his mental defenses.

Suddenly, Harry felt a darkness before his eyes, and then he found himself in the sun-drenched Hogwarts Valley.

What's going on? Shouldn't it be nighttime? How come there's sunshine?

He then realized that he had probably been subjected to a mental attack, and that someone had invaded his Mental World!

With this in mind, he is no longer in a hurry.

His Mental World, enhanced by Ancient Magic, is where he is God; in simple terms, he is the GM of his own little Mental World.

Cheating? Cheating doesn't even begin to describe it.

He began to carefully search his Mental World, trying to find out where the intruder was.

Sure enough, not long after, he found a hooded figure on the Black Lake in the Hogwarts Valley in the Mental World.

It looks somewhat familiar.

The moment he had a thought, the figure appeared before him.

"Harry Potter— "

The soft voice rang out, and the more Harry listened, the more familiar it sounded.

"Who are you??" he asked uncertainly.

"You don't even recognize your old friends? That's really sad, Potter— " The figure chuckled, reaching down to remove her hood, revealing a charming and lovely face.

It's Voldemort in a male-female version.

Oh my god, it should be called Merope.

Harry's lips twitched; he really couldn't understand why this version of Tom would maintain this form.

"I mean, have you completely changed your gender?" he asked curiously.

"Yes, changing gender isn't difficult for a wizard," Voldemort —no, Miss Merope— chuckled. "Besides, being a woman helps me better conceal myself, lower people's guard, and even make them willingly let me do whatever I want. That's much more satisfying than controlling others with the Imperius Curse."

Harry fell silent.

He remained silent, unsure of what to say.

After a long pause, he finally managed to squeeze out, "You're really twisted these days."

"Twisted?" Miss Merope chuckled softly. "Perhaps, but it's certainly an unexpected path."

After saying that, Bei lifted her long robe, revealing two fair and beautifully curved legs—but that wasn't the point. The point was the two weapons clipped to her legs.

One is long, and one is short.

"What's that?" Harry asked with interest.

"This," Miss Merope said, drawing the two weapons and combining them into a scythe, "the Reaper Scythe. Haven't you seen something like this before?"

With that, she swung her sickle, and the surrounding space seemed to be cleaved apart by the sickle.

But it didn't happen.

Miss Merope gasped in surprise. She clearly hadn't expected that the Reaper Scythe, capable of tearing apart even space, couldn't sever the Mental World of Harry, this little wizard.

"I'm curious, why did you return to Hogwarts, and to Britain?"

Harry wasn't in a hurry. He had already sensed the power of that Reaper Scythe— it might be very strong, but this is my Mein Kampf.

"As far as I know, Voldemort seems to dislike you very much and holds a grudge against you for what you did to him. Your main soul is petty, as you should know. In fact, he even discussed with me about joining forces to deal with you."

"Is that so?" Miss Merope narrowed her crimson eyes. "But you should also know that we are essentially the same person. How could I not know what he's thinking? In fact, if it weren't for that fool giving you this illusion..."

"I don't think I can succeed so easily."

"So, what are you planning to do next?" Harry asked calmly. "After you've solved this problem for me."

"Devour him." Miss Merope smiled eerily. "Such good nourishment, such a good opportunity—if you don't cherish it, you'll be despised by Merlin— "

"You two seem to have a really good relationship," Harry said. "But have you ever considered that he's actually setting a trap for you behind your back?"

"Yeah?"

Miss Merope brandished the Reaper Scythe. "In any case, you'll be the first to meet death. So, Harry,"

Can you tell me what kind of death you want?

"I want to die of old age," Harry said decisively.

"You're naughty, Harry," Miss Merope said, brandishing her scythe. "Naughty children get punished—"

,

With that, she swung her sickle downwards.

Nothing happened.

Then she discovered that the scythe in her hand had suddenly appeared in Harry's hand.

"Your scythe is nice," Harry said with a grin, holding the scythe. "But now it's mine!"

"What?!" Miss Merope was clearly not expected that Harry would take his scythe, and do so so quietly.

It's important to know that the Reaper Scythe is immune to Charms attacks and can even counteract the Avada Kedavra!

But how could this seemingly ordinary fourth-grade student in front of me manage to steal the Reaper Scythe so quietly?

Miss Merope was having some existential questions.

No way, this is fourth grade?

It's not entirely Miss Merope's fault, after all, she left Hogwarts in her first year and had no chance to experience Harry's terror, and Voldemort simply didn't share this information with her.

This led Miss Merope to think of him as "just a slightly stronger fourth-year student," and even to look down on the Voldemort.

Damn it, you're useless! You can't even handle one child? You're Dun Shi!

"Obviously," Harry said with a smile to the bewildered Miss Merope, "Voldemort not only deceived you, but also refused to share the most important information with you. Perhaps, I can interpret it this way: he wanted to use me to kill you and eliminate this threat to himself."

"That's impossible," Miss Merope said indignantly. "Things aren't settled yet, how could he do that!"

"But that's just how it is. Well, my patience is running out." Harry twirled the Reaper Scythe with a flourish, then smiled at Miss Merope. "It seems Ceres's old saying is quite true: 'Born a son, raised to become a daughter.' I wonder if Merope Gaunt will be surprised to see her son has now turned into a daughter."

What kind of feeling would that be? Oh, she even inherited her mother's name, hahaha!

Miss Merope took a deep breath; she admitted she was a little overwhelmed.

