Fury: Master Ben, When Did You Become Tianjin Number One?
The Galactic Federation's conference room is a huge circular space.
The center is slightly concave like a cone, with the table and chairs where the Three Great Empires sit together. Surrounding them are other members of the Galactic Federation, some of whom are representatives of planetary civilizations, and others are leaders of large organizations.
Fury and Captain Marvel were among them. Although Fury's wife was Skrull, he no longer worked for the Skrull Empire. As for Captain Marvel, Carol was even less of a concern; she had Contradiction with the Kree Empire decades ago. While it might not be irreconcilable, she certainly didn't want to serve the Kree Empire anymore.
Fury instinctively wanted to lead Ben to his seat, but by then Ben and Bill had already strode towards the center of the hall. It was then that he remembered that Ben was a member of the Galactic Plumbers and didn't need to sit on the edge like him.
To be honest, Nick Fury was only able to participate in the meeting thanks to his wife and Carol; otherwise, in a place like the Galactic Federation, he wouldn't even be qualified to be a spectator.
This guy, whose heart was even darker than his face, shook his head, seemingly unconcerned. His gaze, however, remained fixed on Ben's retreating figure, and he said with slight worry:
"The people of the Three Great Empires have been waiting for a long time, but King of Sakaar has not yet shown up. If they are stood up, they will probably not let it go."
People of all races care about their reputation.
This is especially true for renowned cosmic civilizations like the Three Great Empires.
If both are simultaneously looked down upon and fooled by the Galactic Plumbers, no one can accept it, and it might lead to a huge conflict.
Thinking of this, Fury couldn't help but feel a little worried for the Galactic Plumbers.
Although the Galactic Plumbers defeated Thanos, the Three Great Empires were not to be trifled with. Their ability to exist in the universe for hundreds of thousands of years was enough to prove the advanced and powerful nature of their civilizations.
If they were to attack the Galactic Plumbers at the same time, the Galactic Plumbers would probably find it difficult to withstand the attack.
After hearing his words, Carol nodded in agreement.
She watched Ben's departing figure, but her mind was elsewhere.
"Fury, does Parker hold a high position within the Galactic Plumbers?" Carol asked curiously, noticing Ben walking alongside Bill, even leading Bill by half a body length.
"He seems to be Security Officer from the Earth branch."
Nick Fury, however, wasn't surprised.
Ben's ability to participate in the Galactic Conference is enough to prove that he holds a very high position in the Galactic Plumbers.
Now, most people outside the organization know that the Galactic Plumbers Guild is divided into two levels: Security Officer and ordinary Plumbers. The Plumbers are further subdivided, but the Security Officer hold a very high position in the Galactic Plumbers.
Bill, Caiera, and others who have previously appeared in the Galactic Federation all held the position of Security Officer.
"The Security Officer...?"
Carol shook his head; two Security Officer alone couldn't control the situation.
Not to mention that Ben had never shown his face here before.
Carol and Fury both felt that if Sakaar King didn't intervene, only Bill could probably take charge.
This Korbinites (originally Korbinite, now Korbinites from Sakaar) has a ferocious appearance, a tall stature, and considerable strength. He is the guardian of Giant Battleship on Sakaar and can still hold some sway here.
The truth of the universe is this simple: whoever has the biggest fist has the right to speak.
Unfortunately, Bill's fist wasn't big enough!
He still bowed before the leaders of the Three Great Empires.
As Bill and Ben approached, while the other ordinary Plumbers waited further away, Gladiator Karkra's brow furrowed even more.
Skrull Queen and King Dorrek VIII of the Kree also looked displeased.
While they did defeat Thanos, didn't they get a little too cocky?
Could it be that they are planning to wage war against the Three Great Empires simultaneously?
More than one person thought this way.
Kallark, however, was the first to strike. He stood up abruptly, his tall frame turning towards Bill with fury in his eyes.
"Beta Ray Bill, why are you attending this council meeting?"
His gaze was as heavy as a mountain; just looking at him seemed to carry immense pressure, making one involuntarily kneel down.
Kallark only saw Bill, ignoring Ben, who was relatively small in stature next to Bill.
He's probably just a follower; he doesn't seem intimidating at all, so why bother with him?
"Sovereign of the Shi'ar Empire, what is the meaning of this?"
