Background / History

Stelle’s present Stellaron Essence incarnation began when Kafka and Silver Wolf implanted a Stellaron into her chest in Herta Space Station’s sealed section. She awakened afterward with no memories beyond her name, then armed herself with a Baseball Bat Curio while Theresa, March 7th, and Dan Heng escorted her through the Antimatter Legion invasion. She immediately felt an affinity with Theresa, believing they shared similarly hidden secrets. 9

Herta identifies Stelle as a troublesome Stellaron collectible that has become a person, while Stelle herself can provide no further account of her identity. Her Destruction energy briefly surges out of control after the Doomsday Beast’s defeat, forcing Welt to knock her unconscious before she can explode. 10 12

After helping resolve the crisis at Herta Space Station, Stelle chooses to leave with the Astral Express’s Stellaron Hunters. 17 On Jarilo-VI, she joins the group’s effort to contain the ice Stellaron and learns that it has corrupted Cocolia. 26 50

During the battle at Everwinter Peak, Stelle charges the Stellaron after Himeko’s orbital strike, is pierced by an ice spike, and falls from the mountain. Her near-death experience carries her into the Path’s interstice, where she witnesses Belobog’s history, makes a vow to protect others, and awakens the Power of Preservation. 60 74

Despite her amnesia, Stelle has a history predating this awakening. Theresa recognizes that Stelle had previously belonged to Kafka’s Stellaron Hunters and that her familiarity with Liu Ying stems from meeting an old colleague after reincarnation. This earlier association is distinct from her current membership in the Astral Express’s Trailblazing group. 396

Her experiences gradually resolve her initial uncertainty about herself. After awakening Preservation, she understands that her companions regard her as a person rather than merely a dangerous Stellaron, and she wants to prove herself worthy of their recognition. Experiencing the Watchmaker’s life in Penacony further matures her outlook without eliminating her mischievous habits. 75 413

By the Holy Grail incident, Stelle reflects that two years have passed since her awakening. Remembering Kafka’s advice to make choices without regret, she wishes that everyone aboard the Astral Express will remain together forever. Aha answers by returning Aqevili’s Seed of Trailblaze to her, leaving her responsible for safeguarding that wish. Her subsequent awakening as Trailblaze Star rekindles the dormant Trailblaze Power. 726 731 732

Personality

Stelle is curious, impulsive, and unusually open to strange experiences. She willingly tests Theresa’s transformation mask, spends three hours posing as a Mechanical Bird to deliver takeout, and becomes a local viral sensation as a food-eating “Mechanical Bird Mukbanger.” 107 108

She habitually presents herself through grandiose hero titles—particularly “Galactic Bat Hero”—yet her bravado is paired with genuine courage. She protects Kafka from the prospect of an inhumane interrogation, shields Liu Ying when she believes the latter is in danger, and declares that she never backs down during her Dreamweavers Academy audition. 111 395 465

Despite her good intentions, Stelle can be gullible. The Onparos Senate successfully lures her into its headquarters by using a lost little girl as bait; however, she discreetly activates Theresa’s alarm ring after realizing she has been captured. 587

Her childlike innocence is significant enough that she can see Clock Boy when Welt and Liu Ying cannot. Clock Boy explicitly attributes this to Stelle’s pure heart. 406

Her early confusion is attributed to inexperience rather than stupidity: shortly after Jarilo-VI’s crisis begins, the narration describes her as a Stellaron Essence born only days earlier. As she gains experience, her desire to belong becomes a firm commitment to her companions. 57 75

Stelle particularly enjoys the beginning of an adventure and the unknown possibilities ahead. She regards the middle as the experience itself and the ending as a time for commemoration and remembrance. Her wish to keep the Astral Express’s companions together ultimately outweighs a more self-serving Holy Grail wish. 547 726

Her eccentric curiosity extends to rummaging through trash cans and briefly trying to eat the dirt consumed by Earth Beasts. Although she insists she has formed a deep bond with trash cans, she immediately regrets the dirt experiment and promises not to repeat it. 510 525 576

She can also exercise restraint despite her boastfulness. During the fighting in Natlan, she avoids using her full Trailblaze Emanator power because summoning the gigantic Astral Express could devastate Teyvat. She later emphasizes that the Hunters are helpers and Trailblazers, not conquerors. 907 985

Abilities & Skills

Stellaron Constitution

Stelle contains a Stellaron within her body, giving her immense but initially unstable Destruction energy.

  • Her Destruction power can erupt involuntarily, causing her hair to stand on end and her eyes to turn pale gold. 12
  • She survives being pierced through the chest by the Jarilo-VI Stellaron and regenerates after awakening Preservation. 60 74
  • During special training, repeated death-and-revival cycles stabilize her internal Stellaron rather than allowing it to explode. 590
  • Her death-training revival is supplied by Theresa; the exercise does not establish that Stelle can independently resurrect herself. 590
  • She states that her Stellaron Essence constitution does not experience menstruation. Whether she possesses human genes remains unresolved. 380 766

Path of Preservation

Stelle’s Preservation awakening is rooted in her decision to protect others.

