Queens.

Ben and Gwen knew these roads like the back of their hand, as if they were etched into their DNA.

Before long, the two saw a house.

"This feels much newer than the house in my universe. Is this really Peter's house?" Gwen asked doubtfully. "I mean, could it be that the address has changed because it's in a different universe?"

Although the house in front of her didn't look luxurious, it was very new, making it hard for Gwen to connect it with the poor family she remembered the Parker Family from.

Ben nodded.

"It's definitely not the classic version, but this universe's Peter is quite different too."

He walked to the door and rang the doorbell.

A moment later, a gray-haired woman opened the door and looked at Ben and Gwen with surprise.

They both changed into ordinary clothes, and now they looked no different from ordinary high school students.

Who are you?

"Hello, I'm Gwen..."

Gwen's voice suddenly caught in her throat halfway through her sentence.

Oh no!

He rushed over in a moment of impulsiveness, only to find Aunt May opening the door. Now things were going to be difficult to explain!

Gwen's expression was strange, clearly realizing that in this Parallel Universe, Aunt May might actually know her, which would be difficult to explain.

Thinking of this, her expression became abstract, and she uttered a syllable that sounded like a rooster.

"... Da."

Aunt May:???

Where did this "Kun" come from?

"Uh, my name is Gwen, Da..."

That name sounds really strange.

Aunt May glanced at Gwen and thought to herself.

Out of politeness, she naturally wouldn't say those words aloud.

Not only that, she kept subtly signaling to Ben out of the corner of her eye, urging him to watch his words and not to let anything slip.

So, Ben and Aunt May both saw Gwen wink and squint so hard that a fly could be trapped in her eyelids.

This child is quite cute, but I didn't expect him to be a bit slow-witted.

Aunt May sighed sympathetically.

What are you doing?

Ben rolled his eyes at her, then said to Aunt May, "Aunt May, we're here to see Peter."

He already knew about the state of the universe, so unlike Gwen, he didn't worry about this or that.

"We come from different universes. She is Gwen Stacy, and I am Ben Parker. We are both Spider-Man."

As Ben spoke, he raised his hand and shot a spider Silk towards Gwen's head.

Oh!

Gwen cried out, then roared angrily, "Why did you shoot me again?"

"It's hard to clean up on the floor."

Ben said matter-of-factly.

"You're talking nonsense!"

"It should dissolve in two hours!"

Gwen angrily tugged at the white Silk in her hair.

It's harder to clean if you get it in your hair!

"And why did you tell everyone? We can't let Aunt May know about these things; Peter will worry."

"Don't worry, I already knew."

Aunt May watched Ben and Gwen arguing, her expression stiff, unsure of what to do.

Although she already knew her nephew was Spider-Man, the concept of Parallel Universe was a bit too difficult for her to grasp.

And Ben Parker...

She glanced at Ben, who shared the same last name as her, and stepped aside.

"Why don't you come inside and talk?"

It concerns Peter, Aunt May doesn't want to discuss it at her doorstep.

So the three of them went inside together. Gwen asked in surprise, "I didn't expect you to know that Peter is Spider-Man? Did he tell you himself?"

Then she became conflicted again.

If Aunt May knew Peter's true identity, should she also explain it to her father?

Gwen was conflicted because her father always believed she was a villain threatening the city and insisted that Spider-Woman was the one who killed Peter.

She was very worried about what choice her father would make if she revealed her identity.

Accept yourself?

Or perhaps, to uphold justice even at the cost of family ties, one should arrest oneself?

Gwen looked at Aunt May, and if she could, she would love to know how Peter and Aunt May in this universe would handle this matter.

Aunt May led them to sit on the sofa, poured them both tea, and then replied, "He didn't want to tell me; I guessed it myself."

As she spoke, Aunt May laughed.

"How could I not recognize my nephew?"

My dad didn't recognize me.

Gwen shrank back, holding the tea in both hands like an abandoned puppy, and said sadly.

It was one thing before there was no comparison, but now that Gwen is compared to Aunt May, she feels even more resentful towards her father.

