Ch. 974The Arrogant Elves

Rayne rejected Oruan’s offer to help reclaim the New Continent in exchange for control of Loboster, refusing to trust the elves or share his territory. After overpowering Phoenix King Aebannun’s envoy, Modant, he sent the elves away with a warning not to enter the New Continent without permission.

  • Rayne told Livlin he would refuse Oruan’s offer, and Livlin explained that the regent was willing to provide resources and a powerful mage corps in return for control of Loboster.
  • Asjiong, Rommath, and Modant appeared in Livlin’s home, where Modant claimed the New Continent belonged to the elves and demanded Rayne recognize the Phoenix King’s will.
  • Rayne refused to divide the New Continent with Oruan, and Modant attacked him with Soul Rend after Rayne insulted the Phoenix King.
  • Rayne stopped time, seized Modant, and used an Antimagic Field to prevent him from escaping or casting spells.
  • Rayne forced Modant to admit that trolls were the ancestors of elves, recorded the admission, and warned him that Oruan’s elves must not enter the New Continent without permission.
  • Rayne expelled Modant, Asjiong, and Rommath from Gotham City and sent them into the wilderness.

Ch. 975Ship No. 2

Rayne suspected the Phoenix King had staged a diplomatic failure to avoid committing Oruan to reclaiming the New Continent, while promising Livlin that the Blood Elves could eventually settle on the East Coast. After overseeing Aiseng’s rapid reconstruction, Rayne launched Ship No. 2, named Gotham, and chose Raleigh City as his next target while postponing a campaign against the Scourge Legion.

  • Rayne told Livlin that Modant and the Phoenix King might have acted to let Oruan avoid responsibility for reclaiming the New Continent, and promised to discuss Blood Elf settlement on the East Coast later.
  • Rayne oversaw Aiseng’s reconstruction, appointed his Level 19 clone Saruman as its city lord, and secretly returned to Kalanos.
  • Rayne inspected the completed second Imperial Class Star Destroyer, named it Gotham, and planned to build four Imperial Class ships before beginning a Victory Class ship.
  • Rayne considered the growing threat of the Death Lord and the Scourge Legion, but decided to wait until his fleet and the Empire were stronger before confronting them.
  • Rayne chose Raleigh City as his next target and launched the Gotham from the mechanical factory.

Ch. 976The Duke's Guard's First Battle

Rayne brought the Duke’s Guard’s First Regiment to Kurgus for its first battle, testing its modern weapons and tactics against a Netherfiend tribe. The regiment annihilated the tribe’s defenders and chief, proving its combat capability as the assault continued.

  • Rayne arrived at the Hamilton Training Base, ordered two thousand First Regiment soldiers and First Company of the Extreme Legion aboard the Star Destroyer, and left the rest of the division to train.
  • Rayne transported the regiment to Kurgus and sent five Armored Combat Skiffs to deploy the soldiers near a Netherfiend tribe of more than twenty thousand members.
  • The First Regiment formed an assault line and used three rocket volleys to devastate the Demonfolk charging out of the tribe, then bombarded the settlement with grenade launchers.
  • More than two hundred Abyssal Knights charged the regiment, but the soldiers broke their Fel Energy shields with rockets and cut them down with machine-gun and grenade fire.
  • The regiment’s Energy Cannons engulfed the tribe’s Legendary High Tier chief and reduced him to ashes as the Abyssal Knights were wiped out.

Ch. 977The Grand Military Exercise

Rayne used the Duke’s Guard to destroy Demonfolk tribes across Kurgus’s territory, building the soldiers’ experience while harvesting souls to create more Rayne’s Heavenly Soldiers. After more than a month of attacks left Raleigh City as the largest remaining stronghold, Rayne ordered three regiments to assault it.

  • The Duke’s Guard defeated a Demonfolk tribe with few casualties, and the soldiers cheered for the Duke before receiving orders to review the battle.
  • Rayne used harvested souls to create more Rayne’s Heavenly Soldiers, then deployed successive regiments to destroy tribes across Kurgus’s territory.
  • Over the next half month, the Duke’s Guard destroyed more than twenty tribes while Kurgus failed to find or ambush them.
  • Demonfolk fled toward Kurgus’s lands, but the attacks continued until the territory’s population fell by seventy percent and Raleigh City became its largest stronghold.
  • Rayne inspected Raleigh City’s defenses from the Star Destroyer, confirmed there were no ambushes, and ordered the three regiments to attack.

