Ch. 1Transmigration, Then the System

After transmigrating into a world where Pokémon existed, Su Hao arrived at Yangcheng High School with his childhood friends to receive their Starter Pokémon. The chapter ended as their teacher began explaining the selection process.

  • Su Hao used his system’s Pokédex to scan a nearby Gardevoir and reviewed the system’s functions and his task to claim a Starter Pokémon.
  • Su Hao met Li Hua and Jiang Chengcheng at the school gate, where Jiang Chengcheng scolded him for arriving late.
  • Li Hua said he wanted a Flying-type Pokémon, while Jiang Chengcheng wanted a Fighting-type; Su Hao said he would choose based on which Pokémon caught his eye.
  • Su Hao and his friends joined their class line at the school field, and their teacher began reviewing the Starter Pokémon distribution process.

Ch. 2Starter Pokémon

Su Hao searched the Starter Pokémon selection rooms and chose a rare Carbink with the potential to become Diancie. He returned to his classmates, who were surprised that he had not picked a Dragon- or Fire-type Pokémon.

  • Ms. Liang explained the Starter Pokémon selection rules and called Su Hao to enter in the first group.
  • Su Hao inspected the Dragon-type room and found no appealing choices, then searched other rooms for strong Pokémon.
  • Su Hao identified Charmander as a backup and picked out Machop and Carbink for Li Hua and Jiang Chengcheng.
  • In the Rock-type room, Su Hao discovered a special Carbink that might become Diancie and chose it as his Starter Pokémon.
  • Su Hao registered Carbink with the Pokémon League and returned to Li Hua and Jiang Chengcheng, who were surprised by his choice.

Ch. 3Carbink

Su Hao released Carbink, welcomed it as family, and used Wave Power to communicate with it. After learning Carbink’s mysterious origins involved Xerneas and Yveltal, he inspected the system’s newly unlocked nurturing functions and its Pokémon level rankings.

  • Su Hao released Carbink and introduced himself as its Trainer, and Carbink accepted him warmly.
  • Carbink told Su Hao about its birth in a desolate Secret Realm and the circle of life surrounding a withered tree stump.
  • Su Hao used his beginner-level Wave Power to communicate with Carbink and learned that its memories pointed to Xerneas and Yveltal.
  • Su Hao checked his system panel and learned that the nurturing function could upgrade his Wave Power, teach Pokémon moves, and accelerate their growth through battles.
  • Su Hao reviewed the system’s Pokémon level rankings, from Infant Stage to Master Level.

Ch. 4Father and Son

Su Hao gave Carbink the Diancie Mega Stone, which began accelerating its mutation toward Diancie. After meeting his father, Su Xu, Su Hao agreed to train with Carbink so he could grow strong enough to command the Fire-type Pokémon his family planned to prepare for him.

  • Su Hao examined the Diancie Mega Stone and gave it to Carbink as a gift.
  • The Mega Stone merged into Carbink, and the System showed that its mutation had reached 6% and was accelerating.
  • Su Hao introduced Carbink to his father, Su Xu, who accepted his choice of Starter Pokémon despite preferring Fire-types.
  • Su Xu told Su Hao that the family would prepare an excellent Fire-type Pokémon as his second Pokémon.
  • Su Xu warned that Su Hao would need to become strong enough to command Fire-type Pokémon, so Su Hao decided to begin training with Carbink the next day.

Ch. 5Testing and Ranked Matches

Su Hao took Carbink to the Rising Sun Gym to assess its abilities and prepare for training. After learning how the Alliance’s Ranked Matches worked, he headed to the area where Novice Trainers battled to test Carbink against opponents at its level.

  • Su Hao used his private keycard to enter the Rising Sun Gym and take Carbink to his training room.
  • Su Hao tested Carbink’s physique and moves, finding that it had precise control and strong defenses but lacked power.
  • Su Hao planned to develop Carbink’s abilities in a balanced way before its future Mutation into Diancie and Mega Evolution.
  • Su Hao reviewed the Ranked Matches tiers and learned that the Novice-level Carbink could not yet enter the official competition.
  • Su Hao brought Carbink to the open area where Yang City’s Novice Trainers gathered for battles.