Not recognizing his own daughter is one thing, but to mistake her for a murderer and unleash a zero-frame, American-style Iaijutsu attack upon first meeting—who could withstand that?

Fortunately, she hadn't forgotten that she had other tasks to complete, and it was impossible for her to mention Peter's death to Aunt May.

Even Peter from another universe.

"So, what about Peter?"

"He hasn't lived with me for a long time," Aunt May said nostalgically. "He moved out after graduating from college and bought a new house after marrying Mary Jane. But don't worry, I've already called him."

Ben still felt a little strange when he heard Aunt May mention Mary Jane.

However, he knew better than anyone that individuals in different universes are all different.

They only share the same name and similar appearance; otherwise, they are different.

In countless universes, there is Mary Jane who deeply loves Peter; and there is also Mary Jane who is a scheming, manipulative woman.

If we're really talking about genetics, the resemblance between this universe's Mary Jane and his Mary Jane isn't even as strong as that of twins.

Ben was pondering this, Aunt May fixed her gaze on him and finally asked the question that had been puzzling her most.

"You say you're Parker... what is this?"

"In my universe, I'm the child you and Uncle Ben adopted, but only a little bit older than Peter. I wasn't used to calling them Mom and Dad before Peter led Peter astray," Ben explained.

Then he talked about his own timeline, and when Aunt May heard that Ben was still alive and well in that timeline, she couldn't help but tear up.

Gwen gave him a light, envious kick and said, "You said Peter in this universe is happy and fulfilled? You're even more outrageous than him."

Who would have thought that this teenage high school student was actually the richest person in all of America?

Ben shrugged.

He got to where he is today entirely because of his own hard work!

Right, Little Broken Watch?

Little Broken Watch:...

See, even the Little Broken Watch has no objections.

The three chatted briefly, and around midnight, Peter from this universe finally arrived.

"Aunt May, what's wrong?"

Peter jumped in through the window, just like Crow did when he jumped out of a car window.

He was still wearing his classic red and blue suit, clearly indicating that his Super Hero career for the night was not yet over.

"I'm investigating the unusual events that have been happening in Brooklyn these past few days...?"

Before Peter even landed, his entire body jolted as if he'd been electrocuted, and his whole appearance transformed into that of a hedgehog.

Then he noticed Ben and Gwen sitting on the sofa.

Hey, you guys?

What exactly is this?

Peter was rambling incoherently, having been saved countless times over the past few years by his Spider-Sense.

But he had never felt this way before.

It's not danger, but rather—their own kind.

He squinted, looking at Ben and Gwen with a mixture of surprise and wariness. However, seeing that they were both holding tea brewed by Aunt May, and that Aunt May was sitting steadily beside them, Peter didn't think they were bad guys.

"Are you Spider-Man too?"

"What exactly is going on?"

"Okay, let's do it again." Ben started with the classic opening of every Spider-Man movie.

"My name is Ben Parker. I got this watch when I was ten years old, which turns me into Alien Hero. Then, eight months ago, I accidentally ate the spider that bit Peter, and that's how I became the second Spider-Man in that universe. But most of the time, I just use the watch."

Peter:???

ah?

Did you eat a spider?

Not only Peter, but even Gwen subconsciously shifted her little bottom, moving half a centimeter away from Ben.

"I still feel nauseous after hearing it a second time," she said.

Then Gwen introduced herself in the same format.

My name is Gwen Stacy--

"Etc!"

Peter interrupted Gwen, which made Gwen a little unhappy.

"You're Gwen Stacy?" Peter asked, his eyes wide. "But I know a Gwen Stacy, and she's not like you."

"The Multiverse, we've talked about this topic far too many times," Gwen said, briefly explaining the Multiverse once more. As for her self-introduction, she kept it much shorter.

Peter took off the hood, revealing blond hair.

"It's astonishing that the Multiverse actually exists!"

"I was surprised by this once too," Gwen reminded her.

