Before Ye Su’s Arrival

Bibi Dong joined Martial Soul Hall with the ambition of leading it to heights beyond those achieved by the First Generation Pope. Her later pursuit of power was entangled with hatred, painful memories, and resentment toward people she had once trusted 6.

Her former teacher, Qian Xunji, drugged, imprisoned, and forced himself upon her. She subsequently bore Qian Renxue, an unwanted daughter whose hopeful attention remained a source of distress. She also remembered a former lover who had fled and changed his heart; later passages identify Yu Xiao Gang as her old flame 6 20 35 36.

Bibi Dong killed Xiao Wu’s mother, Ah Rou, making her the target of Xiao Wu’s intended revenge 14.

Opposition to the Lord

When angels descended for Ye Su’s birth, Bibi Dong noticed that the Worship Hall had prepared for the delivery with greater caution than it had shown for Qian Renxue’s birth. The angels’ presence frightened her because of her martial souls’ evil attributes 4.

Becoming Lucifer

After witnessing Ye Su rejuvenate Qian Daoliu and grant him a tenth soul ring, Bibi Dong recognized that she could not oppose him and knelt voluntarily. Ye Su acknowledged her suffering, embraced her, and used Holy Light to forcibly purify her emotions. Her resistance shifted toward acceptance 10.

Ye Su then bestowed the name Lucifer, describing her as the Morning Star of dawn. Her hair became golden, her martial souls lost their dark attributes, and she thanked him with unprecedented devotion.