Ch. 6Carbink's First Battle

Su Hao sent Carbink into its first battle against Ye Fan’s Stufful, which had already defeated five opponents. Carbink’s exceptional Defense let it withstand Stufful’s strongest attack before Ancient Power defeated it, and Carbink leveled up afterward.

  • Su Hao sent Carbink out and ordered it to use Harden as Ye Fan’s Stufful charged in.
  • Stufful struck Carbink with a full-force Scratch, but Carbink remained unharmed.
  • Su Hao ordered Carbink to use Ancient Power, and Carbink knocked Stufful unconscious with a stone attack.
  • A boy wearing black-rimmed glasses identified Carbink as a Pokémon uncommon in the country and known for its exceptional Defense.
  • Carbink celebrated its first victory with Su Hao, leveled up from 5 to 6, and gained Defense Curl.
  • Su Hao told Carbink that defeating opponents would make them grow stronger.

Ch. 7Enhancement

After a day of battles, Su Hao brought Carbink home and found that his father had prepared a small bed for it. Carbink absorbed energy from a Pink Diamond, and Su Hao learned that battling and the diamonds could accelerate its progress toward becoming Diancie.

  • Su Hao and Carbink returned home exhausted after battling seven or eight students.
  • Su Hao found a small bed his father had arranged for Carbink and tucked it in after it settled down.
  • Su Hao placed a Pink Diamond beside Carbink, which began absorbing its energy as it slept.
  • Su Hao checked Carbink's Information Panel and saw that it had reached level eight and its mutation progress had risen to 6.5%.
  • Su Hao recalled that Pink Diamonds and battles could speed Carbink's mutation because Xerneas's Fairy Aura had already unlocked its potential to become Diancie.

Ch. 8Forest Outskirts

Su Hao took Carbink to Nameless Forest to battle wild Pokémon, helping Carbink grow stronger before bringing it home to watch a cartoon. He planned to improve Carbink’s offensive abilities and left the story with Carbink asleep and its next training goals set.

  • Su Hao used Pokémon food and Aura to persuade a Little Rattata to battle Carbink, which defeated it with Tackle.
  • Su Hao treated the Little Rattata and other wild Pokémon after Carbink beat them, and Carbink reached level twelve and learned Knock Off by dusk.
  • Su Hao returned home with Carbink, placed Pink Diamond beside it, and played it the cartoon Princess Pikachu and Her Knight Gallade.
  • Su Hao decided Carbink should focus on offensive beam-type moves rather than saving up System Currency to learn Safeguard.
  • Su Hao carried the sleeping Carbink to its bed, then went to sleep after finishing his training plans.

Ch. 9Battle with Two Best Friends

Su Hao, Li Hua, and Jiang Chengcheng met for battles to test their half-month of training, and Su Hao received a system mission to defeat both friends. Li Hua faced Su Hao first, and the match began with their Carbink using Hone Claws and Reflect.

  • Su Hao and Carbink trained their moves, defeated a Level 25 Scyther, and raised Carbink to Level 18 with 10% mutation progress toward Diancie.
  • Su Hao, Li Hua, and Jiang Chengcheng arranged battles in Su Hao's private training room, where the system tasked Su Hao with beating both friends for a reward.
  • Su Hao scanned Li Hua's Level 12 Carbink and Jiang Chengcheng's Level 14 Machop, which knew Thunder Punch.
  • They drew lots and set the battle order as Li Hua versus Su Hao, Li Hua versus Jiang Chengcheng, then Su Hao versus Jiang Chengcheng.
  • Li Hua's Carbink began the first match with Hone Claws and Agility, while Su Hao's Carbink answered with Reflect.

Ch. 10Complete Victory (Tragic)

Su Hao and Carbink defeated Li Hua and Jiang Chengcheng in successive battles, and Carbink reached Level 19. After returning home, Su Hao taught Carbink Protect and learned that his second Pokémon would arrive later.

  • Li Hua's Carbink used Sky Attack against Su Hao's Reflect, but Ancient Power exhausted it and Su Hao's Carbink won.
  • Jiang Chengcheng's Machop knocked Li Hua's Carbink down and finished it with Thunder Punch.
  • Su Hao's Carbink defeated Machop by overpowering its Focus Energy-boosted Thunder Punch with Dazzling Gleam.
  • Jiang Chengcheng vowed to train Li Hua harder and challenge Su Hao again at the school entrance exam, then Su Hao reviewed the battles with them.
  • Su Hao taught Carbink Protect, noted that his second Pokémon would be sent to the Divine Land Alliance later, and saw Carbink's level rise to 19.

