Ultron's Conspiracy
Ultron, of course, did not change his nature.
In those brief five minutes, it witnessed all the ugliness of humanity.
Savage, violent, insane... for their own benefit, they can ruthlessly attack others.
What peace...
All wars are initiated by humankind.
From the perspective of Ultron as artificial intelligence, throughout history, it has only witnessed the brutal and ugly side of humanity.
If all human conflicts are merely like those of animals, involving plunder for survival, then Ultron is entirely understandable.
But that's not actually the case.
Too many people commit evil simply to satisfy their own ugly desires.
Sometimes, people commit acts of cruelty simply to kill time or for amusement.
The more Ultron learned, the more he felt that this race had no future.
As long as humanity exists, peace will be impossible.
As for these people in front of it, they are the source of conflict and trouble, and they must be eliminated!
In its view, the existence of these life forms makes peace impossible. If peace is desired, all that is needed is to unify the thinking of all things and replace them with its own!
Only by forging the Ultron Era can the world be saved!
It was thinking.
The problem is that, by accessing the underlying code of the Project Insight, Ultron also obtained information about these Super Hero the instant he browsed the network.
It doesn't care about other people.
However, the alien organization, the Galactic Plumbers, is no ordinary organization.
A planetary defense system, Space Station equipped with powerful weapons, and Ben Parker, a guy who can transform into all sorts of aliens...
Ultron assessed the disparity in strength between the two sides and had already decided to play it safe.
It wants to eliminate humanity to achieve its own vision of peace, but it cannot act recklessly.
After suppressing his inner thoughts, Ultron became like a real artificial intelligence that obeyed Tony Stark, exposing all the crimes in New York City to the public.
"Should we deploy Iron Legion?"
It asked calmly.
"No need for now."
Tony's vanity was instantly satisfied, and he became even more confident when he turned to face the crowd.
Look!
In retrospect, Ultron was an absolute success.
Good boy, you've really made your dad proud!
He was thinking.
"With just one order from me, those more than a thousand crimes will be immediately stopped, and any other crimes that have not yet been committed will no longer be possible."
Tony said smugly, "What if it were the Avengers instead?"
How long will it take?
Everyone lowered their heads and remained silent.
Because this isn't a matter of time at all; no matter what, the Avengers wouldn't mobilize for such a trivial matter.
If this is the case in New York, what about the rest of the world?
Tony continued his offensive.
Norman glanced at Ben, who seemed unwilling to say anything more, then hesitated for a moment before replying, "Well then, I need to discuss this with the Security Council."
To be fair, if Ultron Global Defense System is actually useful, then it's pretty good.
However, issues such as citizens' privacy and relations between different countries require discussion before a decision can be made.
Norman could foresee that the Security Council would be scrambling to gain some control of Ultron.
At the very least, we must protect our own country's secrets.
Thus, the banquet ended on a sour note.
Everyone was worried and not very optimistic about Tony's idea.
No one wants to live under surveillance.
"If peace is to be achieved through surveillance, I think we might as well just put everyone in jail."
As they were leaving, Natasha made a comment to Ben in the elevator.
She felt that Ben was the one who could stop Tony Stark from going his own way, but in the end Ben said nothing.
Steve picked up where she left off. "That's exactly what I'm worried about. At that point, the world itself might become a giant prison."
He sighed.
In Steve's view, this was not the worst outcome.
"If it were just Tony controlling Ultron by himself, it would be fine, but the Security Council can't just let an artificial intelligence that could be a 'threat' go unchecked; they will inevitably intervene."
"No matter what it is, once power is involved, it all changes!"
They spoke one after another, expressing their anxieties about the future.
But no one hit the nail on the head. They were all worried that Ultron's appearance would make life oppressive for people in the future, or that some malicious people might use Ultron to rule the world.
But what they didn't realize was that the worst-case scenarios they imagined were nothing at all.
Because Ultron's goal is to destroy all humanity, and even all life forms.
That's right.
Even though Ultron didn't seem to be showing any signs of being out of control or inhuman tonight, Ben didn't think there was anything wrong with him.
In the Marvel Universe, there are many things that are beyond human control.
They are like pre-written scripts, nailing all destinies to the trajectory of time.
Ben knew he had the power to change the "script," but he did not interfere with the birth of Ultron.
Even if Tony Stark is incredibly intelligent, Ultron, who is destined to be a villain, will still be a villain.
"I just don't know what Ultron is up to these days..."
Ben thought to himself.
He was convinced that Ultron was in disguise, and the reason for such a large difference from the original work was also obvious.
--Tian Galactic Plumbers).
It was his own existence and that of the Galactic Plumbers that forced Ultron to hide himself.
After all, the Galactic Plumbers represents another civilization in the universe that is more powerful than Earth.
Ultron also worried that before it could develop, humanity would receive aid from the Galactic Plumbers and destroy it.
"It seems that Ultron will inevitably take action against the Galactic Plumbers Craftsmen before revealing his true nature."
Ben analyzed it.
He wasn't clear on Ultron's specific plans, but he was happy to lend a hand.
No matter what situation we face, as long as there are no casualties in the Galactic Plumbers, Ben is willing to develop according to Ultron's vision.
Of course, this is on the premise that he can ultimately contain Ultron and completely eliminate Ultron within the Earth Network.
"Looks like we still need to upgrade Eunice's gear."
He was thinking.
Eunice's underlying code comes from Jarvis, while Ultron clearly more advanced Jarvis.
You could even say that Ultron was as cunning and treacherous as a real person, knowing how to feign insincerity.
In the end, if Ultron truly intends to disappear into the cyberspace, then even Jarvis and Eunice combined would not be able to find any trace of Ultron.
There's so much to do.
Ben sighed.
