Cruciatus Curse!
"Is it too bright?"
Hagrid and Harry looked up together, trying to find Mars in the sky.
Just as Ronan said, the two spotted it almost immediately: an abnormally bright star in the sky.
"It's certainly dazzling," Hagrid said, then asked, "Have you seen anything strange here lately? There's an injured Unicorn —do you know anything about it?"
Ronan didn't answer Hagrid's question, but instead muttered, "The Mars is very bright tonight."
Hagrid patted Harry helplessly and said to him, "See? Centaurs are always like this. They don't want to give people the answer directly. They always look up at the sky and starry sky—it's so annoying. They seem to care about nothing but the stars. What's worse, they don't even make their points clear..."
A riddle teller?
Harry didn't talk much with the Centaurs; he just beat them up and heard their screams.
He used to think Veratia was a bit too ruthless, but now it seems...
They deserved it!
This is a lesson that riddle solvers deserve!
"But they have good intentions, you see," Hagrid said with a chuckle. "If they don't like something, they just say so. They genuinely love this forest and those Magical Creatures... Let's go."
The two walked past Ronan, who was still gazing at the stars, and continued on their way.
"I think they're a Professor Dumbledore," Harry said to Hagrid, kicking away a branch. "They have the same habit of always leaving things unsaid."
"Now that you mention it, it does seem so." Hagrid shrugged and looked down at the ground. "Look, the ground is covered in the blood of that poor Unicorn, and the tree roots are covered in it too..."
After taking two more steps, they came to a fork in the road.
Along the fork in the road, there were mottled Unicorn Blood, all of which looked fresh, as if they hadn't been there long.
"Let's split up and look for it, Hagrid," Harry said to Hagrid. "I don't think the poor thing has gone very far, and if we get there in time, we might be able to save its life."
"This..." Hagrid hesitated. On the one hand, he wanted to save the poor Unicorn, but on the other hand, he was afraid that Harry would be in danger if he went alone.
"Don't worry, Hagrid, I'll be careful—if I get into danger, I'll send red fireworks into the sky to signal for help," he reassured him again.
Hagrid was clearly persuaded. He nodded and said to Harry, "Alright, I'll assign you Fang —though it's a coward, it's clever enough."
Harry lowered his head; he didn't think the big dog in front of him could be of any use.
Do you think she's our Phoenix Fiona? She can even swallow the Killing Curse for her comrades...?
However, he didn't refuse Hagrid's offer and said to him, "Okay, Hagrid, then I'll take Fang with me."
"Okay, be careful," Hagrid said, lifting his stone bow again and heading toward a side path.
Halfway there, he turned back to confirm again. "Are you really okay? We can actually walk together."
"That poor Unicorn doesn't have much time, Hagrid," Harry said.
After Hagrid disappeared down the path, Harry tucked his own wand back in and took out the captured wand.
He carried Fang and walked forward.
After walking for almost half an hour, he went deeper and deeper into the forest, where the trees became extremely dense and the path was almost impassable.
The bloodstains became increasingly mottled, even pooling into a small silver pit on the ground.
It looks like that poor Unicorn is about to die.
Fang seemed even more agitated, running around at Harry's feet and occasionally grabbing his robe with its mouth, trying to pull him back the way he came.
Harry ignored it and instead followed the direction indicated by the Unicorn Blood to investigate.
In front of him was a clump of ancient oak trees with their branches intertwined, and through those branches, he could see a clearing in front of him.
"Hissing sound..."
A voice groaned in pain, and just by listening to the voice, one could sense its holiness and nobility.
Harry pushed aside the branches and saw a white figure lying on the ground, struggling desperately, with pleading eyes.
He didn't make any rash moves, and instead turned around and cast a Stunning Spell on the still-moving Fang.
Under the Charms, Fang only managed to whimper before collapsing to the ground, unconscious.
At the same time, a rustling sound came from the bushes next to the Unicorn, as if something was crawling inside.
Harry snapped to attention, staring intently at the undulating bushes. Then, a hooded figure emerged from within.
It crawled slowly on the ground, like something twisted and dark, gradually approaching the Unicorn.
Finally, it reached the Unicorn's side, lowered its head, aimed at the Unicorn's wound, and began to gulp down the Unicorn Blood.
"Hissing sound..."
The Unicorn cried out, seemingly seeking help.
It was at this moment that a sharp pain pierced Harry's head, as if his scar had caught fire—the last time he felt this pain was when he saw Sebastian use Avada Kedavra.
Harry forced down the throbbing pain in his forehead, raised his wand, and aimed it at the figure that was harming the Unicorn.
"Stupefy (Stunning Spell)!"
The figure was completely unprepared and was struck by the Stunning Spell, rolling away as if thrown off balance.
Seeing that someone had cast Charms to save it, the Unicorn struggled for a moment, a glimmer of hope flashing in its eyes.
Knocked unconscious?
Harry tiptoed forward slowly, remaining vigilant and cautiously pointing in the direction where the black figure had disappeared.
Just as he expected, the dark figure rose up again from the direction it had disappeared in, looking like the god of death in a black robe and hood—and even more so if it were carrying a scythe.
Just as the figure floated up, the pain from the scar on Harry's forehead intensified, and he could barely hold onto his wand.
He thought he had to do something.
At the same time, the black-clad figure floated upwards and swooped down towards him with a whooshing sound.
The burning pain from the scar made him feel as if something was burning inside his chest.
"Run!"
A clear yet extremely weak female voice came through, as if she had used up all her strength to say those words.
Harry, enduring the pain, covered his scar with one hand and pointed his wand at the black figure lunging at him with the other.
"Cruciatus Curse!"