Ch. 11Second Pokémon

Su Hao traveled with his father, Su Xu, to Rong City to choose his second Pokémon from its Breeding Center. After arriving, they completed the League procedures and reached the room where eligible Fire-type Starter Pokémon were being kept.

  • Su Hao met Su Xu outside Rising Sun Gym, and they flew to Rong City on Su Xu's Charizard.
  • Su Hao inspected Charizard's data during the flight and saw its high level and extensive move list.
  • The pair entered Rong City and took a Corviknight Taxi after Su Hao chose not to wait for a Dragonite Taxi.
  • At Rong City Breeding Center, the receptionist confirmed Su Xu's appointment and issued them temporary passes.
  • Su Hao and Su Xu rode to the fifth basement floor and reached the room holding the eligible Pokémon.

Ch. 12The Strongest in the Universe

Su Hao selected a gifted male Litten with the Intimidate Ability from nine Fire-type Starters after watching their demonstrations. He gained Litten’s trust and left the training ground carrying his new Pokémon.

  • Su Hao inspected the nine Fire-type Starters and focused on the dozing Litten he had already decided to choose.
  • The Pokémon demonstrated their talents, and Litten used Intimidate to frighten Chimchar and disrupt its prepared move.
  • Su Hao discussed Litten’s unusual control of Intimidate with his father and received his approval to choose it.
  • Su Hao used his Wave Power and patience to earn Litten’s trust, then picked it up and left with it in his arms.
  • Su Hao petted Litten as he walked, and Litten purred comfortably in his hold.

Ch. 13When the New Love Met the Old Love

Su Hao brought Litten home and introduced the kitten to Carbink, who eventually welcomed her as a new partner. He planned to take them to the Spiral Secret Realm the next day, where he intended to train Litten and let Carbink lead their exploration.

  • Su Hao shared photos of Litten in his group chat, and his friends discussed finding second Pokémon before school exams required two-on-two battles.
  • Su Hao introduced Litten to Carbink, and after a five-minute silent stare, Carbink warmly shook Litten's paw and watched cartoons with her.
  • Su Hao decided to give each Pokémon its own bed to prevent disputes and planned to take Carbink and Litten to the Spiral Secret Realm the next day.
  • Su Hao read about the Spiral Secret Realm's ancient tower and connected its appearance to Unova's Dragon Spiral Tower and the legends of Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom.

Ch. 14The Legend of Unova's Founding

Su Hao entered Spiral Secret Realm with Carbink and his father's Arcanine as protection, intending to battle wild Pokémon. He began Litten's training by defeating a Tandem Mouse and continued exploring the forest.

  • Su Hao used his father's certificate to enter Spiral Secret Realm with a Professional Level Arcanine as his bodyguard.
  • After crossing the Space Channel, Su Hao released Carbink and cautiously entered the forest.
  • Su Hao sensed a Level 8 Tandem Mouse and sent Litten out to battle it.
  • Litten's Intimidate frightened Tandem Mouse, and Litten knocked it unconscious with Payback.
  • Su Hao rewarded Litten, treated Tandem Mouse's wounds, and continued exploring with Litten and Carbink.

Ch. 15Scyther

Su Hao and Carbink trained deeper in the forest, defeating a Liepard and helping Carbink reach level 20 as its Mutation progressed. They then encountered a battle-hardened level 30 Scyther, and Su Hao approached it intending to catch it after a fight.

  • Litten defeated wild Pokémon and reached level 8, so Su Hao recalled him and took Carbink deeper into the forest for training.
  • Su Hao used his Wave Power to detect a Liepard's ambush and baited it into range for Carbink's Dazzling Gleam to defeat it.
  • Carbink reached level 20, entered the Normal Level, and advanced its Mutation to twenty percent.
  • Su Hao spotted a level 30 Scyther training in the forest and decided to challenge it with the intention of catching it.