Ch. 978Breaching the City

The Duke's Guard breached the demonfolk tribe's defenses with armored combat skiffs, overwhelming its forces and destroying the city wall. As Kurgus fled west, a young human man emerged from a Portal and blocked his path.

  • Fifteen armored combat skiffs approached the tribe from three directions, and the Second Division's First Regiment fought through demonfolk hunters and bombarded the eastern defenses.
  • The Duke's Guard advanced toward the city wall as Kurgus summoned troops from the north and south and sent more than ten thousand Abyssal Knights charging at them.
  • The Duke's Guard teleported away from the Abyssal Knights' charge, and the armored combat skiffs destroyed the knights with Electric Light Cannon fire.
  • The armored combat skiffs from all three formations aimed their cannons at the tribe, causing the demonfolk to flee and Kurgus to escape westward.
  • A young human man stepped through a Portal and blocked Kurgus's path.

Ch. 979BLOOD REBIRTH

Rayne confronted Kurgus, who refused to reveal his agreement with Akeon and tried to flee. With Reslin’s help, Rayne overcame Kurgus’s Blood Rebirth and destroyed him, leaving the Bloodthirsty King’s fate apparently settled.

  • Kurgus blamed Rayne for the destruction of his territory and refused to cooperate against Akeon, so Rayne prepared to kill him.
  • Kurgus fled, but Reslin trapped him with Time Stop while Rayne attacked his Scarlet Blood Domain with lightning and spells.
  • Kurgus survived through Blood Rebirth, struck Rayne with the Blood Spear, and escaped again after Rayne crushed his body.
  • Rayne pursued Kurgus with the Blood Spear, while Reslin froze the space around him and Rayne trapped his blood sea in a Psionic Field.
  • Rayne and Reslin froze time and space, then unleashed more than a hundred Ninth Circle Spells, which obliterated Kurgus.

Ch. 980Anti-Magic Battalion

Rayne defeated Kurgus and the Duke’s Guard destroyed the largest Demonfolk tribe on the New Continent’s East Coast, though the battle cost twelve soldiers’ lives. After studying their losses, Rayne planned specialized units for the future Empire Defense Army and returned to Raleigh City to begin building a new tower centered on Vejestri’s Magic Torch.

  • Rayne confirmed Kurgus was dead, collected the damaged Blood Spear, and returned to the Star Destroyer without absorbing Kurgus’s soul.
  • The Duke’s Guard destroyed the Demonfolk tribe near Raleigh City, pursued the fleeing survivors, and suffered twelve deaths and numerous injuries before withdrawing.
  • Rayne learned that Purgatory Mages had killed nearly all the fallen soldiers and began planning Anti-Magic, Airborne, and Reconnaissance Battalions for the Empire Defense Army.
  • Rayne finalized a division structure built around a Star Destroyer, infantry regiments, specialized battalions, Armored Combat Skiffs, and Sky-Piercing Colossi.
  • Rayne returned to the burned Demonfolk tribe with Rayne’s Heavenly Soldiers, Dwarven craftsmen, and materials to build a tower centered on Vejestri’s Magic Torch.

Ch. 981Rentering the Abyss

Rayne planned to reclaim the East Coast of the New Continent while sending disguised Heavenly Soldiers to infiltrate Akeon’s army. After Elotisia asked him to help her conquer the southern Gamalan Plains, Rayne learned that the strongest Demon Lord there, Balor, might have an Abyssal Lord backing it.

  • Rayne planned to rebuild Raleigh City, then Loboster, and eventually attack the Evil Orcs and Terror Demon King within five years.
  • Rayne found a destroyed Teleportation Array near Kurgus’s former tribe and suspected Akeon had abandoned a plan to send reinforcements.
  • Rayne disguised Heavenly Soldiers as Netherfiend Demonfolk and sent them to infiltrate Akeon’s forces, with plans to expand the spy network.
  • Over the next month, the Duke’s Guard cleared the area around Raleigh City, while more than two hundred disguised Heavenly Soldiers joined the fleeing Demonfolk.
  • Elotisia met Rayne aboard the Glamorgan Star Destroyer and asked for his help defeating the five Demon Lords on the southern shore of the Gamalan Plains.
  • Rayne agreed to take on the Demon Lords, but his expression changed when Elotisia warned that Balor might be backed by an Abyssal Lord.