"Sure enough, with so many Spider-Man gathered together, there's bound to be a lot of useless chatter," Ben muttered.

To be honest, he's already one of the more taciturn types in Spider-Man.

Let's keep things simple and get down to business.

"Gwen and I come from different universes, and the reason we're here is because this universe is experiencing Multiverse collision crisis." Ben tossed his phone, and several 3D images were projected into the air.

"And the one who started this was Kingpin."

"Wait, how did you know?" Gwen frowned, sensing that things weren't so simple.

Ben came to this universe with her and the two have never been apart. It's as if he knows this place inside and out, even more than Peter, a local.

Is this reasonable?

"My AI, Eunice, has been gathering information since she arrived in this universe."

Ben explained.

"You even have artificial intelligence?!" Gwen raised her voice, looking at Ben as if he were an alien.

No, buddy?

Are you really Spider-Man?

"You seem to be living a little too well," Gwen said enviously. "Why do you have everything, while I have nothing?"

If all the Spider-Man in the Spider-Verse are brothers, then Ben is like the one who inherited the only family fortune.

All the other Spider-Man pale in comparison to him.

Putting everything else aside, just having Uncle Ben is enough to defeat 99% of Spider-Man.

"I also want to experience something different!"

Gwen said.

"Want something different? Easy!" Seeing her like this, Ben couldn't help but tease her, "Want to try the Symbiote suit?"

"Symbiote suit? Venom?" Peter frowned slightly.

That's no good stuff.

But Ben smiled mysteriously and waved his hand, "No, it's Super-Kill!"

What is Symbiote?

As a complete newbie, Gwen didn't know anything about this and immediately asked in a naive and innocent way.

Peter tried to explain, but Ben covered his mouth and said to Gwen, "You'll find out soon enough."

Just tell me if you want it or not!

"Yes!"

Gwen nodded frantically. "If you give it to me, I'll definitely take it!"

She couldn't wait any longer.

"Why don't we go and take down Kingpin right now!"

"Have you forgotten the time paradox?"

Ben tapped her on the head, and Gwen clutched her head in Gwen, tears welling in her eyes.

"What's going on here?"

Ben patiently explained their situation again. Peter was a veteran with plenty of combat experience.

"So, we must ensure that a collision occurs."

He said, stroking his chin.

"It's not just that. Because the collision event affected the Multiverse, causing spacetime chaos, there might not be just the two of us Spider-Man in this universe; many more people could appear at different points in time."

Ben said, "We have to find them and send them back, otherwise—"

Before he could finish speaking, Gwen, who was sitting next to him, suddenly screamed in pain, her whole body contorting into a colorful mosaic before collapsing towards Ben.

Gwen!

This sudden turn of events startled both Aunt May and Peter.

Fortunately, the situation came and went quickly, and Gwen returned to normal in the blink of an eye.

Ben reacted quickly, catching her just before she collapsed from weakness and pulling her into his arms. Gwen a little weak, but she recovered quickly.

"Otherwise, it will react like this, experiencing a rejection reaction, and ultimately be eliminated by the universe as a foreign virus."

That's why the Particle Collider can only be reversed after the other Spider-Man appear.

The problem is that you might turn the tide, but some people haven't arrived yet; that would be terrible.

"Then how can we determine how many universes are affected?" Peter asked.

Well...

Ben knew that there were seven Spider-Man in the Parallel Universe, making a total of eight if he included himself. Subtracting the two from the home universe, there were six left.

However, he wasn't sure if something unexpected might happen.

"Here's what we'll do: I'll make a few devices to alleviate the rejection symptoms first. If other Spider-Man appear in the future, you can put them on them first, and then we'll figure out how to deal with them."

"Anyway, I think that once they arrive in a strange universe, the first thing they'll do is find Queens."

Ben said.

Coincidentally, Gwen needs this right now too.

"You can even make a device like this?" Gwen looked up at Ben as if he were a god.

"Besides giving birth, is there anything you can't do?"

Ben smiled slightly, thinking of the Big Chill in the watch.

"Sorry, I can give birth too."
