Background

Kazuki is a transmigrator who had lived in the ninja world for fifteen years by the time of his introduction. His presence and participation in the Third Shinobi World War altered the expected timeline; Konoha had deliberately suppressed his accomplishments despite his battlefield ability. 2 3

As a descendant of Uchiha Kagami and Shisui’s elder brother, Kazuki was regarded as a gifted member of the Uchiha peace faction. Shisui asked him to act as a bridge between the clan and Konoha, and Kazuki agreed to intervene before the expected Uchiha downfall. 2 3

Kazuki later loses his sight amid the Mangekyo theft incident and insists on recovering Kagami’s eyes rather than accepting a replacement pair from Setsuna. He subsequently takes and preserves Shisui’s Mangekyo eyes while pursuing the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. 9 14 26 27