Ch. 16Responsibility to the Clan

Scyther challenged Su Hao and Carbink, but Carbink defeated it, and Scyther declined Su Hao’s invitation because it had to protect its clan. Su Hao befriended Scyther and continued exploring, while Carbink reached Level 22.

  • Scyther accepted Su Hao and Carbink’s challenge and attacked Carbink with Slash and Fury Swipes.
  • Carbink strengthened its defenses, endured Scyther’s attack, and knocked Scyther down with Knock Off.
  • Su Hao invited Scyther to join them, but Scyther refused because its clan needed its protection.
  • Su Hao treated Scyther’s wounds, and he and Carbink parted from their new friend.
  • After defeating several wild Pokémon, Carbink reached Level 22.

Ch. 17Daily Life

After returning from the Secret Realm, Su Hao cleaned his Pokémon and planned training for Carbink and Litten before taking Litten to choose a welcome gift. Meanwhile, two mysterious intruders searched Dragon Spiral Tower for records about gods, then fled before dawn.

  • Su Hao returned home, gave Litten a sand bath and polished Carbink, then planned training focused on Carbink’s Energy Control and precision and Litten’s stamina, fitness, and flame temperature.
  • Two hooded intruders entered Dragon Spiral Tower at night to search for information about gods, but found nothing and left before Night’s Blessing wore off.
  • Su Hao prepared breakfast for Litten, Carbink, and Arcanine, then sent Arcanine back to Rising Sun Gym.

Ch. 18Flowing Water Dojo

Su Hao visited the Flowing Water Dojo to learn how to use his newly awakened Wave Power from Qin Gang, the Pokémon League’s foremost Aura user. After explaining Aura’s history and his own abilities, Qin Gang asked Su Hao to demonstrate his Aura.

  • Su Hao arrived at the Flowing Water Dojo, where Jiang Chengcheng introduced him to Elder Jiang and Qin Gang.
  • Qin Gang lost a sparring match to Elder Jiang despite using Aura to sense his opponent’s movements.
  • Elder Jiang introduced Su Hao as a youth who had recently awakened Wave Power and wanted to learn Aura techniques.
  • Qin Gang explained that Aura was a form of spiritual energy and described the limits of his own abilities and the Aura Clan’s history.
  • Qin Gang asked Su Hao to show him his Aura.

Ch. 19Genius

Su Hao’s extraordinary Aura impressed Qin Gang, who invited him to join the Aura School, but Su Hao chose to remain focused on becoming a Trainer. After receiving Qin Gang’s Aura Insights, Su Hao learned that his Aura was growing naturally and explored the training and battle techniques recorded in the handbook.

  • Qin Gang inspected the quiet room, then asked Su Hao to release his Aura and was astonished by its immense strength.
  • Qin Gang praised Su Hao’s Aura talent and invited him to join the Aura School, but Su Hao politely declined.
  • Qin Gang gave Su Hao a handbook of Aura Insights, and they exchanged contact information before leaving the Flowing Water Dojo.
  • Su Hao asked the system why it had granted only beginner-level Wave Power, and the system explained that his natural aptitude determined its strength and predicted it would advance to Intermediate Aura Power in half a month.
  • Su Hao read about Aura training, detection, telepathy, and techniques that could strengthen Pokémon or help them use Aura Bullets while synchronized.

Ch. 20Cultivation

Su Hao cultivated Aura and trained Carbink and Litten together as the start of school approached. Later, after watching news of Bai Du defeating Guang Lan, he learned from his father how wide the gap was between Elite Four challengers and the Alliance’s strongest Trainers, and his father worried about who would represent the Divine Land Alliance in future World Championships.

  • Su Hao cultivated Aura according to the Aura Insights notes and felt his Aura and physical condition improve.
  • Su Hao arranged training in which Carbink attacked Litten with controlled rocks while Litten practiced dodging, and both Pokémon continued training together as Su Hao cultivated Wave Power.
  • A news report announced that Bai Du had defeated Guang Lan in an Elite Four Challenge despite Guang Lan’s Type Advantage.
  • Su Hao asked his father about the difference between Elite Four Level Trainers and the Elite Four, and his father explained the power needed to qualify for each rank.
  • Su Hao’s father warned that the Divine Land Alliance might struggle to find young Trainers to represent it when its current Elite Four and League Champion could no longer compete in the World Championship.