"But you can't kill me, Harry." A red glint flashed in her eyes. "Perhaps you can erase me from your Mental World, but you can't kill me—"

"Why?" Harry asked calmly.

"You don't think I didn't make Horcrux, do you?" Miss Merope chuckled. "Of course, perhaps it can't be called Horcrux, well—anyway, you can get started now. This time, I admit my failure."

"Can I ask you a few questions?" Harry asked.

"Ask away, whether I answer or not depends on my mood," Miss Merope said with a sly smile.

"What exactly are you stirring up regarding your affairs in America?" Harry asked, squinting.

"No comment," Miss Merope replied quickly.

"We're friends, Merope," Harry continued. "The Reaper Scythe is a hot commodity, and the fact that you managed to get your hands on Legilimency means you must have some powerful connections... So, tell me about it, how about... Legilims!"

However, he read nothing; there was only a blank page.

It seems that Merope cleared his own mind before invading Harry's Mental World.

"You cannot read my mind!" Miss Merope sneered repeatedly, clearly adopting a non-violent, non-cooperative attitude.

Harry didn't waste any words with her. In a flash, Miss Merope turned to ashes in his Mental World.

He then withdrew from the Mental World, still holding the Reaper Scythe in his hand.

As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Veratia's concerned gaze.

"How are you, Harry? How are you feeling?"

"I feel pretty good," Harry said with a grin, handing the Reaper Scythe to Veratia. "Look, this is my spoils of war—it's said to be the scythe that god of death once used."

"Very good." Veratia didn't even glance at the scythe, but instead cupped Harry's face in her hands and asked softly, "Are you really alright, Harry? You just fainted, I was so scared—."

"It's nothing," Harry said, patting his chest. "It was just some mental attack. Merope —oh, you know, the part of Voldemort that escaped—invaded my Mental World and I killed him. It's that simple."

"Is it really that simple?" Veratia asked.

"Of course." Harry smiled, turned his head, and found himself lying on a warm bed.

Looking up, he saw the Milky Way.

"Where are we?" Harry asked.

"Great Hangleton." Dumbledore's voice came from the side, holding a pendant in his hand.

It's Slytherin's Locket.

"Is this Voldemort's Horcrux?" Harry asked with interest.

"Yes," Dumbledore sighed, "But Voldemort escaped, leaving behind only this Horcrux that has lost its soul fragment. I think he must have absorbed his own soul fragment and escaped again."

"It's not impossible," Harry said to Dumbledore, "But that's not the point. What about his Death Eater minions?"

"Not a single one escaped. I've already summoned the Auror to capture them," Dumbledore said with a chuckle. "What a spectacle, Harry. The Death Eater have been almost wiped out—well, for now, even if only Voldemort escaped, it's acceptable. After all, if only Voldemort is left, the trouble he can cause will be much smaller than if he were leading a group of Death Eater."

That's true, "Harry nodded in agreement.

Having acquired a Reaper Scythe and received news of Merope Riddle's return, it's definitely not a bad deal.

"I was trying to access Merope's memories within the mind-space," Harry said again, "But all I got was a blank page. Why is that?"

"Perhaps it's because that wasn't his main soul," Veratia said, then realized she'd said something wrong and asked, "Should I have said 'he' or 'she'?"

"She, I guess." Harry shrugged. "Merope told me that it's incredibly easy for wizards to switch genders. She's tired of living as a man, and living as a woman, where she can easily hide herself, is the life she wants."

"That's disgusting," Veratia said with disdain.

"Well then," Harry said, getting out of bed, which then turned into an inconspicuous little stone, "I think we should go back now, right? Everyone must be getting impatient. Where's the Triwizard Cup?"

"It's right over there," Dumbledore said, pointing to the trophy. "It's still in Portkey form. If you pick it up again, it will teleport you to the center of the arena."

Finally, Dumbledore said again, "Regarding what happened today, I think I need to give Fudge a brief explanation. Whether he believes it or not, he should understand that Voldemort has returned."

"I suggest you take those Death Eater and speak with Rita Skeeter," Harry said with a mysterious smile. "I think Ms. Skeeter would be very interested in these Death Eater, don't you think, Professor Dumbledore?"

Professor Dumbledore glanced back at Harry and nodded with a smile.

Harry is right; sometimes the power of the media is the real, unseen hand.

This battle did indeed yield some results, as Voldemort lost another Horcrux, which is certainly something to be happy about.

After Dumbledore left, Harry suddenly looked at Veratia and asked, "Wait a minute, I remember you were prepared, so why did you let Voldemort escape?"

"Oh—" Veratia suddenly turned her face away and said vaguely, "I think you should go back quickly, Harry."

Don't keep everyone waiting too long—

"Veratia!" Harry said seriously, "I want to know what just happened. Don't hide anything from me."

Okay?

Veratia turned her head, her violet eyes looking tenderly at Harry.

"Alright, since you asked—"

"After discussion, we unanimously agreed that not completely eradicating Voldemort was the best option."

"Why?" Harry asked, puzzled, though he already had a basic answer in his mind.

"The Death Eater must be eradicated, but not all of them," Veratia said with a slight smile. "I think Mr. Malfoy Sr. must have taught you this principle, right? It's also part of political science."

Harry suddenly realized that he remembered the lesson Mr. Septimus had given him, which seemed to be called "Raising an enemy to enhance one's own importance."

"You politicians all have dirty hearts," he remarked with a sigh.