Bill sensed the aura emanating from Kallark and instantly stopped in his tracks. An equally powerful aura emanated from his body, causing his red cloak to flutter and rustle even without wind.
Even if he were the leader of one of the Three Great Empires, Bill would never allow the other party to be presumptuous in front of King of Sakaar!
In an instant, the entire Galactic Federation was on edge, as if war was about to break out.
The other representatives from other planets trembled, sweating profusely, and kept their heads down, fearing they would be implicated and bring destruction upon their own planets.
Dorrek VIII was naturally not included in this list. His personal martial prowess was only average, but the Kree Empire's technology was extremely advanced, and he feared no one. Not to mention, he now had an invisible ally.
He propped his feet up on the conference table, not even glancing at Bill, as if such a minor figure was insignificant, and spoke flippantly, "So you mean you're not qualified to sit down and negotiate with us, Korbin's stray dog."
Not to mention that they originally came for King of Sakaar, even the Security Officer do not have the same status within the Galactic Plumbers.
Dorrek VIII already knew that among the Security Officer who had appeared within the Galactic Plumbers's Guild, the one with the most influence was actually Caiera.
It wasn't that Caiera liked Ben more, but rather that she was the most reliable of them all, a talent capable of managing an organization; the others were somewhat unreliable.
For example, Bill's knowledge level is only 2, equivalent to an ordinary person, and he can't be considered farsighted. Brunnhilde is a drunkard. Looma is smart, but she's too lazy to bother with such trivial matters. Loki is also someone who likes to be lazy and enjoy life.
After comparing them, only Caiera was both studious and honest.
Dorrek VIII's insult of Bill as a stray dog was not entirely unfounded.
The Korbin People ' homeland had been destroyed, and before Sakaar, they truly wandered the universe like stray dogs. Even now, in his eyes, they were nothing more than adopted by Sakaar and made into watchdogs!
Bill himself didn't seem to care about the other party's disdain, but Ben frowned, looking a little angry.
The person who insulted me to my face?
That's quite bold!
You want to redeem Ronan, right?
Dream!
"So you're just Kree locusts, your mouths certainly stink." He sneered coldly, instantly enraging Dorrek VIII and Kallark.
The Kree king could no longer sit still. He stood up abruptly, staring at Ben with eyes that seemed to want to devour him alive!
In an instant, the entire hall fell silent.
Everyone looked at Ben in disbelief, seemingly not expecting him to say such a thing.
I knew it!
Nick Fury, standing in the distance, wiped his face helplessly, almost tearing his skin off.
Carol's eyelids twitched, and she asked, "Has he always been this brave?"
It's important to understand that "locusts" in the universe is actually a general term for blue-skinned people, much like calling someone a "nigger" in America. Therefore, not only was Dorrek VIII furious, but Kallark, who was also blue-skinned, was also very annoyed.
Although the Ben are clearly Kree locusts, they're all black, so why does it matter if they're black or white?
"He's always been like this..."
Fury sighed, recalling the racial discrimination he had suffered at the hands of Ben in Primus, and sighed silently.
Of course, he knew very well that Ben wasn't really discriminating; the kid was just being objective and not personal, and was only retaliating because Dorrek VIII had provoked him first.
"If a fight really breaks out, Carol..."
Carol nodded, clenching her fists and gathering her energy, seemingly ready to rescue Ben from the chaos at any moment.
"Do you want to die, you beast!" King Dorrek VIII trembled with rage. He never dreamed that he would be so humiliated!
As Kree, he was extremely proud of his skin and bloodline. In comparison, people like the Ben would be considered inferior trash in the Kree Empire!
Kallark was also furious, but instead of targeting Ben, he yelled at Bill, "Keep an eye on your subordinate, Beta Ray Bill! If he dares to speak disrespectfully again, don't blame me for being ruthless!"
Clearly, Kallark respected Bill's strength and, considering Ben's insults directed at the Kree, refrained from direct action and only issued a warning.
However, he made one mistake...
"My men?" Bill's expression was somewhat unnatural.
When did the Security Officer become my subordinate?
If this got back to Looma's ears, wouldn't that woman skin her own horse and use it as a rug outside Ben's room?
He shivered and quickly said, "This is the head of Security Officer of the Galactic Plumbers, and also the Sakaar King you have been waiting for!"
Kallark:???
