The Sneaky Player in the Martian Faction

It had been mentioned before that the Mario world was probably the dungeon in all of Chosen Space with the largest number of Novice Trial scenarios and the highest rate of contact among the Player Community.

The guidance Mario's first generation achieved through level design could be called textbook-perfect.

With just a few simple Shy Guys, a pile of ordinary and question-mark blocks, and a green pipe blocking the way, it guided players into mastering most of the game's controls. That textbook-level guidance had likewise carried over into Chosen Space.

However, corresponding to the dungeon's own simplicity, the items inside generally had rather powerful effects and usually carried a hint of conceptual rules.

Super Mushrooms, Fire Flowers, Ice Flowers, Cat Bells, Miner's Hammers, Life-Awarding Mushrooms, and so on...

Unless they dropped from treasure chests or one possessed a special Mushroom Pocket, most items in the Mario world could only be consumed within the dungeon and could not be taken out.

And the Super Mushroom that Root of Mars had eaten was Mario world's most iconic item. It could enlarge a person's body, enhance their strength, and grant them 1 point of absolute health.

Although the price was losing all of the Super Mushroom's buffs, purely in terms of its effects, it was already better than the Knight Armor Cheng Tian had acquired in Demon World Village.

But as always, while the Mario world produced plenty of items, very few ever entered the market.

Since Root of Mars, as something not produced by Metal Slug, could use this item, it necessarily meant that an Outsider had fed it to him.

And the only possibility was an individual player who had originally existed within this faction.

So the question was, was that person still hiding aboard the ship, or had they left
