Background / History

Ye Su is a transmigrator who arrives in the Douluo Plane with a female-oriented Role-playing System. Rather than pursue the system's intended route of courting powerful women, he chooses the God Template and resolves to make the Douluo Continent his domain. His Prestige Points initially come partly from village gossip over Ye Lingtong's unexplained pregnancy. 2

He chooses Ye Lingtong as the vessel for his incarnation because of her pure Light Element martial soul and virginity. While still unborn, he evolves her martial soul, manipulates the Angel Statue's relationship to his authority, and draws Martial Soul Hall's attention. 2 4 6

After his angel-assisted birth, Ye Su declares himself the sole God and changes the world's fundamental order: believers may enter Heaven, while the wicked are destined for Hell. The Douluo Heavenly Dao rejects his presence, however, forcing him into a six-year slumber while Qian Daoliu seals and guards the Angel Sanctuary. 6 7

Upon awakening, Ye Su openly takes control of Martial Soul Hall. He remakes Qian Daoliu into Michael, purifies and renames Bibi Dong as Lucifer, and turns Qian Renxue into the Eight-Winged Angel Gabriel through fabricated memories of an angelic past life. 10 11 12

Ye Su is initially born as an infant but later appears as a holy-looking youth in white robes. His presence is consistently accompanied by divine radiance and an authority that makes even powerful Spirit Masters submit. 5 10 14

Reformation of Martial Soul Hall

After awakening, Ye Su turns Martial Soul Hall into the center of his faith. He remakes Qian Daoliu, Bibi Dong, and Qian Renxue into Michael, Lucifer, and Gabriel, respectively, while assigning them roles in spreading and enforcing his authority. 10 11 12 13

Xiao Wu and Raphael's Rebirth