  • Recognized by Alisa’s City Builder spear after resolving to protect everything. 60
  • Uses the City Builder’s Lance, later referred to as her Flame Lance, against enemies. 74 133
  • Her Flame Lance can clear groups of mechanical monsters in a single sweeping attack. 133
  • Can switch from bat-based offense to Preservation and shield her companions. 163
  • During the Chasm operation, her lance carries Theresa’s Order power as white flames, purifying both Abyss creatures and contaminated ground. 824
  • The transformed Astral Express incorporates her Preservation lance into its Shield of Shelter. 732

Harmony Power

Stelle later demonstrates the ability to support allies through Harmony.

  • Activates a Harmony ultimate during the defense against Abyss Monsters beneath Penacony’s theater. 417
  • The ultimate enhances the combat ability of the group’s other members. 417
  • Uses a top hat to release dark-gold stars, accompanying the ultimate with a declaration that the joint performance has begun. 417
  • Continues using top-hat attacks after becoming White Platinum Star, bombarding Nicadori with black-and-gold starlight during stopped time. 616

Orionis’s Prayer

Stelle can reproduce Tibo’s prayer after observing it.

  • Restores a ruined temple to its intact state by manipulating Onparos’s unstable spacetime. 554
  • Relieves Tibo by maintaining the prayer in her place. 554
  • The technique is aided by Onparos’s unusually fluid spacetime conditions. 554
  • Tribbie explains that the prayer is a gift of the Destiny Three Titans, allowing priests to alter reality by briefly recreating moments from the past. Examples include reversing a rolling boulder or restoring a broken road. 556
  • Stelle finds the technique easy enough that she believes she can activate it without recitation. Her ability to perform difficult reversals leads Tribbie to recognize her potential as a priestess of Orionis. 556
  • Following the Bug Arrow evolution, the technique develops into an unchanted time stop lasting ten seconds. 616

White Platinum Star

Stelle’s super-evolved form manifests after she uses the Bug Arrow and Mimi merges with her.

  • Clock Boy becomes physically materialized and no longer requires Eidos to appear. 616
  • Stelle identifies Clock Boy and Mimi as her stand-ins. 618
  • She names her stand-in attribute as “The World.” 616 618
  • Activates time stop for ten seconds, allowing coordinated attacks on Nicadori while he is immobilized. 616
  • Mimi assumes a human girl’s appearance and can produce numerous floating pink energy fists rather than relying on direct punches. 616
  • Clock Boy transforms into Clock Grandpa Combat Form — Imaginary God Bone: Nihilism, a black-and-gold humanoid wielding a massive clock greatsword. 616
  • Stelle can continue wielding the Flame Lance alongside her transformed companions. 616
  • Uses time stop again during the battle against the corrupted Sky Titan Aegle, as Mimi transforms into Cyrene. 648
  • Against Gilgamesh, she and Cyrene unleash a coordinated barrage during stopped time. Stelle adds hundreds of baseball-bat blows per second and removes the charging Sword of Rupture from his hand before time resumes. 723

Destruction and Remembrance

  • Receives the Aeon of Destruction’s gaze before her first Simulated Universe test and chooses Destruction blessings because of that connection. 14
  • Can explicitly switch between the Paths of Remembrance and Destruction. During her encounter with Xiao, the change produces golden-blue patterns on her bat and fills its strikes with destructive power. 776

Emanator of Trailblaze

Stelle awakens as Trailblaze Star after receiving the Seed of Trailblaze, restoring activity to the Path left dormant after Aqevili’s fall. She states that traveling far enough along this road could eventually allow her to become a new Aeon of Trailblaze; this remains a possibility rather than an achieved ascension. 726 731 732

  • Can fly under her own power as an Emanator of Trailblaze. 824
  • Summons and transforms the Astral Express, changing its black-and-gold exterior to white and gold and adding a powerful ram. 732
  • Can bring the Hunters aboard and reassemble the train into a giant combat robot with linked cockpits. 732
  • Connects the machine’s nervous system and power supply to Trailblaze Power, while allowing companions such as Cyrene and Welt to participate in piloting. 732
  • Deliberately withholds her full power on Teyvat because manifesting the gigantic Express there would endanger the planet. 907

The transformed Express’s documented combat systems include the following. 732

System Function
Hume Shield Combines Order and Corruption to improve defense, adaptability, and resistance to physical and energy attacks.
Trailblaze Light Wings Pierce enemy defenses with concentrated Trailblaze light or spread out to unleash a dense barrage.
Shield of Shelter Draws on the Preservation-enhanced Flame Lance to resist attacks, absorb energy for gradual repair, and deflect attacks to reflect damage.
Space Ripper A light sword combining Trailblaze, Order, and Corruption to tear space and deliver defense-ignoring dimensional slashes.
Elation Head Aha’s attached head can be ejected to inflict tremendous Elation damage.

Other Techniques and Practical Skills
