Targeting the Kryptonian Gene and the Mother Box
"This... isn't something like this?"
Inside the Space Station, three scientists stared blankly at the computer screen, cold sweat dripping down their foreheads.
"Didn't you say the experimental data was fine?" Otto's voice trembled slightly.
"Theoretically, it should be fine, and I don't think there should be any unexpected issues in practice." Tony panicked and frantically entered data into the computer to verify his ideas.
To be honest, although it was all experimental data before, he really felt that nothing would go wrong, otherwise he wouldn't have agreed to let Ben experience Multiverse travel directly.
But now it seems there's a problem...
"We've lost him!" Banner was on the verge of a breakdown. He was having an anxiety attack and was pacing back and forth in the lab, as if he wanted to put his fingers in his mouth and bite them to pieces.
"Calm down, Banner!" Tony reassured him as he noticed Banner's skin was starting to turn blue.
"We lost him, Tony, we messed up again!" Banner didn't feel any better; he felt a little short of breath.
"Don't worry, Banner, can your bracelet transmit messages?" Otto quickly reassured him.
Based on the bracelet's functions, it's possible to connect even in another universe. If a connection can be established, then there shouldn't be any problems.
"No." Banner shook his head.
"Actually, we don't need to worry about him," Tony said reassuringly, typing data on his computer. "Although we can't contact Ben, he knows our coordinates in the universe and can easily build a brand new Particle Collider to return."
Upon hearing this, Banner calmed down considerably.
"You're right, the collider data was brought back from the Multiverse itself. But we'd better figure out where the problem lies."
"I'm already investigating." Tony pressed Enter, and the footage of the previous space-crossing sequence immediately came up, along with various energy analyses.
Otto leaned closer, carefully examining the data. "The collider is functioning normally, and the Power Stone's energy fluctuations are also fine... There shouldn't be any problems."
"No... it's his watch." Banner noticed the problem, pointing to Ben's watch in the image. "It's glowing, it looks like it's clashing with the Power Stone's energy, and perhaps that's what caused the even stronger energy pulse, taking Ben to the unknown phase universe."
"That watch that can turn him into Alien Hero?" Tony looked over with a frown.
"Where did this thing come from?"
They both shook their heads at the same time.
"Perhaps his cousin Peter knows."
--
"How could it be DC?"
Ben stood atop the dark building, his brow slightly furrowed. The damp air made him feel a little uncomfortable, and there seemed to be an unsettling atmosphere in the air.
He was mentally prepared that Doctor Otto's Particle Collider might open up all sorts of strange universes, even Zombie Universe or Cancerverse were entirely within his expectations.
But he never expected that a random time travel would send him to the DC Universe.
That's a huge leap.
Furthermore, compared to Marvel, Ben knows less about DC, which is unfortunate, as he's not exactly a comic book fan and is more interested in the movies. But on the other hand, after all these years, DC is rebooting Superman...
The constant rebooting has dampened Ben's enthusiasm for watching movies, and he's less likely to delve into the DC universe.
"Speaking of which, the first Super Hero movie I ever watched was Superman." He sighed regretfully, recalling the old movies he watched on TV as a child, the scene where Superman in his red underwear used his body as a train track—even after so many years, Ben could still clearly remember it.
Despite the disappointment, Ben was actually quite happy to be able to come to the DC universe.
After all, Superman's fighting power is undeniable. Even Ben, who has never read the comics, knows that some versions of Superman are terrifyingly powerful.
Incorporating Superman's genes represents an Infinity number of possibilities.
"I wonder which world this is."
It has been rebooted countless times; the number of cinematic universes alone is innumerable, and I've heard that it's going to be rebooted again soon.
Regardless of the world, it makes no difference to Ben, because the Kryptonian genes are all the same in his hands and will be optimized to their best state.
Of course, this all depends on having Superman.
If it's some kind of Batman independent universe, then his plan has backfired.
"There don't seem to be many reports about Super Hero..." He set up a program that kept crawling news articles on the internet. There were many articles about supernatural phenomena, but the authenticity of most of them was questionable, and given the sheer volume of them, he couldn't filter them all at once.
However, it is certain that there is currently no information related to Superman.
"This is Gotham, and there have indeed been urban legends about Batman in recent years."
News about Batman is the easiest to find; he lingers like a ghost in the Gotham night sky, and the Bat-Lights occasionally reflected in the night sky are proof of his existence.
