He would then arrange for them to become disciples together, after which they could cultivate peacefully in their abodes.
For a time, Jiang Yun found himself with nothing to do.
At his current cultivation level, his physical body, magical power, and primordial spirit had all been tempered extremely solidly. Four of the Five Qi in the Chest had reached perfection, while the remaining fire qi had also reached the pinnacle through the generation cycle of the five elements. If he had not been pursuing a higher-quality Five Qi transformed from innate Five Elements Origin spiritual energy in order to forge a more perfect foundation for himself, he could have broken through his bottleneck long ago and entered the Great Firmament realm.
However, when it came to foundations, the slightest difference now could mean a thousand miles of difference in the future. Among the top great divine beings in the Primordial Desolation World, which one had not meticulously tempered their foundation and forged a perfect one before breaking through?
Of course, some people were born with perfect foundations, like the Three Pure Ones. Other people's finish line was merely their starting point.
To catch up with them, one had to put in even more effort. How could cultivators not be a little harsher on themselves?
Thus, after being idle for only a short while, Jiang Yun began to feel restless. Since his cultivation could not improve for the time being, he decided to spend some time helping his fellow disciples.

He called all his junior fellow disciples together and, imitating the structures of the Transmission Hall and Exchange Hall, prepared to establish a Lecture Hall and an Aid Hall among them.

As for the Aid Hall, he entrusted it to Maitreya. Maitreya had a naturally friendly appearance, always smiling, and was skilled at dealing with people. In the future, he would become the Future Buddha among the Vertical Three World Buddhas, which showed how capable he was. With him managing the Aid Hall, he should be able to help the others quite well.
Over the next hundred years, Jiang Yun and several other Direct Disciples got the Lecture Hall and Aid Hall running. He also gave two lectures at the Lecture Hall, and all the senior and junior fellow disciples came to listen. The results were quite good. Eventually, word reached Zhunti and Jieyin's ears, and they were delighted. When there is work to be done, the disciples should shoulder it for their teachers. Their first disciple was truly putting those words into practice, saving the two teachers a great deal of trouble!
Having such a disciple was truly worry-free!
A hundred years passed, and the Western Sea Dragon Palace's group coming to become disciples finally arrived at Mount Sumeru.
With both groups assembled, Jiang Yun began making arrangements for the discipleship ceremony.
After letting them rest for several days, he chose an auspicious day and brought sixteen younger dragon clan disciples into the Grand Hall.
Everyone followed Jiang Yun into the hall with awe and excitement. They saw Jieyin and Zhunti seated upright on a lofty cloud platform. Beneath the cloud platform, a golden lotus slowly turned, radiating a gentle light of merit. Behind the two of them appeared tall and solemn dharma forms, and an aura of compassion and majesty swept over them.
Jiang Yun signaled for the people from the Dragon Palace to begin their bows and discipleship rites. Everyone knelt in unison with joy and called out, "We are younger disciples of the Dragon Palace... Today, in pursuit of the Great Way, we wish to enter the Western Saint Teachings. We hope the two Venerables will take pity on us and accept us into your sect. We offer our thanks!"
Jieyin and Zhunti slowly opened their eyes. Their gazes were like the profound starry sky, containing boundless wisdom and tolerance. Jieyin gently raised a hand, and a soft golden light shot from his fingertips. It landed before the crowd and transformed into a Golden Light Great Path. "If you enter my sect, you must cast aside all worldly delusions and devote yourselves wholeheartedly to the Way. Are you willing?" His voice was like the tolling of a great bell, striking directly at the depths of their souls.
Everyone cried out in unison, "We are willing to follow the Venerable's teachings and devoutly pursue the Way!" Then they slowly advanced along the Golden Light Great Path. With every step they took, it seemed as though a layer of karmic energy was peeled from their bodies.
When they finally arrived at Jieyin's feet, Jieyin raised his hand once more, and strands of Eight Treasures Merit Water enveloped them. Everyone felt their bodies and minds being cleansed by a warm and pure force, while their souls seemed to reach sublimation in an instant.
After cleansing the Dragon Palace's people of their karmic burdens, Jieyin transformed the cultivation method into spiritual light and sent it into the brow centers of every person seeking discipleship. From that moment onward, they officially became Registered Disciples of the Western Teachings and embarked on the long journey of pursuing the Great Way of the West.
