Background

Ji An entered the Golden Spirit Sect as a new outer disciple and was assigned with Liu Yu to Azure Water Lake for Spiritual Grain Farming, an unpopular post left after more desirable hall assignments had been taken. Though disappointed, he accepted the position and received the Clear Origin Scripture, Minor Cloud and Rain Art, and Thick Earth Art. 4

While cultivating at Azure Water Lake, Ji An discovered the Stone Turtle within his dantian. The treasure absorbs surrounding spiritual potential and lets him refine it into rapid spell comprehension, though it initially claimed half of the mana he refined. 5 6 8 His early advancement as a Spirit Farmer came from combining this advantage with relentless fieldwork, repeated spellcasting, and careful management of cultivation resources. 8 17 23
