Tang San is a student of Shrek Academy and the son of the Titled Douluo Tang Hao and the hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor Ah Yin. Possessing twin martial souls—the Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer—he is guided by his teacher Yu Xiaogang and trained in the powerful techniques of the Tang Sect. Throughout his journey, Tang San participates in the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament, forms deep bonds with the Shrek Seven Devils, and eventually enters the perilous City of Slaughter alongside his father, where he battles for over a year to earn the Divine Slaughter's Domain alongside Hu Liena.

However, his path is fraught with conflict and loss. His initial romance and deep bond with Xiao Wu are upended when she is revealed to be a soft-bone rabbit spirit beast and subsequently captured by Dugu Bo, leading to intense grief and a fierce desire for revenge.