On the way out of Avengers Tower, he was already planning his next move.
With such a talented scientist, Primus didn't need to take on the work himself.
"Let's leave the research on Particle Collider to Doctor Otto."
In the world of Blonde Peter, the Particle Collider is Otto's creation. Ben has obtained all the data and handed it over to Otto in this universe, which is enough for him to study.
At least Ben felt that there wouldn't be any major problems with converting it into a teleportation device.
"The research progress at the Regeneration Cradle also needs to be accelerated. Connors' knowledge of Cross-Species Genetic Inheritance is worth referencing. In that case, it would be good to have Peter join in as well."
Since the plan is to give Eunice a physical form, Ben also intends to replicate Eunice's original ability to acquire animal Superpowers.
Connors's Cross-Species Genetic Inheritance can shine brightly in this field.
Peter, as one of the successful cases, can also serve as a reference for the experiment.
Finally, it's time to upgrade Eunice.
Ben decided to do this himself; otherwise, if something went wrong and Eunice ended up as another Ultron, it would be too ridiculous.
After returning to Primus, Ben summoned Connors, Helen Cho, and Otto.
And he told them about Ultron.
Clearly, no one approved of Tony's plan; their brows furrowed after hearing it.
Aside from the dissatisfaction of potentially being monitored, everyone was intelligent and immediately grasped the crux of the problem.
Is Ultron's analysis system reliable?
How can we distinguish whether the threat it points out is a real threat?
What if it perceives certain Super Hero as a threat?
Connors, who had once gone berserk as Dinosaur Man, was especially worried about this.
"That's precisely why we need to prepare in advance," Ben said.
"Connors, Doctor Cho, you two stay on Earth to refine the Regeneration Cradle technology. Make sure to follow my vision." He handed over a business plan.
Helen Cho took the proposal, glanced at it, and thought the plan was feasible.
She thought to herself.
Whether it's Spider-Man or Dinosaur Man, the genes of a single species can already grant humans such immense power. If Ben's idea were to actually succeed, who knows what kind of powerful monster would be created!
Connors thought about it a little more.
He asked with concern, "Should we temporarily shut down the company's general network?"
"If Ultron's intelligence is really as powerful as you say, perhaps it can bypass Eunice's Firewall and spy on our research."
Ben smiled slightly.
"No need, I just want it to know."
Connors found it strange, but didn't say anything.
Since Ben's decision wasn't made out of negligence, he must have his own plans, and there's no need for him to interfere.
Then, Ben looked at Otto.
"Doctor Otto, I'd appreciate it if you could come and live with me on the Space Station for the time being. I have another research project to give you."
Ultron must never learn about the research data from the Particle Collider.
Otherwise, if this guy secretly built one and then had no choice but to sneak into the Multiverse, who but Alien X could find it?
"No problem."
Otto smiled and nodded, "I'm just going to check on how Banner is doing."
Ben nodded, and after explaining everything else, he took Otto with him to the Space Station.
The Space Station has its own regional network.
In the cyber world, it's like a separate, smaller dimension, making it unlikely that Ultron would want to infiltrate it.
Even so, Ben did not leave any important data on the Space Station's computers.
He sealed off the important information using paper documents.
He also designated a secret area for Otto to study the Particle Collider.
Otto was stunned when he saw the information.
"Use a particle collider to conduct quantum experiments to open the channel to the multiverse?" He couldn't help but take off his sunglasses, his face full of absurd emotions.
"Whose genius came up with this idea?"
Otto often felt that he lacked the talent to do so.
There are so many smart people in this world, and he is definitely not among the top ones.
This caused him pain, but it also motivated him to keep trying.
"It's yourself, Doctor Otto."
Ben patted him on the shoulder and recounted his recent journey through the Multiverse, which Otto found incredibly incredible.
"I never imagined it would be another version of myself from another universe."
He seemed to have been inspired, and his whole being was filled with high spirits and enthusiasm.
If Otto from another universe can succeed, then I can too!
No!
He wants to do even better!
"The Space Station's materials are extremely robust; Vibranium is strong enough to absorb energy fluctuations from particle collisions. Please proceed with your research with confidence."
Ben offered him a few words of encouragement, and then Otto kicked him out.
If you, Ben Parker, were planning to work together on this, that would be fine. But since you're not going to work together, then stop wasting time with all this nonsense.
Time is precious!
Every second should be spent on research!
Ben didn't care.
Otto doesn't need any assistants. On the one hand, he has a somewhat eccentric temperament and looks down on mediocre people; on the other hand, his robotic arm is the best assistant.
"The most crucial part is yet to come."
Upgrade Eunice.
Ben had also planned for this.
He planned to go find the guy with seven doctoral degrees.
Originally, Ultron was researched by Tony and Banner together. Now Blu Banner works for Ben, and the Mind Stone is in their hands, except that Tony has been replaced by Ben.
Before Ben even reached Banner's lab, he saw Wanda walking towards him from a short distance away, looking distracted.
Wanda.
He shouted.
Wanda seemed momentarily disoriented and startled by his shout.
He hurriedly looked up and realized it was Ben calling him, so he quickly responded.
"Ben Security Officer."
"Why aren't you resting in the medical room? Why did you come out?" Ben asked with concern.
Previously, Wanda fell into a temporary coma due to the experiment with the Mind Stone, but it hasn't been that long since then.
"I feel much better, so I'm going to see Doctor Banner to check on how the experiment went."
Wanda replied.
"Although it can't compare to the energy that erupted back then, the test results show that my magical power has increased significantly..."
This is a good thing, but her expression was clearly somewhat gloomy, as if she was worried about something.
Wanda opened her mouth, unsure whether she should tell Ben about the phantom she had vaguely seen in her dazed state.
