I'm the School Board Member!
Pabbie frowned upon hearing Umbridge's words.
No, is this so-called High Inquisitor really so lacking in boundaries?
"I don't think this requires your permission, High Inquisitor." Pabbie's expression was serious; this was the first time such Lady kind-hearted person had put on a stern face. "Hogwarts Hogwarts to Hogwarts students, and they have the right to organize any clubs or other organizations within the school that do not violate school rules."
"Including organizations that oppose the Ministry of Magic?" Umbridge still wore that fake smile.
"Do you really think that sweating it out at school, playing Quidditch, can threaten the Ministry of Magic's rule?" Pabbie laughed. "Then the Ministry of Magic is far too fragile."
"This involves authority! The authority of the Ministry of Magic!" Umbridge pleaded earnestly, hoping this school board member trustee was a pragmatic person. "As a Hogwarts school board member, you certainly wouldn't want the Ministry of Magic's authority to be undermined, would you?"
"As you know, I'm merely a Hogwarts school board member, Lady High Inquisitor," Pabbie chuckled. "The Ministry of Magic's authority means nothing to me, Lady, and I don't believe Hogwarts is some low-class wizard who can come and act Hogwarts! I remind you again, High Inquisitor, Hogwarts belongs to Hogwarts students and professors!"
"So, you're planning to go against the Ministry of Magic?" Umbridge asked with a smile.
"You're the Lady who chose to go against me, High Inquisitor." Pabbie slipped away, choosing to deflect the pressure.
Umbridge sighed.
She spoke again, trying to persuade him, "I think you probably don't know this, but you've just returned to Hogwarts —Dumbledore the Ministry of Magic has evidence that some students are secretly plotting activities detrimental to the Ministry of Magic. They are being instructed by Headmaster Dumbledore to attack the Ministry of Magic Ministry of Magic seize its power. Do you really think this is the right thing to do?"
"This is my final statement," Pabbie's face suddenly turned cold. "Hogwarts is a school, not an arena for you corrupt politicians to engage in political intrigue and backstabbing. If you want to stir up trouble at Hogwarts, then as school board member..."
I will absolutely not stand idly by! Please leave, Lady High Inquisitor!
Umbridge's smile vanished. She gave Pabbie a cold stare for a moment, then turned and said, "You'll regret this."
Miss Sweeting!
"Madam Umbridge, I am the school board member!" Pabbie said coldly.
Umbridge glared angrily at Pabbie, then turned and left.
When leaving the house, he made sure to slam the door shut behind him.
The door made a "whoosh" sound as she exerted force on it.
Pabbie sneered as he looked at the closed door.
She took out the Crystal Ball, intending to make a call to Veratia.
Angelina had just walked out of the captain's office in the arena.
"Alright, everyone, listen to me," Angelina said, standing in front of her teammates with her hands on her hips. "I know the weather isn't ideal, but we'll likely be playing Slytherin team in these conditions, so we'd better practice how to play in the rain— Harry, didn't you use some trick to keep your glasses dry during that downpour against Hufflepuff?"
"Yes, this is the Impervius." Harry took out his wand and said, "I can cast this spell on everyone so they won't have to worry about getting wet in the wind and rain."
"That's wonderful!" Angelina exclaimed with a beaming smile.
Harry walked up to his classmates and began to add strong waterproof protection to them.
"This spell is really good, I mean, very practical." Fred chuckled and bounced around a couple of times. "At least I feel less damp, and the wind and rain can't get into my clothes—"
"But High Inquisitor get in," Yang Zhi replied with a lame joke.
"What do you mean?" Fred asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, that's a Muggle saying," George replied. "The wind can come in, the rain can come in, but the king can't—but we all know that's a joke. Now, neither wind nor rain can get into Hogwarts, but High Inquisitor."
"No problem at all," Yang Zhi said with a grin.
"Now that everyone's ready," Angelina said, bolstering her spirits, "Let's get started on training—I know that sleeping in the dorm in this downpour might be a better option, or chatting with everyone by the fireplace."