Unfortunately, Ben wasn't interested in Batman.
This guy is even more troublesome than Tony Stark, so much so that if he only shows the slightest bit of his special power to the other guy, the other guy is likely already having a whole alphabet of plans running through his mind.
All I can say is that Batman is the ultimate god of war in American Comics. He might not be able to play a crucial role in dealing with enemies, but when it comes to dealing with his own people... even Superman would die.
Winning every challenge is a conceptual skill.
"There's no need to contact Batman. If there aren't any other Super Hero, just leave."
Ben made his decision.
The DC Universe isn't of much value to him, and he hasn't even figured out the Marvel Universe yet, so there's no need for him to get involved in the DC mess.
Of course, he wouldn't let go of anything worth studying or any treasures that would be useful to the Galactic Plumbers.
Just then, several specially marked messages flashed on my phone.
"A gigantic object beneath the Antarctica ice sheet?"
"Could it be a world of Man of Steel?"
A flawless version, checked one by one!
This isn't online news; it's information that's been officially blocked. Its accuracy is beyond question. As for the enormous object beneath the Antarctica ice sheet, Ben can only think of the Kryptonian Spaceship from Man of Steel that arrived on Earth 20,000 years ago.
According to the original plot, Clark would insert a key into the spaceship to start it up. Although he learned about his past, the signal emitted after the spaceship started up also brought General Zod, who had escaped from prison, to Earth.
"If it really is Man of Steel, that would be great news." Ben chuckled, stroking his chin.
He was determined to obtain the Kryptonian genes, but there were other valuable things he could acquire as well.
We must get our hands on the Kryptonian combat suit.
Ben Superman's blue suit, which would be considered formal attire on Krypton, equivalent to a suit. What he wanted was the black armor suit worn by Zod and his group.
That suit of armor possesses extremely powerful combat capabilities.
The fact that Faora and Zod, the female Kryptonian in the movie, were able to fight Superman using their battle suits without absorbing solar energy is enough to prove that the technology of those suits is extremely powerful.
Ben himself doesn't really need this combat suit to enhance his fighting ability, but it would be a different story if it were given to the Plumbers.
Wearing the combat suit would probably give me the power to defeat Caiera.
"However, mass-producing that thing probably won't be that easy."
"Besides the Kryptonian Tech Battle Suit and the genes, there's another heavyweight item... the Mother Box."
Although Man of Steel is a Superman solo film, it shares the same universe with several other movies, such as Aquaman, Wonder Woman, and the Justice League, which brings together six Super Hero.
Although he had seen the movie, Ben still didn't quite understand what Mother Box actually was.
All he knew was that Darkseid and Steppenwolf invaded Earth to obtain the Mother Box, but they were easily defeated by Superman, who single-handedly took on all four of them.
Furthermore, the Mother Box also possesses the power to resurrect Superman.
No matter how you look at it, there's no doubt that the Mother Box contains extremely powerful energy. Even if we don't know much about its specifics, it doesn't stop Ben from considering it Infinity Stones from the DC Universe.
Ben glanced down at the Banner had given him. The bracelet was already recording information about the universe, but it hadn't successfully recorded the universe's coordinates.
"It seems the bracelet's recording function isn't working." Ben frowned slightly.
Therefore, arriving in this universe might have been purely accidental. After all, the fact that the Particle Collider broke through the barrier of the Marvel Universe and sent him to DC is already quite illogical, and trying again might not have been possible at all.
"That means we can't just go back whenever we want."
"Genes, armor, Mother Box... once you get these three things, that should be enough."
There are three Mother Box, one in the human world, one on the Amazons Paradise Island, and Atlantis. In the movie, Steppenwolf took the latter two, Ben plans to take one or two of them this time as well.
"Since the Mother Box of Paradise Island and Atlantis are going to be stolen anyway, I might as well just take them," Ben thought.
As for the Mother Box in human hands, forget about it. Without it, Superman probably wouldn't be able to be resurrected, and this universe would probably be directly conquered by Steppenwolf.
"Although both universes are destined to restart, I don't want an entire universe to be destroyed because of me."
Having made his plans, Ben prepared to head directly to Antarctica.
If the timing is right, he could just happen to meet Clark in Antarctica.
The Kryptonian spaceship actually has considerable research value, but he has forgotten where it went in the movie.