Ch. 982Upper Lord

Rayne and Elotisia planned an assault on the southern Demon Lords, identifying the Upper Lord Brucantik and Warlock Sel as major threats. Elotisia ordered her commanders to march south across the Gamalan River toward Luodong Yanbao, while Rayne and Reslin prepared to eliminate two enemy leaders.

  • Elotisia told Rayne that Brucantik was an Upper Lord who served an unknown Abyssal Lord and ruled the southern bank alongside four Demon Lords.
  • Rayne decided to fight despite the danger, planning to retreat with the Dark Angel Legion if the Abyssal Lord appeared.
  • Rayne and Elotisia chose to strike Warlock Sel first, and Rayne assigned Reslin to kill the Abomination King.
  • Rayne transformed into a Nightmare Demon and returned with Elotisia to Dragon's Watch Fortress.
  • Elotisia summoned Pasuvio and her Archdemon commanders, then ordered their armies to cross the Gamalan River and attack Luodong Yanbao.

Ch. 983Warlock Slayer

Elotisia led her demon army south to challenge the other lords of the Gamalan Plains while Rayne and Reslin struck at two Demon Lords. Rayne destroyed Sel’s tower core and killed the Warlock Lord, while Reslin’s attack on the Abomination King remained underway.

  • Elotisia rode Pasuvio at the head of her army as the demons crossed the Gamalan River, and Brucantik signaled the other Demon Lords to gather their forces.
  • Rayne entered Sel’s territory and found the Warlock Lord inside his tower, while Reslin located the Abomination King in its underground lair.
  • Reslin cast Time Stop and prepared to attack the Abomination King as Rayne ambushed Sel in his laboratory.
  • Sel escaped Rayne’s first sword strikes with teleportation and Substitute Death, so Rayne destroyed the tower’s teleportation arrays and control core.
  • Rayne tracked Sel to a meditation chamber, pierced his defenses with Dimensional Anchor and Antimagic Field, and killed him with a sword strike.

Ch. 984Tenth Circle Summoning Hellfire

Rayne killed the Shadow Ghost Mother and gathered a huge amount of Soul Power while Elotisia’s army attacked Brucantik’s fortress. As Brucantik summoned hundreds of Hellfires and prepared to fight Elotisia, Rayne appeared before the Balor and declared himself its opponent.

  • Rayne and Reslin destroyed the warlock lord and the Abomination King, and Rayne used the resulting Soul Power to advance My World nearly to activation.
  • As Elotisia’s forces battled across the Gamalan River, Rayne killed the Shadow Ghost Mother and used Psionic Storms to harvest the souls of thousands of demons.
  • Elotisia’s Dark Angels advanced on Luodong Yanbao while Brucantik demanded to know where the other Demon Lords were; Elotisia told him they were dead.
  • Brucantik summoned more than five hundred Hellfires, but the Dark Angels escaped the bombardment zone and the explosions struck his own demons.
  • Brucantik prepared to attack Elotisia, but Rayne appeared before him and said that he was the Balor’s opponent.

Ch. 985The Soul of the Infernal Demon

Rayne fought Brucantik while concealing his identity, using his strength, psychic abilities, and magic to overcome the Balor. After Brucantik’s Flame Rebirth activated, Rayne captured its hidden soul in a Soul Stone, leaving the Balor unable to resurrect.

  • Brucantik sent Vituka to attack Elotisia and challenged Rayne, who chose to fight without revealing his full power.
  • Rayne overpowered Brucantik in a clash of swords, then used psychic magic to track and strike it through its Firestorm.
  • Brucantik weakened Rayne with Molten Ray and tried to escape by teleporting, but Rayne interrupted the spell and trapped it in a Psionic Field.
  • Rayne weakened and stunned Brucantik before severing its head and wings with a Critical Annihilation.
  • Brucantik’s body triggered Flame Rebirth, but Rayne located its hidden soul and absorbed it into a Soul Stone.

