Harry and I Have Known Each Other for Over a Hundred Years
After Pabbie finished eating the food Harry had brought, the group sat on the grass and began to chat.
Pabbie lay cross-legged on the ground, beckoning Harry to lean against him.
The others weren't so lucky; the four of them could only sit opposite Harry, watching with envy as Harry was being cuddled by the Unicorn.
"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would have always thought Unicorn only gravitated towards the purest-hearted girls," Hermione said enviously. "But that's not surprising, considering Harry saved Miss Pabbie's life..."
"No, Hermione," Pabbie corrected, "It's not because Harry saved me, it's because Harry and I are old friends."
"Huh? An old friend?!" Everyone asked in surprise.
They all know that Harry grew up with his aunt and uncle and had little contact with the Magical World. How could he possibly be old friends with Unicorn?
Harry tilted his head and asked, "Do you really want to tell me, Pabbie?"
"Yes, Harry and I have known each other for over a hundred years." Pabbie brushed Harry's face with her tail. "To be precise, it's been one hundred and five years!"
"One hundred and five years?!" Hermione did the math in her head: 105 minus 1992...
"How is that possible? One hundred and five years ago was 1887," Hermione said, her face full of disbelief. "Harry only twelve years old now, and you..."
"Unicorn have very long lifespans," Pabbie laughed cheerfully.
"That's impossible, unless Harry time-travels and goes back a hundred years!" Hermione said confidently. "But that's impossible; time travel only happens in science fiction. It's impossible in the real world!"
"Oh, if you don't believe me, fine." Pabbie smiled, telling the truth that this was how it was, and no one would believe it.
"Actually, I've been to the Forbidden Forest before, and that's when I met Pabbie. We became good friends." Harry omitted the part about a hundred years ago and only said vaguely.
This statement was unanimously accepted, and everyone believed it to be the truth.
"It seems you're mistaking Harry for the Harry from a hundred years ago, Miss Pabbie," Ron said, hugging his knees.
"You mean that Harry? I know him too," Pabbie laughed lightly.
"Why--?"
The four children exclaimed in unison, never expecting that this Unicorn Lady would know Harry from a hundred years ago.
"Yes, Harry was quite the star of this school a hundred years ago," Pabbie said with a smile. "Look, like this Forbidden Forest behind us—what do you think of the Forbidden Forest?"
"How about it? Of course it's terrifying!" Seamus said impatiently. "The Forbidden Forest has everything. There are Werewolf, Troll, and I heard there are spiders the size of cars..."
Upon hearing "a spider the size of a car," Ron was completely taken aback.
For the first time in his life, he hated his own vivid imagination. In just a few words, he had already sketched out the general appearance of the spider in his mind.
"Right?" Pabbie gave Harry a meaningful look. "But Harry... every time he goes to the Forbidden Forest, it's like coming home."
"Huh? Really?" the four of them asked in unison.
"Of course it's true," Pabbie said with a smile. "It's very different now than it was a hundred years ago. Back then, you could see a lot of Dark Wizard as soon as you stepped out of the school Hogwarts. The Forbidden Forest was full of poachers. They even had a poachers' association, and they would even auction off Fire Dragon in their black market."
"Those days weren't good for the students either. The area outside Hogwarts was fraught with danger, and there were frequent reports of students being harmed or even killed by Dark Wizard..."
"Then why have they all disappeared?" Hermione asked, puzzled. "Logically speaking, poaching in the Forbidden Forest should be very profitable. I don't believe such a large poaching organization could just vanish without a trace..."
"Of course they're all dead." Pabbie raised his head, a very human smile on his face, "The once most fearsome and intimidating the Ashwinder Party, which even the Ministry of Magic dared not easily provoke, were completely crushed by Harry Potter and his companions. Any Dark Wizard who dared to resist died under the Charms —from then on, the name the Ashwinder Party became history."
"I see..." The four little ones all looked on with admiration.
In their eyes, Pabbie was a witness to history, and what she said must be true.
Moreover, that Harry Potter shares the same name as their Harry Potter, so they naturally feel a strong affinity for that Harry.
"Could you tell us more about Harry and his friends?" Hermione, the Academic Bully, was more interested in this hidden history than anyone else. She looked at Pabbie expectantly, wanting an answer.
Pabbie found a comfortable position and began to tell Hermione the story.
"Yes, Harry has a few good friends, one of whom is Gareth Weasley from Gryffindor..."
At this point, she said to Ron, "It was your ancestor, Ron."
"Yes, it was my great-grandfather!" Ron said, patting his chest with pride, feeling proud that his ancestor had been friends with the great Mr. Potter.
"And Amit Sakkah of Ravenclaw, Pabbie Sweeting Hufflepuff," Pabbie continued, "And Ominis Gaunt and Sebastian Saru of Slytherin."
"In addition, there are two girls who are entangled with Harry: Cassandra Malfoy and Verathea Grindelwald."
At this point, Pabbie glanced slyly at Harry, only to find that the other's expression remained unchanged.
"Grindelwald?!" Seamus frowned. "That surname... I feel like I've heard it somewhere before?"
"The Chocolate Frog Card, of course," Ron said, turning around. "Wasn't the Dark Wizard Dumbledore defeated in 1945 named Grindelwald?"
"Oh, right," Seamus said with a sudden realization, then asked Pabbie, "Miss Pabbie, what is the relationship between Miss Grindelwald and that Dark Wizard Grindelwald?"
"As far as I know, Verathea Grindelwald is Gellert Grindelwald's sister," Pabbie recalled.
"Who would have thought, huh?" Ron turned to his three friends and said, "They're all children of the same parents, one destroys Dark Wizard, and the other becomes Dark Wizard. I really wonder what Grindelwald's reaction would be if she knew her brother had become Dark Wizard..."
"You'd better not let those two Grindelwald hear you say that." Pabbie looked at Ron sympathetically. For some reason, she had a feeling that Ron might fall into Gellert's hands.
Hermione, however, grasped the crux of the matter and looked at Pabbie.
"Miss Pabbie, you just mentioned a Hufflepuff named Pabbie Sweeting? Is your name related to her?"