But we are Quidditch players, we can't be so complacent!
"If you hadn't said that, Captain!" Alicia Spinnet exclaimed, "I really wouldn't have expected such a comfortable environment. Now I'm starting to regret it."
"No going back!" Angelina said lazily. "Let's go!"
They picked up brooms and followed Angelina out of the dressing room.
The group trudged through the increasingly thick mud to the center of the field. Despite the waterproofing spell, visibility was still very low, the light rapidly diminished, and the rain poured down on the field.
"Okay, listen to my whistle," Angelina shouted, "Three-one-too-too!"
Harry leaped into the air, splashing mud everywhere. The wind blew him slightly off-center, but luckily his eyesight was good enough to spot the Golden Snitch.
"Dude!" Ron yelled, "I really don't know how you saw the Golden Snitch —just watching them hit the Bludger is hard enough."
Then, a loud bang was heard.
Ron was nearly hit by the Bludger— the Bludger hit the ring next to him.
Ron was so frightened that he had to use his Sloth Grip Roll to escape, but unfortunately Angelina didn't see it. In fact, she seemed to be blind to everything; they had no idea what anyone else was doing.
The wind grew stronger and stronger; the sound of raindrops hitting the lake could even be heard in the distance from the Quidditch pitch.
Angelina practiced for over an hour before announcing that she was stopping.
She led the team members, who were shivering and grumbling from the cold wind, back to the locker room, insisting that this training session was not a waste of time, although her tone lacked conviction.
"At least we didn't get wet, did we?" she reassured everyone.
"Hey, Captain!" Alicia called out, turning around. "If only we didn't have to feel the wind."
Fred and George were particularly frustrated; both of them developed bowlegs and grimaced with every step they took.
"Several of mine might be broken," Fred said in a somber voice.
"Mine isn't," George said through gritted teeth, "It's terribly swollen—it seems to have gotten even bigger—"
Harry looked puzzled.
I suspect you're driving, but I have no proof.
"Thanks to you, Harry," Fred said, sniffling. "If it weren't for your idea, we might be soaking wet right now, lying in Madam Pomfrey's Hospital Wing wrapped in blankets."
"Perhaps we'll even have some of Madam Pomfrey's special cold medicine," George said, rubbing his backside. "But we don't need to now—how about we all go warm ourselves by the fireplace later?"
"Okay," Harry nodded in agreement.
As Harry entered the castle, he found Anne quietly standing there reading a book, with Sebastian looking on with a disapproving expression.
"Anne! Seber!" Harry raised his hand to greet them.
Upon hearing Harry's voice, Sebastian angrily floated up and then swooped down on Harry like Stuka, aiming a punch at Harry's face, but missed completely.
Sebastian said nothing, gave Harry a peck, and then floated down to the ground.
Harry was completely baffled.
No, buddy?
What are you doing?
Anne stepped forward apologetically. "Harry, don't worry, he might be in a bad mood—how are you? Are you feeling a little cold? Let's go to the Hogwarts Kitchens for some hot drinks, how about Pumpkin Juice?"
"Okay." Harry was a little reluctant to refuse Anne; he knew the little girl had been waiting for him all along.
Then he figured out why Sebastian was so angry.
Oh, so it's because Anne was waiting for me here that this whole thing happened.
"I'll go to the Hogwarts Kitchen with Anne first," Harry said, turning to the others. "Anyone want to come along?"
"You two go ahead," Fred and George said with lewd grins. "We won't get in your way—have fun, you two."
As they were talking, the two brothers grabbed Ron, who wanted to go to the Hogwarts Kitchens for some chicken legs, and said to him seriously, "No, you don't want to."
Yeah, what are you doing in the Kitchen? Just being a third wheel for these two?
To be honest, Harry is indeed very brave—
Look, she's already involved with Miss Grindelwald and Miss Malfoy, and now there's Miss Saru...
No, you're just naturally attractive to Slytherin, aren't you?