Before anyone else could react, Bill glared at Dorrek VIII and roared, "Your Highness Dorrek VIII, it's fine if you insult me, but if you dare to disrespect King of Sakaar, don't blame me for being impolite!"
"What? He's Sakaar King?" Skrull Queen, who had been sitting and watching the show, was filled with surprise.
Not just him, everyone looked puzzled, suspecting that Bill was talking nonsense.
"Such a weak fellow, you say he is the King of Sakaar?" Kallark asked skeptically. He even felt that he could break Ben's body as easily as breaking a twig with just a little effort.
There's a limit to nonsense!
The leaders of the Three Great Empires all thought that the Galactic Plumbers were playing a trick on them and had sent out an insignificant nobody.
But Ben didn't care and sat down in the empty chair with a cold laugh.
Outside the arena, people from other planets were also whispering and discussing the veracity of the matter.
"Fury, what's going on? Didn't you say he was the Security Officer for the Earth branch?" Carol asked curiously.
"You're asking me? Who should I ask?" Fury was completely dumbfounded.
No, buddy?
Aren't you Peter Parker's older brother, a student at Midtown High School?
When did we become the number one Sakaar?
Egghead Fury racked his brains but still couldn't understand how Ben Parker had become the founder of the Galactic Plumbers and the king of Sakaar.
But to be honest, he didn't think the Galactic Plumbers would lie.
This is probably true.
But Dorrek VIII and Kallark thought differently.
Everyone knows that Sakaar King defeated Thanos and was incredibly powerful; even Kallark wasn't confident he could defeat Thanos.
How could such a powerful warrior be a frail fellow like Ben Parker?
A flash of resentment crossed Dorrek VIII's eyes as he gave Kallark and Skrull Queen a cold smile, sowing discord. "It seems the Galactic Plumbers truly doesn't take our Three Great Empires seriously, sending someone like this to toy with us..."
"You don't believe me?" Ben glanced at him, leaned back more easily, and said, "In that case, let Ronan die in prison. Keeping him alive is just a waste of our food."
"You!" Dorrek VIII's eyes narrowed, and he was so angry that he was speechless.
To be honest, he was the one who shouldn't have offended Sakaar, because among the Three Great Empires, only he needed the Galactic Plumbers and wanted Galactic Plumbers to release Ronan.
However, Ronan's life alone is clearly less important than the prestige of the Kree Empire.
"We all know that Sakaar King is a warrior capable of defeating Thanos. Are you trying to say that you killed Thanos?" Dorrek VIII retorted. "Someone like you would have a problem defeating even a Chitauri Soldier, wouldn't you?"
After Docker finished speaking, many people in the hall began to chuckle quietly.
After all, Ben didn't seem to have much fighting ability, nor did he possess the enormous energy within his body that could be detected, unlike Captain Marvel. In the eyes of these aliens, he really could be considered very weak.
Who would believe he killed Thanos?!
The Three Great Empires felt they had been slighted.
"Emissaries from Sakaar, you have indeed gone too far." After the laughter subsided, Skrull Queen finally spoke. "If you hadn't said Sakaar King would come in the first place, it would have been fine. But now you've released this news and are fooling us. Do you think the Three Great Empires are child's play?"
Her tone was relatively gentle, but she completely ignored Ben, who was sitting in the chair, and instead looked at Bill.
Seeing the Skrull also enter the arena, Dorrek VIII secretly curled the corners of his mouth, but quickly smoothed it out.
Bill was about to say something, but Ben raised his hand to indicate that he didn't need to say anything more, so he lowered his head and took half a step back. This submissive appearance really made people start to doubt whether Ben was really the King of Sakaar.
Ben slowly stood up. His height was not bad among Earthlings, but he was indeed a head shorter than the group of strangely shaped aliens, making him look rather inferior.
But he had a very imposing manner.
"You don't believe I am Sakaar King simply because you think I'm not strong enough. In that case, why don't you try it yourselves?"
Ben's gaze first fell on Dorrek VIII Dorrek VIII, who had wanted to say something, but in an instant seemed to feel the fear of death and dared not move.
Then came the Skrull Queen...
Ben was very satisfied with their performance, because he had come today to establish his authority!
Finally, he looked at Kallark, the most powerful warrior among the Three Great Empires.
"So, are you still too scared?"