Ch. 986The Burning Legion

Rayne killed Brucantik, allowing Elotisia to unify the Gamalan Plains and take command of its demon armies. As the victors gathered in Luodong Yanbao, Rayne sensed a colossal worm opening a passage from the 399th layer of the Abyss toward the castle.

  • Rayne killed Brucantik, captured his Demon Soul, and displayed the Balor's corpse to announce his death across the battlefield.
  • Vituka surrendered to Elotisia, and she ordered Vituka and Pasuvio to stop the fighting and withdraw their armies.
  • Elotisia's forces returned to Dragon's Watch Fortress, while Rayne had the Dark Angels collect Hellfire Cores for Reslin to study.
  • Rayne entered Luodong Yanbao with Elotisia and imagined developing Reslin's Hellfire-summoning spell into a powerful Burning Legion.
  • Rayne sensed danger and discovered a gigantic worm from the 399th layer opening a planar passage into Luodong Yanbao's lava pool.

Ch. 987Devouring Worm

A Devouring Worm sent by the Crawler emerged beneath Luodong Yanbao and devastated the Gamalan Plains in revenge for Brucantik’s death. As Elotisia considered abandoning the region, Rayne said he might be able to kill the creature.

  • The ground trembled, and Rayne warned Elotisia that a Devouring Worm was emerging, prompting the demons to evacuate Luodong Yanbao.
  • Rayne identified the creature as a divine messenger of the Crawler, Uldren, and the Devouring Worm hollowed out the fortress’s foundations and caused it to collapse.
  • The Devouring Worm sprayed corrosive mucus at fleeing demons, devoured the dead, and moved across the Gamalan Plains to continue its slaughter.
  • Elotisia realized the worm’s rampage was divine revenge for Brucantik’s death, while Vituka warned that its Immortal Body made it nearly impossible to kill.
  • Elotisia asked Rayne to find a way to stop the Devouring Worm, and Rayne said he might be able to kill it.

Ch. 988Devouring and Wormholes

Rayne tried to kill the Devouring Worm with a barrage of Ninth Circle spells while hiding from the attention of Uldren, but none of them worked. After examining the monster’s soul up close, he discovered a hidden rune that appeared to be a curse from The Crawler Uldren.

  • Rayne explained that the Devouring Worm’s immense vitality, Immortal Body, Devouring, and Wormhole abilities made it nearly impossible to kill by conventional means, so he planned to attack its soul with magic.
  • Rayne used Mind Leap to approach the Devouring Worm, but Uldren noticed him; Rayne invoked Wish Spell to cast Death Finger and several other Ninth Circle spells, signaling his supposed connection to Vejestri.
  • The Devouring Worm survived every spell, sprayed slime at Rayne, then lost track of him and burrowed away.
  • Rayne considered whether he needed Tenth Circle magic, but chose not to expose the Star Destroyer while Uldren watched.
  • Rayne approached the Devouring Worm again and used Soul Eye to find a deeply hidden, Divine Power-infused rune within its soul, which he realized was a curse from Uldren rather than a blessing.

Ch. 989Blind Foolishness

Rayne discovered that the Devouring Worm's soul was cursed by Uldren's Foolishness Curse, which left it immune to mental attacks and under the Crawler's control. After using the Wish Spell to remove the curse and spending nearly four thousand Soul Power, Rayne subdued the Devouring Worm and began a new plan to control it while preserving its body.

  • Rayne used Prophecy Spells to foresee that Reslin would control the Devouring Worm, then followed it as it devoured nearly three hundred thousand demons.
  • Rayne wished for the Foolishness Curse to be removed, spending nearly four thousand units of Soul Power as Uldren's divine manifestation was erased from the worm's soul.
  • The freed Devouring Worm panicked and tried to escape, but Rayne blocked its wormhole and battered it with Ninth Circle Mind Blasts.
  • Rayne used Mind Control to make the Devouring Worm his slave, but worried that the unstable control could be dispelled.
  • Rayne realized he could extract the Devouring Worm's Demon Soul while preserving its body, then invoked the Ninth Circle Ow'o Soul Breaking Art.

