Why Harry Received the Special Services to the School Award for Four Years Straight
Of course there are people in the world who are as stupid as pigs; after all, out of billions of people, there are bound to be a few pigs.
Of course, not all those sitting in the Minister positions of a country are shrewd people.
As the saying goes, the world is a giant makeshift operation. Just as the Britain could never have imagined, the best Prime Minister after the Cold War was actually Jim Hack from a comedy film.
That's how it is these days; finding a reliable politician is harder than climbing to heaven.
Fudge is clearly a typical worm; the phrase "ambitious but incompetent" simply doesn't apply to him.
Why?
Ambitious but incompetent? First of all, you need to have ambition!
What do you have Fudge?
All he thinks about all day is how to keep his position as Minister for Magic, and he doesn't think about how to bring about better changes to the British wizarding world. He's no ordinary scoundrel!
Therefore, even a tolerant person like Dumbledore found it somewhat difficult to tolerate someone like Fudge sitting in the position of Minister for Magic.
However, everyone reached a consensus that Fudge would definitely have to step down, but if Fudge were to step down, it would have to be through a series of legal struggles, rather than having a strongman step forward and forcibly remove Fudge from power.
After all, the British wizarding world had just experienced Voldemort's rampage not long ago, and Fudge was not seen as having done anything wrong in the eyes of the public.
If such a situation were to occur, and considering that Gibbon has some trusted confidants within the Ministry of Magic,
Forcibly removing him from his horse would inevitably cause further damage to the already battered British wizarding world.
After the short meeting in the Headmaster's Office, Harry returned to the Gryffindor Common Room.
Veratia also left Hogwarts to return to Vienna to deal with the merger with Hungary —a long-held wish of hers.
"Want to play a riddle, Harry?"
The Sphinx's voice rang out, and Harry looked up to see that beautiful face staring at him.
It was really scary in the middle of the night.
This is why the Sphinx works the day shift, while the Fat Lady works the night shift.
"It's you? Where's the Fat Lady?" Harry asked curiously.
"The Fat Lady has gone on a date with her girlfriend," the Sphinx said with a smile. "I still can't quite understand you humans; your emotions are so... incomprehensible to me."
"You'll get used to it after you see it a few more times," Harry said with a chuckle. "Didn't I already solve the riddle tonight? Why do I have to solve it again?"
"That's in the maze. Your goal isn't to get into the Common Room, but to win the Triwizard Cup," Sphinx winked slyly.
"Alright," Harry shrugged. "What else can I say? Tell me the riddle."
The Sphinx cleared its throat.
"What can run but never wa Iks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head
But never weeps, has a head but never sleeps? (What can run but not walk, has a mouth but cannot speak, has a head but cannot cry, has a bed but cannot sleep?)
"River," Harry replied quickly.
"Congratulations, you can now enter the Common Room."
The Sphinx leaped aside, clearing a path.
In the Gryffindor Common Room, the students were still waiting for Harry.
Everyone cheered when they saw him walk in.
"Welcome home, champions!" the Weasley twins shouted, setting off a set of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes fireworks.
These are magical fireworks from the Magical World; setting them off in a dormitory wouldn't cause any problem at all.
If it were Muggle fireworks, the Twins would probably have set the entire Hogwarts Castle ablaze.
Everyone gathered around, encircling Harry and leading him to the table, where he sat in the frontmost seat.
"Tonight is party night!" Angelina Jansen shouted. "We've already decided that all Gryffindor will stay up all night!"
"And Hufflepuff!" Cedric shouted.
"And Ravenclaw too!" Luna's ethereal voice rang out.
"And of course, Slytherin!" Draco said with a smug and arrogant air.
"Cheers!" they shouted in unison, raising their Butterbeer glasses and beaming with joy.
After finishing their Butterbeer, the Twins shouted in unison, "Let's sing the Hogwarts school song together, shall we? Let's all agree on the same tune!"
"The funeral march?" Ron's face turned purple as he recalled the strange tone the Twins had sung in first grade.
Merlin's beard... he certainly doesn't want to sing with his Twins brothers!
"That's not a good idea, Ron!" Fred chuckled. "I think on this festive day..."
Using that tune is such a downer—how about something more cheerful, like the wedding march?
"It's not impossible—" Ron said with a grin, "But it still doesn't fit the style."
"Let's do ' We Are the Champions ' then," suggested Muggle-born Justin Finch-Fletchley.
You've all heard "Champions," that Queen song, right?
It should be acknowledged that Queen was indeed very famous.
This song, composed in 1977, was even known to wizards.
"Of course!" everyone shouted in unison. "This song is absolutely perfect! Let's sing this song instead of the Hogwarts school song!"
This proposal was unanimously approved.
"I'll start!" Justin stood on the table, holding his wand in mid-air. "I've paid my..."
Dues (I have paid the price). — Ready, go!
Someone starts singing, and everyone follows the syllables they give the command to begin.
Harry happily took out his wand and played the accompaniment to the song.
The climax is about to arrive, and the students put their hands on each other's shoulders and sing loudly in unison.
"We Are the Champions, my friends!"
"And we'll keep fighting until the end!"
Just then, Colin raised his camera, pressed the shutter, and captured this happy and carefree moment in a photograph.
They partied until late into the night before reluctantly parting ways.
This is the last celebration for the seventh graders. After the holiday, they will School Opening and embark on their journey into society.
After the Triwizard Tournament, there is still one last course letter to finish.
Dumbledore believed that Voldemort had returned and that students should use every available moment to study.