After everyone had left, Harry smiled at Anne and said, "Let's go to the Kitchen together."
Harry drank two glasses of Pumpkin Juice in the Kitchen before his hands felt less cold.
Even with the existence of Charms, flying so high in the sky and with such strong winds and rain, the cold is something that ordinary people cannot resist.
Almost an hour later, he returned to the Gryffindor Common Room, satisfied.
By this time, the Common Room was practically empty.
In this weather, everyone would rather go back to their dorm room, lie in their warm blankets, and have a good night's sleep than stand outside looking miserable.
Ron, on the other hand, was sitting reluctantly in the corner, with Hermione sitting next to him, holding a wand and staring at him. Jack was standing on Hermione's shoulder, constantly combing Hermione hair with his mouth.
"Aren't you going to sleep yet?" Harry asked as he walked over.
"Still writing my paper," Ron said listlessly. "It's a Transfiguration Class paper. Hermione insists I finish it right now, or she won't let me sleep—"
"It's good that someone's keeping an eye on you." Harry patted Ron on the shoulder. "In that case, I won't keep you from writing your paper here— Hermione, remember to be strict with him; it's your responsibility to him."
Ron, weary, raised his head, his hand gripping the pen trembling, and asked with a last glimmer of hope:
"Aren't you going to say a few words in my defense?"
"Oh, no." Harry waved his hand. "If I were to speak up for you now, I would be hurting you—" Ron glared at Harry through gritted teeth.
Harry patted Ron on the shoulder, laughed, and left the Common Room.
Ron did not return until he went to sleep.
Correspondingly, after Ron finally finished writing his paper and returned to his dorm, the first thing he did was wake Harry up.
"Harry, Harry!"
Harry groggily opened his eyes and looked outside; it was still dark outside.
He immediately sat up. "What happened! Did something occur?"
"Oh, it's nothing," Ron said, patting him on the shoulder. "I just noticed you weren't sleeping in a very good position, so I wanted you to get up and correct it."
Harry took a deep breath.
No, you fucking—
Never mind.
He rolled his eyes, rolled over, and lay back down on the bed.
The second day's classes weren't early or rushed, and Harry had given his homework to Anne to do, so he was relatively free compared to the other students.
As for 0. WLs?
Harry remembered that a hundred years ago, he had taken the 0. WLs exam and achieved a score of twelve zeros.
Since he had already taken the exam, he didn't think he needed to take it again.
"Sometimes I really envy you," Hermione said, sitting on the stool and watching Harry eat without a care in the world.
"What do you envy about me?" Harry continued wolfing down his sausage and mashed potatoes.
"I envy you for getting twelve zeros!" Hermione said in a low voice.
Of course, she didn't really need to lower her voice, since no one was paying attention to their conversation. The Great Hall was noisy enough to drown out their voices.
Harry smiled, and as he looked up to drink his Pumpkin Juice, he noticed Anne watching him.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked, turning around.
"It's nothing," Anne smiled at Harry. "I just remembered something small."
"Oh, so you need to take the 0. WLs exam," Harry said, putting down his Pumpkin Juice. "I remember you really wanted to go back to school; taking the 0. WLs exam was your dream, wasn't it?"
"Yes." Anne recalled those painful days, but found that when she looked back now, the pain was gone, replaced by a sense of relief.
After crossing a mountain, when you look back, you'll find that the mountain was nothing special, and even the fierce winds and snows you experienced on that mountain were insignificant.
"Hou Yi"
Lee Jordan suddenly walked over and whispered to everyone, "Have you heard? Miss Sweeting and Umbridge had a fight yesterday!"
"Huh?" Fred put down his Prongs and asked in surprise, "Miss Sweeting and Umbridge had a fight? What—wait, how did you know about this?"
"Of course, it was Umbridge herself who said it," Lee Jordan smiled mysteriously. "Yesterday she wrote a letter to the Ministry of Magic, and it severely criticized the uncooperative attitude of the school board member, Miss Sweeting."