Ch. 990Level 23 Wizard

Rayne used the Ow'o Soul Breaking Art to separate the Devouring Worm's soul, then had Reslin possess its empty body. After fusing with the Devouring Worm's Demon Soul and reaching level 23, Rayne saw the long-awaited activation of My World finish.

  • Rayne separated the Devouring Worm's Demon Soul with the Ow'o Soul Breaking Art and stored it in a Soul Stone.
  • Rayne's Sub-Mind Chip failed to fuse with the empty shell, so Reslin used True Spirit Possession Art to take control of the Devouring Worm.
  • Rayne told Elotisia that the Devouring Worm was under his control and sent it through a Wormhole to the Underdark.
  • Rayne inspected the Devouring Worm's abilities, fused its Demon Soul, and reached level 23 without losing any of its five Legendary Elements.
  • My World's pixel icon stopped flashing and split into nine colored sections, completing its activation.

Ch. 991Pixel World

Rayne discovered that the Pixel World contained a super Crafting Table and could be expanded with Soul Diamonds, but it weakened anyone inside and could not capture resisting targets on its own. He then found that his Devouring ability could send swallowed matter into the Pixel World, and that digesting matter could expand it as well.

  • Rayne entered the Pixel World, discovered that it turned him into a powerless block person, and learned that its Crafting Table could craft, enhance, enchant, brew, and disassemble items.
  • Rayne tried enhancing Brucantik the Balor's Executioner's Sword with materials and Soul Diamonds, but the enhancement failed and consumed the ingredients.
  • Rayne discovered that Soul Diamonds condensed from battery power could boost Crafting Table success rates and expand the Pixel World, though expanding it to a large size would require enormous amounts of energy.
  • Rayne concluded that the Pixel World could weaken intruders but could not forcibly contain enemies unless they entered willingly, and he could not unfold it as a domain or open a portal.
  • Rayne used the Devouring ability to swallow a Fine Iron ingot and send it into the Pixel World, realizing he could forcibly transport swallowed enemies there.
  • Rayne digested the Fine Iron ingot and directed its energy into the Pixel World, confirming that the space expanded slightly.

Ch. 992The Succubus's Taste

Rayne discovered that devouring living creatures expanded the Pixel World far more efficiently than consuming ordinary matter, then explored the Crafting Table and prepared to support Elotisia’s conquest of the Flog Basin. After warning her to prioritize her safety, he and Elotisia became intimate, and she gained strength from draining his life essence.

  • Rayne devoured Brucantik’s corpse and doubled the Pixel World’s volume to more than two thousand cubic meters.
  • Rayne tested the Crafting Table’s synthesis, enchanting, alchemy, enhancement, and disassembly functions, then turned the Pixel World into a mechanized factory and portable storage space.
  • Elotisia reported that she had brought four million demons of the Gamalan Plains under her rule, and Rayne told her to advance into the Flog Basin while putting her safety first.
  • Elotisia revealed her desire to become one with Rayne, and they made love on the Star Destroyer’s bridge.
  • Elotisia drained Rayne’s life essence during their encounter, but his resilience let him endure it, and her strength surged.

Ch. 993Dragon Valley

Rayne gave Elotisia Soul Diamonds that strengthened both her Sacred Blood Power and Mind Power, then returned to Gotham City to oversee major infrastructure plans. He later traveled to the Kanord Icefield and entered the hidden paradise inside a Progenitor Dragon’s remains, where he was greeted by Borchi.

  • Elotisia absorbed a Soul Diamond and discovered she could convert its energy into both Sacred Blood Power and Mind Power without upsetting their balance.
  • Rayne gave Elotisia more than a dozen Soul Diamonds, and she showed her gratitude with the Life-Draining Kiss.
  • Rayne returned to Gotham City, spent time with Franciska, and approved plans for a railway and connected roads across the East Coast cities.
  • Rayne traveled to the Kanord Icefield and used the Key of the Gate to open a portal hidden in a fossil beneath the Progenitor Dragon’s remains.
  • Rayne entered the lush hidden canyon and was greeted by Borchi, who asked what had brought him there.