Since Barty Crouch Jr..'s arrest, there had been a vacancy in the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor. But just when everyone thought the Defense Against the Dark Arts Class would never be taught again, Snape suddenly appeared in the classroom.
This is truly frustrating, since nobody wants to take Snape's classes, whether it's Potions Class or Defense Against the Dark Arts.
But there was no way to resist, so since there was no way to resist, they could only passively accept it.
Ron was the one who suffered. Ever since he fought with Snape in the Great Hall, he had been targeted by Snape.
In one class period, he earned fourteen points deducted.
Snape was pleased, but at the cost of Ron's suffering.
Draco, who was gloating, grinned throughout the entire class, but by the end of the class, he couldn't laugh anymore.
"Mr. Malfoy," Snape's greasy voice rang out, "Since you enjoy laughing so much, you'll need to write an extra paper on Defense Against the Dark Arts during the summer vacation."
The smile didn't disappear; it simply transferred to Ron.
"Serves him right," he whispered gloatingly to Hermione in the Great Hall. "I knew he'd be there soon, but he insisted on waiting a bit..."
Harry had no classes on Friday afternoon, so he decided to go see Hagrid.
So he called Hermione and Ron, and together they went down to Hagrid's Hut to visit him.
It was a bright, sunny day. As soon as they approached, Fang jumped out of the open door, barking happily and wagging its tail.
"Who is it?" Hagrid asked as he walked to the door. "Harry!"
He strode over to greet them, gave Harry a good hug with his thick arm, and ruffled his hair.
He said, "It's so nice to see you, buddy! It's so nice to see you!"
They entered Hagrid's Hut and saw two sets of teacups and saucers the size of buckets on the wooden table in front of the fireplace.
"I had a cup of tea with Olympe," Hagrid said. "She just left."
"Madame Maxime?" Hermione asked with a doting auntie smile. "How's it going between you two? Are you getting married soon? Tell me, tell Hagrid!"
"Hi, nothing much to say."
Despite saying that, Hagrid couldn't stop grinning foolishly.
Even a fool could see that Hagrid and Madame Maxime's relationship was now rapidly heating up.
If nothing unexpected happens, they will definitely reach a conclusion.
We have Sirius to thank for this. If it weren't for his tireless help, Hagrid, with his bluntness, would have angered Madame Maxime long ago.
They stayed with Hagrid for an entire afternoon before leaving.
On the day before the holiday, the school, as usual, prepared a farewell celebration banquet.
When Harry entered the Great Hall, it was decorated in Gryffindor's gold and red as always, making it seem as if the Great Hall belonged to Gryffindor.
When Harry came in, his classmates waved and cheered at him.
The real Mad-Eye Moody now sat at the faculty desk, his wooden legs and magical eyes back in their original positions. He appeared particularly nervous and jumped up in fright whenever someone spoke to him.
Harry knew he couldn't be blamed; after all, Moody had been locked in his trunk for ten months, which must have aggravated his fear of being attacked.
Karkaroff sat in his seat, looking extremely relaxed and quite happy.
As Harry sat down with the other Gryffindor classmates, he thought to himself that Karkaroff must have confirmed that Voldemort would no longer interfere with his normal life.
This is a good thing. Since Karkaroff paid for his past crimes during the trial, it's a good thing that he can escape that shadow and Voldemort's control.
Noticing Harry's gaze, Karkaroff raised the wine on the table and made a toasting gesture towards Harry. Although he was annoying, Harry nodded to him in greeting.
Veratia is right. As a great man once said, we should unite all forces that can be united.
Who knows, Karkaroff might come to his aid someday.
Madame Maxime sat next to Hagrid, and they were talking quietly, looking very pleased.
On the other side of the table, sitting next to Professor McGonagall, was Snape.
When Harry looked at him, his gaze lingered on Harry for a moment—his expression was hard to decipher, looking as gloomy as ever, but after noticing Harry's gaze, Snape still managed a forced smile at him.
It's clear that even though Snape disliked Harry's face, he was willing to start accepting Harry back.
After all, James had already reconciled with him, and Harry himself hadn't angered him; in fact, he was quite nice to him.
After the Great Hall was full, Dumbledore stood up.
Immediately, the Great Hall fell silent, and the students stopped whispering to each other.
"Another year has passed," Dumbledore said, looking at everyone. "It's over."
When Dumbledore said this, his tone was quite heavy. Everyone was curious, since the champion of this Triwizard Tournament was the Hogwarts Champion. Why was his tone so heavy?
"As is customary, we need to announce the scores for each house, but I think we should skip that step. After all, Harry Potter, the hero representing Gryffindor Hogwarts, has won the Triwizard Tournament. I believe no one will object to adding some points to Gryffindor because of this, even though Gryffindor is already the undisputed champion."
At the same time, cheers erupted in the Great Hall.
"Of course, I also want to announce that Harry Potter has once again received the Special Contribution Award for the School, the fourth time he has received this award since he started school."
At this point, Dumbledore raised a hand and tried to suppress the cheers of his classmates.
"The Ministry of Magic doesn't want me to tell you this," Dumbledore continued, "But I will reveal the truth—the real mystery of why Harry Potter received the Special Contribution Award for four consecutive years is about to be solved!"
The students held their breath, waiting to see Dumbledore reveal the truth.
They never imagined that there was a hidden story behind Harry's four consecutive years of receiving the school's Special Contribution Award!
"First of all, I need to tell you that Voldemort is not dead."
As soon as Dumbledore speaking, it was as if something had exploded in the Great Hall.
The students' expressions varied: some were confused, some were afraid, some were surprised, and some were indifferent.
