Anakin and Obi-Wan uncovered the Separatists’ droid armies as the Clone Wars began, while the Republic’s invasion of Geonosis suffered a disastrous defeat. Tang Xiao then launched the Fourth Civilization’s offensives, beginning with the invasion of Bespin.

• Obi-Wan discovered the clone army on Kamino, identified Jango Fett as its Primarch, and pursued him to Geonosis after he fled.
• Darth Malthael revived Shmi after her death, but she returned with severe dementia, while Anakin left for Geonosis after Obi-Wan called for help.
• Anakin and Obi-Wan discovered Geonosis’s droid factories, and Tang Xiao watched the Separatists prepare for war as the Republic granted Sheev Palpatine emergency powers and established the Grand Army.
• Master Windu led Jedi into battle over Geonosis, where Separatist forces trapped Obi-Wan and Anakin and Republic clones arrived to rescue them.
• Sefrans Tann’s fleet destroyed much of the Republic fleet, while Tang Xiao’s forces withdrew after devastating the battlefield and the Separatist leaders escaped.

The Fourth Civilization seized Bespin and prepared to defend it as the Republic mounted a counterattack, while Tang Xiao’s maneuvers prolonged the war and expanded the Confederacy’s reach. The Republic reached Bespin’s Floating Cities, where Tang Xiao’s specialized fighters and ships began countering its assault.

• Huang Yehao’s troops captured Cloud City, and Miera Figo and Santamaria fled Bespin as the Fourth Civilization advanced across the Floating Cities.
• Palpatine sent sixty Hunter Class Battlecruisers toward the front, while Depa Barris’s fleet broke through Trench’s blockade at Geonosis and helped evacuate the battered Republic army.
• Trench and Grievous inflicted heavy losses during the nine-day battle, and Master Yoda ordered regular soldiers and Clone Troopers left behind before the Republic escaped Geonosis.
• Matt Hona fortified Bespin, while Lin Nanyi forced Cerea to join the Confederacy and Sefrans Tann began her operation at Kyl Station.
• Tann and Edra Kestis restarted the factory and attacked the Clone Troopers, but Jett died delaying Darth Lilim and the Republic survivors retreated without recovering Bo-Dai.
• Big Boss bought Boorka’s Extractor intelligence, while Tang Xiao prepared to defend Bespin without reinforcements and promised to eliminate the Jedi himself.
• Matt Hona’s fleet fought Green Beatty’s Republic force near Bespin, using Gauss platforms and Wraith fighters to destroy Republic squadrons and damage the Jianghai.
• Green Beatty and Aiden Ward led the Republic assault toward Bespin’s Floating Cities, where Tang Xiao’s Stilat corvettes and Shriken frigates revealed specialized weapons against Republic fighters.

The Fourth Civilization defeated the Republic at Bespin, while Sefrans Tann captured Alaris satellite and secured the Extractor technology. Tang Xiao then recruited the Protoss Zekrath to help study the Force and ancient technology, leaving their alliance poised to expand.

• Matt Hona’s forces drove the Republic from Bespin, and Darth Malthael turned Ulu-Ulix to the Dark Side after defeating Green-Betty and Aiden-Ward.
• Sheev Palpatine used the Republic’s losses to push conscription and shipbuilding as Anakin Skywalker prepared to leave for the Tion Cluster.
• Darth Malthael and Tur Ulan entered Lucien Draay’s tomb in search of Kresh’s Gauntlet, where Malthael spoke with Lucien Draay’s spirit.
• Sefrans Tann led the Separatist invasion of Alaris satellite, outmaneuvered Joel Drakas’s forces, and killed him as the Confederacy occupied the world.
• Sefrans Tann captured the Extractor facilities and tested the prototypes by destroying a research institute, while Tang Xiao resolved to awaken a Protoss to counter Darth Sidious.
• Tang Xiao met Zekrath, who agreed to cooperate and help study Force technology in exchange for support reviving the Shelak Tribe.

Tang Xiao’s forces captured Sarapin and its Extractor data while Shen-Jon fought to stop them, and Tang Xiao began testing the power of Kresh’s Gauntlet. After the Republic and Confederacy suffered spreading unrest, Passel Argente and the Retail Clan moved to exploit the Kroydon uprising on Christophsis.

• Tang Xiao awakened Protoss allies, arranged for Geth support, and promised the Shelak Tribe a colony on Thonner before entering Lucien Drai’s tomb.
• Edra Kestis awoke after Joel Drakas’s death with a golden glimmer in her Kyber Crystal, while Tang Xiao chose Christophsis as his next target for its Kyber Crystal deposits.
• Sefrans Tann captured Satellite 426 and used Extractors to break Sarapin’s defenses, causing widespread blackouts across Core Worlds planets.
• Shen-Jon and Stam Reath fought Tann’s forces on Sarapin, but Tann killed Stam Reath before Shen-Jon nearly killed her and Edra Kestis intervened.
• Tang Xiao tested Kresh’s Gauntlet against Jedi Masters Gryn Bettie and Aiden Ward, using its barrier and Force power to defeat them.
• Darth Malthael and Darth Tenebrus agreed to pursue Essence Transfer as a way to preserve pilots’ souls, memories, and life essence in backup bodies.
